TikTok user @huasze shared a video of her friend playing a realistic VR (Virtual Reality) boxing game at Suntec City when things went horribly wrong.

Her friend was so immersed in the game that she ended up throwing a punch at the television screen and breaking it.

Hua Sze told MustShareNews that she was with her friends at Suntec City when they were approached by a sales assistant at a booth to try a VR game.

Her friend then tried the game and everything went smoothly on the first try, and but she later got so engrossed in the boxing game that she really “went for it”.

She threw a few punches at her “opponent” as she took a few steps forward, and ended up punching the TV screen.

Everyone was shocked at what happened and there was an audible “THUD” when she punched the screen, and one of the staff members of the booth (who was on the phone) then hung up his call and went over to see what happened.

Another shocked staff member then dragged Hua’s friend away, and she said that they “screamed so loud” that the people at the neighbouring Shake Shack turned around and stared at what was happening.

The staff then checked on the broken TV and made sure that everyone was okay.

The girls then apologised and offered to compensate them for the damages, but the understanding staff rejected them and said that this was in fact the 3rd time that something like this has happened.

They even invited the girls to come back the next time.
