A 43-year old woman was aware that her son had sexually assaulted her daughter and failed to protect her daughter despite multiple assaults.
For raping and attacking his younger sister, the defendant’s son was sentenced to 11 years and 6 months in jail. The assault started when the victim was just 12-years-old.
The mother faces 5 charges which included deliberately concealing criminal information regarding minors being raped or indecently and knowingly allowing his son to sexually assault her other child.
According to details of the case, The mother was aware of her son’s action since 2010 and it lasted for several years till 2017. The court demanded that the defendant’s identity not be revealed in order to protect victims.
The mother will be back in court next month to receive her sentence.
