My grandmother came back to visit after she passed

I would just like to share this story because it’s nice to think about. Both my grandparents had passed before I was born so never got to meet them.

I only ever saw photos and heard stories of what they were like. My mother told me this one story about my grandmother and it makes me believe in another place we go to after we pass.

So when my grandmother was alive, when she was going to the shop she would always say to the children who were outside playing “I’ll bring you back some sweets on my way back”.

Even though she didn’t have a lot of money at the time,she always gave them sweets before heading home. Her friend had a son and my grandmother would never miss going too his birthday party.

When my grandmother passed,her friends sons birthday came around. My grandmothers friend was folding clothes and when she looked behind, my grandmother was standing there.

Her friend said “what are you doing back (grandmothers name). My grandmother replied saying (im here too see (friends sons name) for his birthday”

Her friend said “you’ve seen him now, you can go rest (my grandmothers name)”

My grandmother then left. My mother didn’t hear about this story until a few years later because my grandmothers friend didn’t want too upset her.

I think my grandmother was hardworking and caring.

I’ve been together with my boyfriend for 3 years. Last year he graduated and found a job that pays him $3.5k a month. To be honest I was shocked that his salary is quite low. Because some of my friends and cousins are earning much higher than him. I often encouraged him to find a better job. I also asked him to take up some courses to improve his chances. I have been chatting with the investment associate for two weeks now. He would text me only a few times a day because he’s a very busy guy. Yesterday was his birthday so he told me he celebrated his birthday with his family at home.

After his birthday celebration, he suddenly said he wants to see me. At around 3am, he snuck out of his house and drove to my house to see me. I went down to the carpark to meet him and was quite surprised to see that he drives a luxury car and he looks even better in real life. We chatted for 2 hours in his car. He then walked me to the lift and even kissed me on my cheek. Although we barely know each other, I actually feel quite happy that he kissed me. When he reached home, he texted me to say that he enjoyed talking to me and he would like to see me again.

He seems like a really nice guy. I know I shouldn’t compare but my bf isn’t even that nice. And my bf is unable to find a decent job so I’m worried about my future when we get married. But my bf and I have been together for 3 years so our relationship is very stable. I feel like if I break up with him now, 3 years of my life would be wasted. What should I do? Should I just stick to my bf because he is obviously a safer choice?

Or should I continue to go out with the investment guy and then break up with my bf when the investment guy confess to me?

Hi. I just got together with my boyfriend for about 8 months, and I’ve not met his family only because i’m afraid to meet her mom because her mom is super judgemental.

Not sure why and it obviously made me super upset and angry. She managed to find my instagram and she judge me based on my instagram on how i wear and my physical appearance.

She thinks I am super materialistic even when i’ve got no branded clothing or bags etc I don’t wear make up very often except for special occasions only because we’re wearing mask and there is no reason for me too.

When my cat was just a kitten we decided to try and leash train him. He took to it well and it has become a daily thing we do. Take an hour or two and just walk around the neighborhood, sometimes even going to the park.

We have never had any big issues walking my cat, there might be a dog here and there but my cat doesn’t pay any mind to them.

My parents say that I should have stopped the little boy before he got to my cat but I expected him to ask before he tried petting my cat. I’m starting to think I was in the wrong.
