A husband got worried after his wife did not answer her phone. It was believed that Ms Tan Lee Guang, 28, went to a friend’s house to collect her daughter’s clothes. The husband was worried as she did not return home. It was only after receiving a call from the police that he realised that his wife was hit by a drunk driver and she was taken to hospital.

The accident happened at 1:19am on Feb 21 at Block 541 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10.
The 28 year old Tan was knocked down by a car while crossing the road. The accident left her with a sunken skull and enlarged pupils. Her heart was not beating when she was sent to the hospital. She was pronounced dead about an hour after the crash.
