According to a video circulating on social media, on the 16 May 2020, a woman in China had ordered a tonne worth onions to her ex-boyfriend after their break up.

According to a voice clip in the video, she explained that her ex-boyfriend was not affected by their breakup. As for herself, she had cried for 3 days. In order to let her ex-boyfriend to have a taste of what she went through, she decided to order the onions and send it to her ex-boyfriend place to make him cry.
She had even left a note for the delivery man not to call up the house owner upon arrival and just pile up all the onions at the doorstep of the indicated address.
