In a recent incident that has garnered both praise and support, Malaysian actor and radio deejay Jack Lim made headlines for taking swift action against a man allegedly involved in upskirt photography during a meet-and-greet event in Malaysia on January 19, according to CNA Lifestyle and Shin Min Daily News.

Lim was promoting his upcoming movie at the event when he observed a man behaving suspiciously, repeatedly moving a paper bag towards the skirts of several female artists present at the event. The alertness of Malaysian singer Henry Teo led to an attempt to confront the man and a chase ensued, with the man taking off and running away.
Despite Teo’s efforts to apprehend the individual, the man managed to escape, running at a pace that Teo couldn’t match. Fortunately, food delivery drivers in the vicinity intervened and stopped the man in the parking lot, preventing his escape.

Upon inspecting the contents of the man’s paper bag, it was revealed that it had a hole designed for his phone to record upskirt videos. Lim expressed shock at the discovery, stating that the man couldn’t delete all of his incriminating videos in time and as soon as he turned on the man’s phone, he found a lot of videos.
Lim also added that he believes many of his artistes have been secretly filmed by the man on separate occasions.

In a video shared on Lim’s social media pages, the entertainer can be seen striking the man as police officers were escorting him away. Lim explained that the man had bumped into him, prompting a natural reaction where he swung at the man.
Lim was seen in the video striking the captured man in the face as he was being led away by the police, before the latter dropped to the ground.
Despite acknowledging the impulsivity of his actions, Lim emphasized his willingness to face any legal consequences.
In a social media post addressing the incident, Lim admitted to acting on impulse but asserted the collective responsibility to protect those around us. He expressed a commitment to bear any legal consequences, underscoring the importance of safeguarding the well-being of others.
