Earlier today, a 45-year-old man pleaded guilty in court after he was found to have raped his daughter. The charges include 2 counts of rape and another charge of sexual assault by penetration.
The court revealed that the couple migrated to Singapore from China and the man eventually received his citizenship (Pink IC).
In court, it was revealed that the man is the biological father of the victim. The daughter’s nightmare began when she was 9-years-old and the father let the daughter went through 2 years of ordeal from touching her and raping her.
This went on for two years before the mother found out about it. The man was worried that his daughter might get pregnant and he fed her contraceptive pills and told her that it is cough medicine.
The mother eventually discovered the pills and knew that the pills were not for cough and confronted her husband. The husband admitted that the pills were to make sure her daughter did not get pregnant.
The mother reported the incident to the Police the next day leading to him pleading in court today (Oct 14), The man was sentenced to a jail term of 21 years and 24 strokes of the rotan.
