Earlier today (14 Nov), a fire broke out at a HDB unit located in Yishun. The root cause of the fire was due to a charging PMD.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to a fire incident that happened at Block 424A Yishun Ave 11 at around 9.45 am. Investigations revealed that the fire was caused by a PMD that was charging at that time.
40 residents from the block were evacuated. 2 residents staying in the unit were recused by the firefighters.
One of them was conveyed to Singapore General Hospital after sustaining burn injuries.
