HUSBAND TRIED TO CHEAT, WANTED TO “UP” OTHER WOMEN BUT GOT REJECTED INSTEAD

0

Found out that my partner tried to cheat on me but the women turned him down

He’s tall dark and handsome always told me that women threw themselves at him and I’m lucky because he could’ve banged anyone at any time but he chose me.

Recently I found out he was talking to some women but denied anything physical had happened as he decided to remain faithful to me.

I reached out to the main woman he was talking to (respectfully and not angry at her). She actually shared their entire conversation with me and the screenshots clearly show him pursuing her out for drinks and her just ghosting him at some point. And of course he told her he was single.

I asked her why she didn’t go out with him and she said he came across as kind of creepy, entitled, and toxic.

I just want to laugh. I’m of course devastated at the lies and I’m 100% sure something physical would have happened if she agreed to go out with him.

I also have evidence that several other women turned him down when he asked to sleep with them too.

But oh boy this just shed light on how much of a loser he is. (No questions relationship is obviously over). I’m planning my grand exit where I will show him her texts and laugh in his face as I know seeing any lowly opinion from another woman will really crush his confidence.

Netizens’ comments

  1. I’m sorry you had to deal with that a-hole. Please can we get an update on your grand finale?
  2. Right so if this guy is claiming that women throw themselves at him that’s a bit of a sign that he’s either a f boy or he’s very insecure. I’m not sure why someone would say that to their partner. It just baffles me.
  3. May I suggest something? Don’t show him the messages. Don’t tell him you know he was hitting on other women. Here’s why: If you do that he might feel a little bad that he’s losing you. But he’ll have the consolation of telling himself you would have stayed with him if he didn’t try to cheat. In other words, that you still wanted him.
It will hurt him worse if you just say (in whatever way), “Hey. You know what. I’m breaking up with you. I just think you’re not good enough for me. You really aren’t that handsome and your personality kinda sucks, so, yeah, it’s over.”

JURONG RESIDENT SAW A HAND WAVING OUTSIDE WINDOW, BUT THEY LIVE ON 6TH FLOOR

0

From 2010-2014, I lived in this flat in Jurong West Street 42. I will not name the block but it is located near a supermarket . Throughout that 4 years, I had always felt uneasy living there. The flats there were quite old. I lived on the 6th floor and getting home was complicated.

Back then, the lifts in my flat only stopped at levels 4 and 7. Hence, in order to get home, I had to walk a long corridor and go 1 level down to reach home.

At night, I could say at least 80% of the time there were faulty lights along the corridor at level 7. Walking along the corridor never felt good. You know those types of chills that you get!! I always felt cold and my hair will stand each time I walk along the corridor. That’s the reason why I run along the corridor most of the time. Especially at night, I always feel like someone is following me from the back all the time. Now, here come the hauntings that my family and I faced…

I faced 2 incidents back at that old flat. One incident happened when I came back home from school and I was alone at home. I was preparing for my PSLE at that time and alone at home around 4pm. When I was revising, the earpiece I hung on one of the wall hooks started untangling on it’s own at a very high speed before falling on the floor. No questions asked, I ran straight to my grandparent’s house.

The second incident happened when I was eating in the kitchen with my helper. We were eating and she asked me whether I feel weird about the house. This was around 7 pm. When she asked that question, the microwave immediately flew open on its own. I forgot what happen next but we shifted 2-3 months after these incidents.

After we shifted, my dad said he didn’t feel anything in the old house but my mum told us her stories. Throughout the years, she frequently sees a hand waving at her from the kitchen window like just the arm waving. We lived on the 6th floor so there was no way anyone could have waved at my mum. She also complained about the feeling of being followed at level 7.

When we told our grandma this, she told us she knew something about the flat but she didn’t wanna tell us so that we won’t be scared living there. She said that when she came out of the lift at level 7, she always see this dark figure waiting at the corner and that dark figure will always follow anyone back to their house. Sometimes this figure will follow all the way into the house and sometimes it will just follow back to the doorstep and leave us alone. I am just thankful that I did not see anything there except for the small disturbance but for sure I wouldn’t wanna go back to that house.

MAN SAYS TAIWAN PEOPLE ACTS POLITE BUT DONO WHAT IS “EXCUSE ME”, RUDE AF

0

I recently had the opportunity to visit Taiwan for a business trip. Before I arrived, I had heard a lot of stories about the Taiwanese people being “rude” and not being very friendly.

