A Singapore registered Ferrari reportedly rear ended a Toyota Camry in an accident in Johor Bahru, resulting in the Toyota flipping over and crashing upside down.
According to Malaysian news media website Kosmo!, the accident took place on the North South Expressway in Malaysia on the morning of 17 March.
The accident involved a Singapore registered Ferrari and a Toyota Camry believed to belong to a Malaysian.
The Ferrari driver had reportedly lost control of his car while travelling on the North South Expressway at the time of the accident and crashed into the Toyota Camry from behind.
The resultant impact caused the Toyota Camry to veer off the road and flip in the air before crashing and landing on the road upside down.
THe Assistant Commisioner of the Muar District Police Chief, Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said that the Ferrari was driven by a 22 year old Singaporean man.
Raiz added that the Ferrari driver was on his way to Kuala Lumpur when he lost control of the car and crashed into the Toyota.
As a result of the collision, both the cars skidded towards the right side of the road and crashed onto a grass patch at the side.
Despite the Toyota turning into a mangled wreck after the accident, the four passengers inside the vehicle only sustained minor injuries.
8world news reported that all the four passengers inside the destroyed Toyota Camry were Malaysian man in their 50s.
However, there is no news or updates about the condition of the Ferrari driver at the moment.
The police are also investigating the incident at the time of writing.
