POLICEMAN SEEN IN VIRAL VIDEO SLAPPING & ASSAULTING CRYING MAN AT RESTAURANT

0

The power of social media in today’s interconnected world can expose both the best and the worst of society. In a recent viral video on X, a police officer’s assault towards a man in Malaysia stirred public outrage.

This incident, where the officer was captured publicly slapping and berating the man, raises questions about authority, accountability, and the role of social media in justice.

The Disturbing Video

The video, circulated widely on social media, depicts a police officer, without remorse, repeatedly slapping a crying man in an undisclosed restaurant. The officer, unrelenting in his brutality, is heard accusing the man of stealing and skipping fasting.

While the exact date of the incident remains unclear, the officer’s identity was revealed through a leak on Telegram. The officer, identified as a sergeant major at the Sri Gading police station in Johor, had his personal details disclosed. The leak emphasized the power of social media in holding individuals accountable for their actions.

Police Respond: Investigation Underway

The swift and widespread circulation of the video caught the attention of the authorities. The Johor Chief Police released an official statement on January 12, confirming the sergeant major’s position as the chief of the police station in Sri Gading. The statement asserted a commitment to taking necessary actions without compromise.

In response to the incident, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) urged the public to come forward with any information that could aid the investigation. The police assured the public that they would conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter, emphasizing their commitment to accountability.

The Role of Social Media in Justice

The incident highlights the pivotal role social media plays in shaping public opinion and holding individuals, even those in positions of authority, accountable for their actions. The viral nature of the video spurred outrage, prompting the authorities to address the issue promptly.

The act of a police officer resorting to physical abuse in a public space raises questions about the use of force, ethics, and the responsibility that comes with authority. The officer’s accusation of theft and disparaging remarks while inflicting violence further intensify the gravity of the situation.

The incident has triggered a wave of public outcry, with many demanding swift and transparent justice. Advocacy for accountability in law enforcement is amplified by the collective voice on social media platforms.

GIRL’S GRANDMOTHER DIED, THEN RETURNED TO WISH HAPPY B’DAY

0

My grandmother came back to visit after she passed

I would just like to share this story because it’s nice to think about. Both my grandparents had passed before I was born so never got to meet them.

I only ever saw photos and heard stories of what they were like. My mother told me this one story about my grandmother and it makes me believe in another place we go to after we pass.

So when my grandmother was alive, when she was going to the shop she would always say to the children who were outside playing “I’ll bring you back some sweets on my way back”.

Even though she didn’t have a lot of money at the time, she always gave them sweets before heading home. Her friend had a son and my grandmother would never miss going too his birthday party.

When my grandmother passed, her friends sons birthday came around. My grandmothers friend was folding clothes and when she looked behind, my grandmother was standing there.

Her friend said “what are you doing back (grandmothers name). My grandmother replied saying (im here too see (friends sons name) for his birthday”

Her friend said “you’ve seen him now, you can go rest (my grandmothers name)”

My grandmother then left. My mother didn’t hear about this story until a few years later because my grandmothers friend didn’t want too upset her.

I think my grandmother was hardworking and caring.

WOMAN OWES 16 AH LONGS $32K, SO JIALAT THAT SHE BORROW FROM AH LONG TO PAY AH LONG

In the face of tough times, the depths of desperation can drive individuals to extreme measures. A resurfaced video sheds light on the haunting experience of a 24-year-old girl trapped in the clutches of debt.

The Circulating Video

The focal point of this narrative is an old video circulating on X, revealing the girl’s admission to borrowing money from a staggering 16 loan sharks simultaneously. The dire consequence was her entanglement in a staggering RM32,000 debt, according to a report by World of Buzz.

What led this unnamed victim to such dire straits? Her desperation stemmed from the need to settle outstanding rent, pushing her to seek financial aid from loan sharks on social media. Unbeknownst to her, the help she sought came from an unlicensed dealer, imposing exorbitant interest rates on the borrowed sum.

Compelled to repay the borrowed funds on a weekly basis, the instalments proved overwhelming. Unable to meet the financial demands, the victim found herself with no choice but to engage additional loan sharks to cover existing debts.

The Tactics of Intimidation

As the debts piled up, loan sharks resorted to their infamous tactics—intimidation. The girl’s pictures were plastered everywhere with labels stating, “This person is not paying her debt,” adding another layer of distress to her already dire situation.

“I reached out to more and more loan sharks to help cover my previous debts. I ended up owing RM32,000,” lamented the woman, encapsulating the depth of her financial woes.

Silent in her suffering, the victim refrained from reaching out to her family, fearing the burden and stigma associated with her financial struggles. The revelation came later that the debts she accumulated were, in fact, a significant burden to her family.

In a 3-minute clip, PPIM disclosed that they successfully intervened, settling the debts for the girl. This episode underscores the critical need for financial education among the youth to prevent them from falling prey to unscrupulous lenders.

GIRL TEMPTED TO LEAVE BF BECAUSE A RICH GUY IS COURTING HER

0

I’ve been together with my boyfriend for 3 years. Last year he graduated and found a job that pays him $3.5k a month. To be honest I was shocked that his salary is quite low. Because some of my friends and cousins are earning much higher than him. I often encouraged him to find a better job. I also asked him to take up some courses to improve his chances. He already took up a few courses but he still couldn’t find a better job.

