DRIVER WHO INTENTIONALLY KNOCK GUARD AT RED SWASTIKA SCHOOL ARRESTED BY POLICE

To add on to the saga of the news where the driver of a Bentley intentionally tried to run a security guard down at Red Swastika School earlier this morning, (11 January), it has been reported that the driver of the Bentley has been arrested by the Police.

The driver was identified as a 61 y.o man, with his name still unknown in media reports.

Police also said that investigations are still ongoing and the driver has been arrested for rash act causing hurt.

The Union of Security Employees (USE) has identified the security guard involved to be 62 y.o Neo Ah Whatt.

It is said that the 62 y.o security guard has sustained minor injuries and is now recuperating at home.

The union also said in a Facebook post that they are very disturbed by the incident and that the anger towards the Bentley driver by the community and social media is fully justified.

Minister for Education, Chan Chun Sing, had also spoke about this incident on his Facebook page earlier and said that they will not hesitate to make a Police report and authorities are looking into the case.
