Woken up by a Neighbour’s extremely loud vomiting at 5/6am every morning.
Every 5/6am, one neighbour (i have no idea who) will begin to vomit his guts out. Its seems like his toilet echoes out his voice. It’s so damn loud.
My sleep quality is like crap now because i get woken up by his gut throttling puke. Cant tell if he’s puking from illness or drunkenness. Who am i suppose to reach out to for this issue.
Netizens’ comments
- i think the sound might not be vomiting, but brushing of the teeth (tongue specifically).
don’t know why, but some old people would brush their tongue till the point they physically gag and make a vomiting sound. some of my older relatives brush like that - I think they are just hurking their phlegm out. Old ppl are notorious for doing it really loudly
- Omg!!! I have this same nieghbour too. But he does it at 7+am. He does the same every morning. This guttural vomiting sound but no actual vomit. It’s just the vomiting motion
- Based from comments this is more widespread than any of us expected
- Looks like your problem will be short lived as he doesn’t seem to have very much longer to live.
Possible reasons for the daily vomiting
Vomiting every morning is an all-too-common experience for many people. While some may think it’s simply a sign of a weak stomach, it could be the sign of an underlying medical condition. Here, we explore why people vomit every morning and what could be causing it.
One of the most common causes of morning vomiting is acid reflux. This is when stomach acid backs up into the esophagus, causing a burning sensation and sometimes nausea and vomiting. Other causes of morning vomiting include food sensitivities, gallbladder problems, and stomach viruses.
Morning vomiting can also be caused by stress and anxiety. Stress can cause the body to produce more stomach acid, which can lead to an upset stomach and vomiting. Anxiety can also trigger the fight-or-flight response, which can cause nausea and vomiting.
Certain medications can also cause morning vomiting. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and antibiotics are the most common culprits.
Finally, morning vomiting could be a sign of a more serious medical condition, such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or celiac disease.
