MAN’S WIFE DOESN’T LIKE IT WHEN HE HAS FUN, STARTING TO GET WORRIED

0

A netizen shared how he is worrieid because his wife doesn’t like it when he is comfortable or having fun.

Here is the story

My wife doesn’t like when I have fun, or when I’m comfortable. I’m seriously worried

Hey guys I wanted to talk about my situation. I got married 2 and a half years ago almost. We’ve been together for 7 years before that. We have a child together.

I wanna give context but I feel it would be better to let you guys ask questions so I’ll voice my issues. So if she comes in the room/house and sees me sitting/relaxing/playing Xbox she will start making chores for me to do and some times I’ll literally already have done them.

I use to do them all no question but the more I think about it the less I want to or feel inclined to do it.

For example she is not a morning person I usually take care of our son from 8am-12pm ish (which isn’t what we agreed on in the beginning and really is doing a toll on me not being able to sleep but she genuinely doesn’t care)

anyway this morning when we heard him get up she started barking at me to go get him (weird cause I get him literally every morning )

I tell her I’m tired and I get up I go get my son. My son has this thing where he pulls me in the crib and wants me to lay with him, and I complied , laying in the crib with him.

He’s smiling and giggling as we’re just talking to eachother, she walks in and says “You know your’re heavy and you can’t be laying in his bed ?” (Let me add she goes back to sleep after this so in my head you just got up to be mean to me ?)

I replied “well babe you laid in the crib w him 3 nights ago? Isn’t that the same” she then proceeds to tell me I’m the biggest regret of her life and should’ve never got married … why..?

She literally always tells me I do nothing and I do the dishes 1-2 times a day, I clean up literally every mess my boy makes like I follow him and clean as he’s playing cause she freaks out when she wakes up and there’s a mess from him playing.

Claims I should clean behind him as he plays to ensure a clean home… it’s like everything is an issue and nothing is good enough, mind you let me just add we are financially stable, I make the money and she spends it.

I really don’t know why she’s so disgusting to me.

Granted I have issues but I don’t hit her, I don’t cheat, I think I’m a good father, really can’t find out what her problem is . =[

Manna Pot Catering Pte Ltd was fined $8,000 by the Court today for multiple food safety lapses committed under the Sale of Food (Non-Retail Food Business) Regulations.

4 Food safety is a joint responsibility as food can be contaminated anywhere along the food chain. While SFA continues to be vigilant and works to ensure that regulatory measures are in place and properly enforced, the industry and consumers must also play their part.

5 Food establishments should ensure their premises are clean and wellmaintained, as well as adhere to proper food hygiene and food safety requirements. SFA will take enforcement action against food operators who do not adhere to food safety regulations. Offenders are liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $100 for every day or part thereof during which the offence continues after conviction.

6 Members of the public who come across poor hygiene practices in food establishments are advised not to patronise them and provide feedback via our online feedback form (www.sfa.gov.sg/feedback) with details for our follow-up investigations.

S’PORE’S 1ST MALAY WOMAN TO BECOME A COMMERCIAL PILOT, PROMOTED TO CAPTAIN

0

In the world of aviation, where the skies are often considered a male-dominated domain, a remarkable woman has shattered the glass ceiling.

Meet Farhain Abu Bakar, a 36-year-old trailblazer who had previously risen to become Singapore’s first Malay female commercial pilot, according to The Straits Times.

She had recently achieved the prestigious rank of Captain.

A Milestone Achievement

Farhain’s promotion to the rank of Captain is a monumental achievement, not only for her but for the entire aviation sector in Singapore. In an industry where female pilots make up less than 1% of the workforce, her ascent to this position is nothing short of extraordinary.

The news of Farhain’s promotion was met with jubilation, and her family proudly shared their congratulations on social media. A heartwarming picture of the 36-year-old pilot holding a balloon with the message “AYE! AYE! CAPTAIN Farhain!” captured the essence of the moment.

However, the most conspicuous symbol of her promotion can be found on her uniform – the four golden stripes on her epaulettes, a clear indicator of her new rank.

A History of Breaking Barriers

Farhain Abu Bakar’s journey to the pinnacle of her career has been marked by a series of groundbreaking accomplishments.

In 2016, she first made headlines when she became Singapore’s first local Malay female commercial pilot, a remarkable feat she achieved at the tender age of 29.

Her passion for aviation was ignited during her school years. She earned her private pilot license from the Singapore Youth Flying Club in 2004 while pursuing her education at Singapore Polytechnic.

