I get turned on by smells that are typically not pleasant
I guess it has to do with pheromones but things like sweaty armpits, or the smell of someone’s downstairs. Sometimes body odors.
I read someone where that things like armpit hair, “hair”, and beards have scent glands for pheromones but it doesn’t make me feel less weird.
I know I like my own smell. My armpits or genitals. I’ll often just take a sniff.
I also just really love bushes partly for that reason.
I do have my limits though.
I know I like the smell of things because of what it reminds me of. Smell being a big part of our memory.
There have been times I enjoyed the smell of my ex’s pillow. His underwear. His socks. His feet. His shoes that he wore all day. This wouldn’t just apply to her but other partners too.
To a degree it’s comforting. On another it’s arousing.
It’s gross I know. Especially how primal it is.
