My (32M) Girlfriend (36F) decided to dance with someone else tonight and it annoyed me. The fact that I was so annoyed by it, it annoyed her!
Long and short we have been together for 6 years, living under the same roof for 2. Now I will admit, this is not the first time this has happened when we have gone out to the pubs for an evening.
Basically what ended up happening tonight was we were drinking and our song ends up coming on that is enjoyed by both my lady and I.
Once the chorus kicks in, she walks away from us singing and dancing to each other, grabs a random guys hand that is nearby, and walks to the stage of the venue to dance and sing with him.
Once the song ended, I explained to her that it was absolutely disrespectful for her to go and dance to a song we both love with a random fellow.
She told me ‘you didn’t really seem into it and I just wanted to dance.’ My mates that I was with kind of gave a confused look between the two of us and walked away.
Hell, I even walked away for a good 20 minutes. What does you hink of an action like this by a significant other? Do I have a right to be upset about it? Nothing became of it, but it was absolutely weird to me!
