Philippine national Ong Rica Mae Icamina, 41-years-old, was given 7 charges on 6 December for a slew of offences including attacking and insulting a police officer.
She allegedly met another person to shop and drink beer during last year’s circuit breaker.
She returned to court on 27 December for a further mention of her case.
What happened?
Ong allegedly met another person, Quirog Juliet Saragena outside Lucky Plaza on 31 May last year at about 5.50pm to go shopping and drink beer, which was not allowed at the time.
She then grabbed a police officer’s hand outside the mall before being taken to the Polcie Cantonment Complex on the same evening.
At the police station, Ong allegedly insulted a policewoman and called her mother a word in Tagalog that starts with “w” and rhymes with “more”.
She also allegedly tried to kick the same policewoman and insulted another policeman, shouting and demanding to be released from her handcuffs.
She is expected to return to court in January.