Recently, I was bored and downloaded a dating app for fun. Surprisingly, I matched with a lot of guys who seem quite eligible. I even matched with a lawyer and an investment associate. I have been chatting with the investment associate for two weeks now. He would text me only a few times a day because he’s a very busy guy. Yesterday was his birthday so he told me he celebrated his birthday with his family at home.

After his birthday celebration, he suddenly said he wants to see me. At around 3am, he snuck out of his house and drove to my house to see me. I went down to the carpark to meet him and was quite surprised to see that he drives a luxury car and he looks even better in real life. We chatted for 2 hours in his car. He then walked me to the lift and even kissed me on my cheek. Although we barely know each other, I actually feel quite happy that he kissed me. When he reached home, he texted me to say that he enjoyed talking to me and he would like to see me again.

He seems like a really nice guy. I know I shouldn’t compare but my bf isn’t even that nice. And my bf is unable to find a decent job so I’m worried about my future when we get married. But my bf and I have been together for 3 years so our relationship is very stable. I feel like if I break up with him now, 3 years of my life would be wasted. What should I do? Should I just stick to my bf because he is obviously a safer choice?

Or should I continue to go out with the investment guy and then break up with my bf when the investment guy confess to me?

BF’S MUM FINDS GIRL’S INSTAGRAM AND JUDGES HER ON HER APPEARANCE

0

Hi. I just got together with my boyfriend for about 8 months, and I’ve not met his family only because i’m afraid to meet her mom because her mom is super judgemental.

Not sure why and it obviously made me super upset and angry. She managed to find my instagram and she judge me based on my instagram on how i wear and my physical appearance.

She thinks I am super materialistic even when i’ve got no branded clothing or bags etc I don’t wear make up very often except for special occasions only because we’re wearing mask and there is no reason for me too.

She always have this assumption that I am spending her son’s money but I’m the working adult here and my boyfriend is still studying.

She assumes I don’t eat at hawker and only loves to eat at cafes because my IGS doesn’t post about it. BTW, I don’t even eat much cafe food.

I found out all these was because she likes to ring up my boyfriend and talk bad about me and when I heard them myself, I was overwhelmed, I am suppose to love myself but I actually felt crap about myself.

She don’t know me personally yet she attacked me. How should I deal this on my own, how do i overcome this?

Ultimately, I don’t want to be rude because afterall, if I wanna marry my boyfriend, She’s going to be my MIL.

BTW she does have over 5 IG accts, every block, she seems to have a new one stalking me.

COMFORT DELGRO OFFERS $1.8K BASIC PAY SCHEME FOR DRIVERS, CABBY: “I MIGHT AS WELL WORK MCDONALD’S”

0

ComfortDelGro, Singapore’s largest taxi operator, is pioneering a new approach to taxi driver compensation, diverging from the traditional hirer model, according to TODAY.

A Paradigm Shift in Taxi Driver Employment

Breaking away from the conventional model where drivers operate as hirers, ComfortDelGro’s pilot scheme introduces a full-time employment model. Under this scheme, drivers receive a fixed monthly salary of S$1,800 along with various benefits. Unlike the flexible hirer model, drivers working under this scheme commit to fixed driving hours, providing them with stability and benefits akin to traditional employment.

Key Features of the Scheme

  1. Fixed Working Hours: Drivers adhere to set driving hours – 11 hours for four days a week or nine hours a day for five days a week.
  2. Benefits Package: Full-time employee benefits, including annual leave, medical leave, and Central Provident Fund contributions.
  3. Additional Allowances: A S$50 mobile phone allowance and coverage of fuel costs by ComfortDelGro.
  4. Performance Bonuses: Drivers meeting daily key performance indicators receive bonuses, though the specific indicators are not detailed.

ComfortDelGro’s Perspective

The company acknowledges the diverse needs of taxi drivers and aims to provide options that align with individual preferences. The scheme aims to enhance driver availability, ultimately reducing wait times for passengers. This pilot initiative is set to run until the end of March, with ComfortDelGro planning to hire up to 50 drivers during the trial period.

Mixed Reactions from Taxi Drivers

While the scheme presents a novel approach to taxi driver compensation, opinions among drivers are divided. Some appreciate the stability and benefits, emphasizing the security offered by full-time employment. However, concerns arise about the adequacy of the S$1,800 monthly salary, with drivers expressing reservations about the risks and challenges associated with extended driving hours.

Several interviewed drivers, while recognizing the appeal of a stable income, deemed the offered monthly salary insufficient. 42-year-old taxi driver Mr Andy Kwan remarked that he might as well work at McDonald’s, where he can earn more than $2,000 pe month and even get free meals daily.

Concerns were raised about the demanding nature of driving, including potential risks and challenges during extended hours. Suggestions for a more competitive salary, considering the evolving economic landscape, were echoed by drivers.

