A netizen shared how he was going for a jog when he was suddenly pushed by another guy and accused of staring at his girlfriend.
Here is the story
I (26M), was jogging yesterday around 6pm at PCN. Good weather, going strong at 5.5km.
Then WHAMPP- a random dude shoved me to one side and accused me of staring at his gf who is jogging ahead of me. He started shouting at me, and everyone nearby looked.
Like, what the hell, there were literally 5 other runners in front of me, and the only thing I cared was my workout. How does one accuse me of staring, when I must face forward in order to see where I’m running? Also, I’m pretty sure my pace was faster than most runners, so I kept passing people – how the heck would I have enough time to look at someone ahead of me?
Is there some sort of cultural shit I don’t understand? Like am I not supposed to be looking forward while running?! Then how? Crab walk?!
Netizens’ comments
- Tell him that you are not looking at his gf, but actually at how insecure he is.
- Nothing honestly there are some people with a screw loose out there. I have been shouted at by a cyclist even though i almost got knocked over by a bicycle. He even threatened me to walk in front of him again so he could knock me over. Dude you can just ring the bell, I’m not deaf.
Some people just can’t be reasoned with.