Her determination and dedication to her dream led her to the Singapore Flying College, where she obtained her commercial pilot license in 2008 and instructor certification in 2010.

Before joining her current position, Farhain had spent about 5.5 years as a flight instructor.

MAN ASK WHY SIAM BU IS MOSTLY SO BROWN BUT PUT MAKEUP WHITE MORE THAN GHOST

0

My entire life I had heard stories about the beauty of Thai girls. From friends who had visited Thailand to travel guides, they all praised the beauty of Thai girls. But there was one thing that confused me; why do Thai girls put on so much white makeup if they are naturally so brown?

I had to find out.

When I finally visited Thailand for the first time, I was amazed at the beauty of the women there. Every time I looked around, I saw a woman with beautiful features. But what struck me the most was the white makeup that they all wore. It was as if they were trying to hide their natural skin tone and go for something lighter.

This made me wonder why Thai girls are so brown and yet they put on so much white makeup. I had heard that the sun in Thailand is particularly strong and that it could be quite damaging to the skin, but surely that didn’t explain why all Thai girls wear white makeup.

I decided to ask around and find out the real reason. Most of the people I talked to said that it was a matter of beauty standards. They said that in Thailand, the ideal of beauty is to be fair-skinned. This is why Thai girls put on white makeup and try to lighten their skin tone.

I also learned that this is not only a Thai phenomenon. Fair skin is considered to be more desirable in many Asian countries. It is seen as a sign of wealth and power. Darker skin tones are associated with manual labor and poverty.

So, it is no surprise that Thai girls put on white makeup in order to look lighter. It is a way for them to try and meet the beauty standards of their society.

However, it is important to note that this is not the only way that Thai girls express their beauty. Many Thai girls choose to embrace their natural skin tone and celebrate it. They use makeup to enhance their features and highlight their natural beauty.

GIRL SHOWS OFF HER FATHER’S ILLEGAL MONEY, BRAGGING ABOUT BUNGALOW

0

I recently met a siao lang, her bf is from our neighbouring third-world country. After she got drunk she assumed that she was above others and she assumed that she has the authority to insult others just because she got drunk.

She showed off that her father used to be in a triad gang and claimed that she is rich and can behave like a spoiled piece of crap.

After she got drunk she started to scold people’s parents as if she is one class above an ordinary Singaporean.

We reminded her that she is just a piece of manure without her father’s illegal earnings.

Her chin was thicker than an extremely obese girl and thinks that she is a chio bu but with her behaviour, she is nothing but a rodent or a farm animal.

Imagine how embarrassing it will be that the boyfriend to apologize on behalf of her spoiled behaviour. It did not take long for her to reveal her true colours, after she got drunk she wanted to behave like a gangster just like her father so she can intimidate others and expect to get respect in return.

But all she gets is nothing but embarrassment and reflects her upbringing.

Money cannot buy class, no matter where you stay. Whether you stay in a private estate or public housing your behaviour shows alot about what kind of person you and your family are and your upbringing.

Whoever married you is cursed to suffer from your abusive behaviour.

Once again money cannot buy class, even if you are Cinderella the way you behave shows the difference between a princess and a wicked witch.

There is a Chinese saying, the dog will always eat shit, you definitely are the biggest piece of crap in Serangoon.

One piece of advice for you, your family earn illegal money you just stay at home la, don’t be an embarrassment. If you offend the wrong people, people will report your family to the Police.

MONEY CAN NOT BUY CLASS

MIGRANT WORKER IN S’PORE INFECTED WITH FLESH-EATING BACTERIA, MOST OF RIGHT LEG REMOVED

0

In a harrowing tale of unexpected health crises, Amjath Khan, a 42-year-old migrant worker in Singapore, finds himself in a desperate struggle against flesh-eating bacteria, according to Berita Harian,

This ordeal has not only taken a toll on his health but also on his finances, with medical bills soaring to a staggering S$100,000 and counting.

The Onset of Amjath Khan’s Nightmare

Amjath Khan’s ordeal began approximately a month ago when he returned from a vacation in India. Little did he know that his life was about to take a devastating turn.

Shortly after his return, he started experiencing a mysterious and excruciating pain in his right leg. Concerned about his health, he sought medical attention near his workplace, where he was diagnosed with gout and prescribed medication.

Despite adhering to the prescribed treatment, Amjath’s condition deteriorated rather than improving. Frustrated and increasingly anxious about his health, he decided to seek a second opinion from another clinic.

A Turn for the Worse

About two weeks ago, Amjath Khan’s situation took a dramatic and terrifying turn. He began to struggle with breathing and noticed severe swelling in his body.

