A father jumped off a highway bridge with his 3 children on 2 August, with only one child surviving, with injuries.
The incident took place in Malaysia on 2 August, with the father throwing his children off the 20-metre high bridge first before jumping down himself.
The sole child who survived, is currently in hospital with internal injuries including a broken rib, while the other boy and girl died with their father.
Background
The 38-year-old man, who is believed to be a Myanmar national, purportedly threw his children off the bridge off the Middle Ring Road highway in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.
He then jumped down the bridge, which is about 20-metres high.
When the police arrived at the scene, they found four bodies near the traffic lights below, lying by the side of the road.
Two of the children, around 7-8 years old, were pronounced dead at the scene, with a 5-year-old boy surviving and being sent to Selayang Hospital.
The surviving boy is currently in the ICU for internal injuries.