THEY ARE INDEED FKING RUDE.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Taiwan for a business trip. Before I arrived, I had heard a lot of stories about the Taiwanese people being “rude” and not being very friendly. I was apprehensive, to say the least. I was really curious to see if this was true and if I would encounter any rudeness during my stay.

Well, let me tell you, I was not disappointed. From the moment I stepped off the plane, I was met with an unwelcoming attitude. The airline staff were quite cold and unhelpful, ignoring my questions and not even making eye contact.

The same attitude continued throughout my stay. Everywhere I went, people seemed to be in a rush and not willing to help me out with anything. Even when I asked for directions or help with something, the response was always dismissive and unhelpful.

I soon started to realize that the stories I had heard were true. The Taiwanese people really are quite rude. It seemed like they had no respect for anyone who wasn’t a local or didn’t speak Chinese. Even when I tried to speak Chinese, my attempts were met with a cold and dismissive attitude.

I also noticed that this rudeness extended to other foreigners as well. I saw many people being treated rudely and ignored, simply because they weren’t local. This made me feel even worse about my own experience.

I eventually came to the conclusion that the Taiwanese people are indeed very rude. This was a huge shock to me, as I had expected a much more welcoming and friendly attitude from the people I encountered.

However, I also learned something from this experience. I learned that it’s important to be respectful and polite when dealing with people from other cultures. Even if they don’t seem to be doing the same, it’s important to treat them with respect and kindness.

This experience also taught me to be more patient when dealing with people from different cultures. I now understand that it takes time to get to know someone and learn about their culture. I also understand that not everyone is going to be as welcoming and friendly as I expected.

Overall, the experience of visiting Taiwan was a valuable one. Although I didn’t get the warm welcome I was expecting, I still learned a lot from my experience. I now understand that it’s important to be respectful and patient when dealing with people from other cultures, and that not everyone is going to be as welcoming and friendly as I expected.

WOMAN EXPECTS ONLINE DATES TO REPLY HER FAST AND FURIOUS

0

Help! In need of some advice from the guys.

I am a 28F and have matched with several guys on CMB which are 8-10 older than me. There is a trend I find in them, the frequency of them texting me/starting a convo/replying my text is really really slow. They can reply my text once/twice a day and sometimes just disappear for days and suddenly text me to ask me how I am doing and would like to meet up… Like what?!? I don’t understand…?!?

To all the guys, can you explain if this is normal? Like are they still interested or are they really so busy given that they are older and have more work priorities that they can’t even find a time to check their phone for a few seconds to reply or are they just trying to find someone to talk to when they are bored?

To me, as a female, I find that these convos start to get boring fast and they definitely have lost interest and I will start to lose interest fast too.

If that’s the case, why are they even on the app if they have other priorities that matters more… Really don’t understand how guys think…

Or… I just have bad judgement to match with these guys. Sigh!

Here are what netizen thinks:

  • Tbh, I have met ladies (who were of similar age as you) who also text back once/twice a day and sometimes do not text back for days. It can be painful to realise that you are just one match among their many matches they might have. They could have other priorities like work and family matters to attend to. They can’t pause all around them and just focus on getting to know you. That is the sad reality. If you would like to find a partner and settle down within the next 1-3 years, you might want to sign up a package with Lunch Actually. I think do date coaching as well and can help you to find the right one. All the best!
  • Everyone on the app is talking to a lot of different ppl .. so after a while all conversations are sorta patronising and mundane.. hardly anyone leaves a special impression anymore. And meetup is just cut to the chase to see if there’s any physical chemistry. It’s very normal these days, and all these older guy’s priority are not relationship at times. So just don’t take yourself so seriously too. Go out and meet ppl and have fun

AH LIAN CHEATS TAXI UNCLE OF $22 FARE, REACH DESTINATION & FLED WITHOUT PAYING

0

In the world of taxi driving, where every fare counts, an unusual incident unfolded recently that left one cabby in disbelief.

C. K. Tiong, a seasoned taxi driver, took to social media to share his encounter with a passenger who allegedly ran off without paying her fare.

A Shocking Encounter

It all began on a regular Saturday when Tiong picked up a passenger from Sengkang East Way. The passenger, described as a young and petite “ah lian,” provided minimal information, merely giving him the address as they approached their destination.

Upon arriving at 311A Anchorvale Lane, the passenger, without hesitation, refused to pay the $8.15 fare for the 5 minute journey. She accused Tiong trying to inflate the taxi fare by making an additional turn, a claim he vehemently denied.