Alarmed by these distressing symptoms, his roommate immediately contacted his workplace director, Simon Kee, who urged them to call for emergency medical assistance.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Amjath received a shocking diagnosis – he was suffering from necrotising fasciitis, a rare and life-threatening infection caused by flesh-eating bacteria. The infection had already spread to other parts of his body, causing severe respiratory distress.

Amjath’s workplace director Simon Kee shared that the bacteria infiltrated Amjath’s body through an open wound, leading to this nightmarish health crisis.

Fighting for Life and Limb

Amjath Khan is currently undergoing treatment at Changi General Hospital (CGH), where medical professionals had to take the drastic measure of removing most of the tissue from his right leg to prevent the infection’s further spread.

However, the financial burden is overwhelming. Medical expenses have skyrocketed to nearly S$100,000, and Amjath’s insurance coverage is limited, offering only up to S$15,000 in support.

A Plea for Help

Recognizing the dire situation that Amjath Khan finds himself in, a migrant workers’ advocate is appealing for financial assistance on his behalf on Facebook. The need is urgent, with an additional S$25,000 required to ensure Amjath’s access to the necessary medical treatments and surgeries.

WOMAN CAUTION OTHERS AFTER INCONVENIENCE WITH VIET AIRLINES

0

Caution to people who wants to take Vietnam Airlines . We bought a connecting flight that is 10hrs long from Japan Narita to Singapore. Layover to be at Ho Chin Minh Airport.

Japan to Vietnam is 9.30am-1.45pm, original departure timing from Vietnam to SG is 4.10pm(plenty of time for transit).

Few days ago received an email that they have rescheduled the plane’s departure to 2.10pm?!! They then emailed us that the connecting flight will be missed as a result. It is very silly to sell a connecting flight and you request your customer to miss the flight and get on the next flight-which is on the next day(the only flight avail). All of us have work and we won’t be able to stay for an extra day at Ho Chin Minh city as suggested by them.

Their only solution was to take up the hotel offer and stay an extra day or have a refund for the latter which is only 65sgd. Enough to cover the flight ticket but additional luggage fees having us to fork out ourselves.

Truly a bad experience when the flight was amended by them but they show no means of wanting to help us to get on this “weird timing connecting flight”

4stars airline? Make sure the company carry out a 4star recovery service.

Please be careful that the same thing might happen to you too

Here is what netizens think:

  • Possible to take the connecting flight if ground staff assist. I had an experience where the flight from Singapore to KL, the plane departed 30mins late. The ground staff assisted those who were taking the connecting flight and I made it to the plane just in time. 10mins before departure.
  • This can happen for any airline. I have flown with Vietnam Air a few times and their staff is always very helpful and prompt, even when they reacheduled our direct and connecting flights. No problem at all for me, fortunately.
  • This is a risk you take when you decide to save a few bucks and do a multi sector flight instead of direct flight. As far the airline is concerned, you have 2 separate, independent journeys and they don’t ensure you can make both flights. It’s not a single journey with a layover… where the airline keeps you on board the plane or in the transit hall during your entire layover, and ensures you make both flights (either same or different aircraft).
  • U cld ask to take the same connecting flight but u have to request front row seat and ground staff to expedite/assists u at the gate to direct u to the next gate. Can be done but risky. But 1 thing for sure, ur ckin in luggage will not be making it on time

GIRL’S BF PROPOSED ON 22-2 AT 22:22 HRS, GIRL STARTS CRYING

0

Last night we were going about our regular programming of hanging on the couch, eating snacks and watching some tv before bed.

I reached over to hold his hand and it was incredibly clammy. I thought nothing of it really.

Then he pauses the show, gets up, throws his hand out and says “come on, it’s time” slightly confused, I get up and let him lead me. He takes me to another spot and say to “take a seat” I do and then he kneels down in front of me and says

“On this night that will never happen again (22/02/)

At this time that will happen again (22:22HRS)

Will you spend this life that will never happen again

Sharing with me this love that will never happen again”

Pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him

In my chocked up, tears steaming state, I said “yes!”

We shared so many salty kisses. It was the most beautifully intimate and thoughtful proposal I could’ve ever asked for. I love you so much!

For those upset by my title: the title was ambiguous for a reason. Crying doesn’t always imply sadness and if you’re upset that I tricked you or something because you wanted a sad story, you need to get over yourselves.

