MAN FELL IN LOVE WITH FOREIGNER, THINKING IF SHOULD CHASE HER OVERSEAS

Never thought i’d make a post like this, but here we are:

I went on a date with a girl last week, we both had no expectations as she was only in the country for a few days for work.

I’ve never gotten so comfortable with someone so quickly, we vibed instantly, had similar values, both admitted high physical attraction for each other and just had THE best night ever.

The night went by in such a blur, which followed by us continuing the date the following day. Before I knew it, I was dropping her off at the airport and she was gone.

I finally found someone I truly, genuinely liked and she doesn’t even live in the same country haha – but such is life I suppose.

My question is, how much of what is going through my head is real, and not just some “what if” fantasy because we could only spend < 24hrs with each other?

I could easily arrange flights to see her again, and she was very into the idea, but I’m not sure if I’m setting myself up for hurt.

Has anyone else followed love to a different country? Could make quite a good story to look back on…

Here are what netizens think

  • My advice would be to understand that it could fail but it can also succeed. In life, all you can do is put yourself out there and accept the outcome regardless of what happens. The only way you introduce success as an option, is by trying.
  • Dude if y’all really clicked and you feel this is the one, pursue that and meet again, and see where life takes you. That’s the beauty of life and following your gut. Good luck on it
  • Go for it. When you’re older you’ll be proud you chased something like this. Why not?