In an attempt to resolve the situation, Tiong warned the passenger that he would involve the police if she didn’t settle the fare promptly. However, the passenger had other plans.

A Twist in the Tale

While waiting for the police to arrive, the fare-evading passenger decided to make a daring move—she ran off, leaving Tiong in a state of disbelief. He couldn’t believe the audacity of this passenger, whom he later described as “bodoh to the max” on social media.

To ensure that the fare kept accumulating during this ordeal, Tiong kept the taxi meter running for approximately 45 minutes until the police finally arrived. When the receipt was issued, the fare had escalated to $21.70. However, this was far from the end of the story.

The police officers, responding to the incident, tried to reach the woman several times, urging her to resolve the matter amicably. However, she stubbornly refused to cooperate and “settle the problem,” according to Tiong.

Faced with this uncooperative passenger, the police advised Tiong to make an official police report.

GUY ACT HERO, NEVER WEAR GLOVES WHILE PUNCHING BAG

0

A guy shared a story of how he went to his friend’s house to use his newly bought punching bag but decided not to wear the boxing gloves as he practised on the bag.

It ended with him hurting his knuckles and fingers and now he regrets it, learnt his lesson and wants to share his story and experience.

Here is the story

“This happened recently but I just realised that I messed up the day after I tried to be a hero.

So I will start this of by saying I do not do boxing and do not use boxing equipment often.

Well one day my friend got this reflex punching bag and invited me to come and use it as I had not been exercising for a while and had expressed my interest in starting an exercise routine and living a healthy lifestyle.

He was not at home when I went over and his brother who opened the door for me told me to go ahead inside my friend’s room to use the bag.

So I proceeded to go into his room, did some stretching and warm up before I started my boxing routine.

It was kinda rough and it hurt to hit but no big deal I thought as that must be intentional.

The next day I woke up and my hands were burning. Lots of little cuts and scratched and the skin was hot and rough to the touch.

I tried putting some lotion on and that just made it worse by finding each little cut in my hand. I got most of it off bit it still burned.

I asked my friend about it and apparently he had left some gloves on a table and expected me to use them.

Good news is I learned something new about reflex bags, downside I my hands are on fire as I type it.”

SHANE POW HIRED FANS TO WORK AT HIS EATERY, BUT THEY QUIT BECAUSE CAN’T SEE HIM

0

In a world where the glitz and glamour of showbiz once reigned supreme, Singaporean celebrities are increasingly trading the spotlight for the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.

While some have struck gold with their business ventures, others have faced setbacks, reminding us that fame doesn’t guarantee success in the business world.

Celebrity F&B ventures

One shining example of a celebrity-turned-entrepreneur success story is Jeanette Aw. Known for her remarkable acting career, she ventured into the F&B industry with “What The Fudge” brownies.

Another celebrity who took the plunge into the food and beverage world is Taufik Batisah. Renowned for his singing career, Taufik ventured into the world of spice with “Chix Hot Chicken.”

His bold move paid off as the flavorsome venture became a hot topic in town, proving that a celebrity’s touch can sometimes turn an eatery into a sensation.

While tales of triumph abound, not all celebrities-turned-business owners find themselves in a fairy tale. Shane Pow, a familiar face in showbiz, embarked on a rather rocky journey into entrepreneurship with his Korean eatery, Gogiyo.

In late 2020, Shane Pow, along with five childhood friends, entered the competitive F&B scene by opening Gogiyo, a Korean stall. Shane is a part-shareholder in the venture, balancing it with his acting career. Initially, four Gogiyo outlets graced the food scene, but today, only one outlet is left.

Fan-workers fiasco

Shane Pow had an innovative idea to engage his fans by offering them job opportunities at Gogiyo. The allure of working alongside their favorite actor while earning a salary seemed like a win-win situation. However, reality didn’t quite align with expectations.

Speaking on the KUNZversations podcast by YES933 DJ Zhong Kunhua, some fans did join as employees, but Shane’s hectic schedule made it challenging for him to interact with them as they had hoped. Disappointed by the lack of meet-and-greet opportunities, some fans decided to quit their jobs.

Shane Pow’s vision for Gogiyo didn’t quite materialize as planned. The restaurant struggled to generate the anticipated cash flow.

While Shane thought of serving dishes like chicken rice or bak chor mee, he also acknowledged the fierce competition in the market for these quintessentially Singaporean dishes.

Owning a restaurant had always been a dream for Shane, and investing in one seemed like a fun idea, especially for hosting gatherings with friends.

