
The Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) revealed that a total of 37 complaints were filed against MDS Collections, a fashion retailer, between 1 June 2019 and 31 December 2020.
Most of the complaints were related to customers failing to received the items that they ordered.
MDS Collections also failed to resolve the complaints received by CASE and a warning letter was issued to the errant fashion retailer.
Customers complained that they didn’t received their orders, received incomplete orders and some even waited over six months after their scheduled delivery dates but still didn’t receive their items.
Also, some customers who were informed by MDS to collect their orders at the physical retail outlet found ther stores closed when they reached.
Customers also complained that after signing up for the monthly subscriptions, they didn’t receive any credits.
They also complained that MDS Collections continued to charge them monthly fees even though they had terminated their subscriptions.
To this day, MDS Collections has failed to resolve a hugh portion of the complaints against them but they are still continuing with their online sales.
