According to the Police media release, The police released images of two individuals and appealed for information.
Here is what the Police said:
The Police are looking for the man and woman shown in the images below to assist with investigations into a case of theft reported at Block 424 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 on 14 February 2022.
Anyone with information is requested to call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000 or submit information online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness.
All information will be kept strictly confidential.
Penalties for theft
Section 378 of the Penal Code states that:
“Whoever, intending to take dishonestly any movable property out of the possession of any person without that person’s consent, moves that property in order to such taking, is said to commit theft.”
The penalty for theft could result in jail and/or fine.