However, this aspiration led to the downfall of his business. Instead of attracting organic customers, Shane ended up becoming his own restaurant’s top spender instead, primarily due to him hosting lavish gatherings for his friends.

Conclusion

The stories of celebrities like Jeanette Aw and Taufik Batisah demonstrate that successful transitions from showbiz to entrepreneurship are indeed possible.

However, Shane Pow’s rollercoaster journey with Gogiyo reminds us that fame alone is not enough to guarantee business success. It’s a testament to the challenges and uncertainties that come with venturing into the competitive world of entrepreneurship.

MAN WOKE UP ONE MORNING WITH HALF HIS FACE SUDDENLY PARALYSED, NOW NEED 1 HR TO EAT SOUP

0

A man in Malaysia, Faliq Fahmie, started a thread on Twitter (now known as X) detailing his journey and experience with Bell’s Palsy, and how it all started when he woke up one morning with half of his face suddenly paralysed.

Bell’s Palsy

Bell’s palsy is a condition characterized by sudden weakness or paralysis on one side of the face. It occurs due to inflammation of the facial nerve, often following a viral infection. This condition can be both physically and emotionally challenging, as Faliq’s journey reveals.

Faliq’s ordeal began with a slight numbness on the left side of his face one night last month. Initially, he chose to ignore it and slept through the discomfort.

However, when he woke up the next morning, he was met with an alarming realization – he could not move the muscles on the left side of his face. Concerned, he wasted no time and promptly visited a clinic for a thorough examination.

At the clinic, the doctor initially suspected a minor stroke and arranged for an ambulance to transport Faliq to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).

After undergoing a CT brain scan and further assessments, it was confirmed that it wasn’t a stroke; there was no sign of a blood clot in his brain. Instead, he was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, a condition that was about to change his life significantly.

Faliq’s posts online

Week 1 (17th Aug – 23rd Aug)

Half face completely paralyzed. Can’t move a muscle, can’t close my left eyes fully. Had to take steroids (12 pills per day). Can’t talk or eat properly. Left ear super sensitive to sounds. A proper hell.

Week 2 (24th Aug – 30th Aug)

MC is over. Back to work. Nothing changes. Had a breakdown at a mamak because it took me an hour to finish a hit maggi soup. Steroids reduced to 5 pills. Did two sessions of facial physio. Life goes on.

Week 3 (1st Sept – 6th Sept)

Had to travel to Japan and New York for work. Was worried but turned out everything was fine. Steroids exhausted. Did self facial physio on a daily basis. Chewing gum everyday.

Cheek muscle started to move. Not much but still an improvement. Left eyes can finally shut. 8k steps per day also helped.

GIRL’S BESTFRIEND CHEATED ON HER BF, DOESN’T KNOW IF SHE SHOULD TELL HIM

0

A girl shared how her best friend cheated and she can’t decide if she should tell her boyfriend or stay out of it. She also doesn’t want to lose her best friend if she does tell her boyfriend about it.

Here is the story:

My best friend told me she cheated on her boyfriend of 8 months….I have no idea what to do.

My (F22) best friend (F22), let’s call her Rosie, told me she cheated on her boyfriend (M25) of 8 months. Let’s call him Kevin.

My friend and I have been best friends since we were born and we’ve been through EVERYTHING together. I was super shocked when she told me what she had done.

She basically told me that she confessed her love for a guy (M22) and let’s call him Ron. Ron is in her school program and they hooked up a couple of times before she was in a relationship with Kevin. From what she told me, they confessed their love for each other, kissed, and slept together.

She told me that she’s only going to tell me about what happened and maybe her older sister to get advice. I asked her if she was going to tell Kevin and she said she was planning on it.

So, I reached out to her the next day and asked how she was feeling. She said that she hung out with Kevin last night and it was so great and so fun and that she loves him so much.

I then asked if she was going to tell Kevin. She said no. She said they’re so happy together, she really likes being with him, and that it only happened once so it’s not a big deal.

I am incredibly angry with her. Kevin is such a great guy and he does not deserve this at all.

I’ve also been cheated on and I would want to know right away if my SO was cheating. My friend doesn’t know how angry I am yet.

She’s one of my only friends and I don’t want to lose her, but I also think what she did is horrible. I can’t decide if I should just stay out of it, tell Kevin, or talk to Rosie about it more and how she needs to tell Kevin what she did.

Either way, I’d rather not lose my best friend over this, but it’s completely going against my morals and boundaries that Kevin is blind to all of this.