SOME DBS PAYNOW TRANSACTIONS WERE DELAYED, USERS COMPLAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA

0

In today’s fast-paced digital world, banking transactions have become smoother and more efficient thanks to online services like PayNow. However, even in this age of technological advancement, hiccups can occur, leaving customers frustrated and worried about their finances. Such was the case for some DBS customers who experienced delays and issues while using the bank’s PayNow service on a Tuesday afternoon.

The Unforeseen Disruptions

According to Downdetector, a platform that tracks disruptions and issues in various service providers, approximately 163 complaints were reported at 3:53 pm on that fateful Tuesday. These complaints shed light on the challenges faced by DBS customers during their digital transactions.

Frustration Mounts on Social Media

The frustration of DBS customers spilled over onto social media platforms, particularly on DBS’ official Facebook page. Numerous netizens voiced their grievances, with many reporting that they encountered a “Pending” message after making transactions. To add to their distress, the amount was deducted from their accounts, but the recipients’ banks had not received the funds.

DBS Acknowledges the Issue

In response to the mounting complaints, DBS took to Facebook at 6:02 pm on Tuesday to address the issue. The bank acknowledged that some customers had indeed experienced delays in their PayNow and Fast transactions. Fortunately, the bank’s technical team managed to rectify the issue by 4:30 pm.

DBS assured its customers by stating, “We would like to assure customers that their delayed transactions will be processed by today. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.”

A Troubled History

Unfortunately, this was not the first time DBS had faced service disruptions. On May 5, the bank encountered a 6½-hour disruption due to human error. And just a couple of months prior, in March, DBS experienced a 12-hour disruption caused by inherent software bugs. These incidents have undoubtedly raised concerns about the bank’s reliability in delivering seamless digital services.

Return to Normalcy

Despite the initial hiccups, there was a glimmer of hope for DBS customers. In an update posted at 9:05 pm on Tuesday, DBS announced on its Facebook page that its Fast and PayNow services had returned to normal at 7:40 pm. The bank reassured its customers that transactions affected by the delay were being processed. Further updates on the progress of these transactions would be provided in due course.

In conclusion, while technological advancements have greatly improved the banking experience, occasional disruptions are inevitable. DBS, like any other financial institution, is not immune to technical glitches. However, the key lies in how swiftly and effectively such issues are addressed. The incident serves as a reminder that even in the digital age, customer service and reliability remain paramount.

YOUNGER GEN PARENTS SPOIL THEIR KIDS WORSE THAN GRANDPARENTS

0

As a young parent myself, I can relate first-hand to the difficulty of raising a child. It is a hard job and can involve a lot of tough decision-making, but it is also one of the most rewarding experiences.

Unfortunately, it seems that many young parents today are spoiling their kids much worse than their grandparents did.

When my grandparents were raising their kids, they were much stricter and more hands-off. They had certain expectations for their kids and these expectations were often enforced. If a child did something wrong, there were consequences that had to be faced. The children were expected to work hard in school and show respect to their elders. My grandparents understood that there was a lot of hard work and dedication that went into raising their kids.

In contrast, many young parents today are much more lenient when it comes to raising their kids. Instead of making sure their kids are doing their homework, they give them free reign to do whatever they want. Instead of having expectations for their children, they let them get away with anything and everything. Instead of having consequences for bad behavior, many young parents just give in and let their kids do whatever they want.

This lack of parental guidance does not prepare kids for the real world. Instead, it creates a sense of entitlement in which kids expect to get what they want without having to work for it. This can lead to a variety of problems, such as laziness, immaturity, and an inability to take responsibility for their actions.

It’s not just the parents who are to blame for this trend. Society has changed significantly since my grandparents were raising their kids. We now live in a world where technology has made things much easier and more convenient. We are always connected to the internet and have access to a seemingly infinite amount of information. This has made it easier for kids to get away with things and it has created a society where kids have more freedom than ever before.

In addition, there is a lot of pressure on parents to be perfect. We are constantly bombarded with images of perfect parents and perfect families. This can lead young parents to feel like they have to give in to their children’s demands in order to be seen as a good parent.

Overall, it is clear that young parents today are spoiling their kids far worse than their grandparents did. This is a serious problem that needs to be addressed. Parents need to be aware of the potential consequences of their actions and make sure that they are setting the right example for their kids. They need to set expectations, enforce them, and provide consequences when necessary.

It is also important for parents to remember that parenting is a difficult job and not one to be taken lightly. It is not easy to raise a child, but it is one of the most rewarding experiences. By taking a more hands-on approach, young parents can ensure that their kids are getting the guidance and support they need to become successful, responsible adults.