WOMAN HOSPITALISED FOR 26 DAYS AFTER BRAIN SURGERY, FINAL HOSPITAL BILL ONLY $74

0

In a heartwarming testament to Malaysia’s healthcare system, Mr. Lee Vi Hua shared his family’s journey through a medical crisis on Facebook, highlighting the compassion and affordability he experienced during a critical time. This article delves into the details of Mr. Lee’s story, praising Malaysia’s public healthcare as the “kindest in the world.”

A Sudden Health Crisis

On December 15 last year, just two days before a planned family vacation to Japan, Mr. Lee’s wife, Vicki, experienced a sudden and severe headache. Alarmed by her symptoms, they sought medical attention, eventually leading to a diagnosis of a brain haemorrhage.

The doctor recommended an urgent brain coiling procedure, available at Gleneagles Hospital in Johor, but the estimated cost was a staggering RM150,000. Despite having insurance, Mr. Lee faced financial concerns and opted to proceed with the procedure at Gleneagles.

A Twist of Fate

Vicki tested positive for COVID-19 during pre-surgery testing at Gleneagles, triggering a transfer to the central government hospital in Johor Bahru. This unexpected turn led to isolation, complicating communication between the family.

Further challenges emerged as Vicki’s neurologist and the Gleneagles doctor were both on vacation. This led to a decision to proceed with surgery at the central government hospital, extending Vicki’s hospital stay and coinciding with her birthday.

After enduring these challenges, Vicki’s successful surgery brought relief to the family. However, the most surprising aspect awaited Mr. Lee when settling the hospital bill. To his astonishment, the cost for 26 days in the hospital, including life-saving brain surgery, amounted to just RM258 (S$74).

Comparing Affordability: Public vs. Private Healthcare

Mr. Lee expressed his gratitude, comparing the minimal cost at the public hospital to the RM2,500 (S$717) charged by Gleneagles for a three-hour stay. Even a CT scan at the private hospital cost RM1,500 (S$430).

In a jubilant tone, Mr. Lee declared Malaysia’s public healthcare system as the “kindest in the world,” emphasizing the exemplary care received at an incredibly affordable price.

KAREN MOTHER ALLOWS HER SON TO PET STRANGER’S CAT, GETS CAT SLAP THEN BLAME OTHERS

0

When my cat was just a kitten we decided to try and leash train him. He took to it well and it has become a daily thing we do. Take an hour or two and just walk around the neighborhood, sometimes even going to the park.

We have never had any big issues walking my cat, there might be a dog here and there but my cat doesn’t pay any mind to them.

The other day we had a little boy that looked about 10 come up to us as we were walking in the park. He tried to pet my cat but my cat slap his hand before he could even touch him.

His mother came running over yelling at me for allowing my cat to hurt her child and that he shouldn’t be outside if he is that reactive.

I told the woman he shouldn’t go up to random animals and try to pet them, other animals can do way worse then just a pop to the hand. She said she gave him permission to pet my cat and that I should be lucky she didn’t call animal control on my reactive cat.

My parents say that I should have stopped the little boy before he got to my cat but I expected him to ask before he tried petting my cat. I’m starting to think I was in the wrong.

Sounds like a karen to me. “She allowed her son to pet?” Wow, can i allow my cat permission to scratch you just because I gave permission?

GIRL GETS TOGETHER WITH GUY FOR FREE MEALS, FROM BF TO SUGAR DADDY

0

A netizen shared how he is dating a girl who openly uses dating apps in front of him when they’re together and refuses to sleep with him.

He added that she would rather give her virginity to a sugar daddy for money than to him.

Here is the story:

“What should I do with my GF who uses dating apps while we’re together?

I’m a 160cm guy, got rejected by females way too many times and it’s hard for me to even find a girl who likes me back.

But well, I somehow managed to find a girl who agreed to date me but she openly uses dating apps in front of my face and often talks about her chats with the guys on there to me.

She would ask me what she should reply to them and even screenshot their chats and laugh about them to me.

She would swipe guys in front of me and almost every swipe was a match. My friends told me to break up with her but how could I, when I really want some affection from a girl and it took me so long to finally get a girl?

Breaking up isn’t an option, because as long as she’s willing to stick with me, I’m willing to do anything, even if it means enduring seeing her use dating apps and sugar daddy websites.

She said it’s because I don’t have money to spend on her, so she has to search for sugar daddies.

I swear this isn’t a troll because I know it sounds ridiculous – but she’s a virgin and doesn’t want to sleep with me. She would rather give her virginity to sugar daddies for the money. (she’s not even poor so idk why?)

She even told me “you no money what, unless you have money then you don’t come to talk to me about it”.

I feel hurt but I can’t tell her off because she told me “It’s my choice if I wanna use dating apps, you can’t control me. If you wanna date me, you have to accept that I’m gonna use tinder and I WILL continue to use tinder just so you know.”

She’s obviously threatening to break up if I try to control her…. and I can’t break up with her because I really like her and it’s not like I have other options…..

She’s pretty, fun to be with and although she doesn’t treasure me as much as I treasure her, I don’t want to lose her just because she is still on the lookout.”

Editor’s note: You deserve better bro, she’s clearly using you for the free meals and etc.
