Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha said that they will be opening their borders to travelers from Singapore (and 9 other countries) if they are fully vaccinated, from 1 November 2021.
Prayut said:
“I have instructed the CCSA (Centre for Covid‐19 Situation Administration) and the Ministry of Public Health to urgently consider within this week to allow, as of Nov. 1, international visitors to enter Thailand without any requirement for quarantine if they are fully vaccinated and arrive by air from low-risk countries.”
The test results of a PCR test will be required and upon arrival, they will need to take another test.
As of now, travellers from Singapore are required to serve a quarantine (upon arrival) of at least 7 days if they are vaccinated, and 10 days is they are not vaccinated.
Prayut said that the decision was made for the good of their economy.
