Refuse to have kids unless you have enough financial security for a lifetime.
This country is screwed without a growing slave class to keep things running. The less slaves, the more bargaining power those slaves have.
If not that, then at the very least lowering the population will hurt corporations’ bottom line which may help usher change at a fundamental level.
In addition to the previous points, I personally would never be able to live a nice, genuinely enjoyable life if I have kids without significant income. That’s just my and many others’ realities.
There’s also no reasonable way to have kids now unless you are making 6 figures. As much as I would love a family, I refuse to brings sentient beings into this world under strife nor will I let myself struggle and suffer by having kids, always worrying about finances.
I will only have kids if I’m (relatively) rich and can stay rich.

- Even at 6 figures, it’s a stretch just getting the kids everything they need. Everyone is one disaster, illness, injury away from losing everything. A goddamned broken leg recently cost us a fortune. Need to be a millionaire to absorb that without it hurting.
- I recently became aware that this is called antinatalism and I hold a lot of sympathy for it. I have more reasons for being a childfree harridan, but lack of resources is a significant one.

And the govt isn’t rounding up everyone’s first born child yet so parents, tied down working 2 jobs each or more, would rather be stepped on to feed their kids and provide shelter. Hell, even the Israelites let Pharoah take their first borns and just let it happen, out of fear.
A generation of no kids? That generation has more control over demands. Sure, the govt and corps can increase visas and bring in more population from overpopulated countries but, even that part of the world is slowly getting better educated and realizing the scam.
