MAN STARVED DOGS TO DEATH FOR 3 YEARS, MORE THAN 1,000 DEAD DOGS FOUND AT HIS HOME

0

An elderly man in South Korea is being investigated by the police after more than 1,000 dead bodies of dogs were found in his home.

The grim discovery was made by a resident who was looking for their lost dog, when they stumbled upon the house with the carcasses.

Korean animal rights group Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE) posted a disturbing video of the dead bodies inside the house.

The group had visited the house, located in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi, South Korea; where the elderly man had allegedly starved countless dogs to death over a period of more than three years.

CARE said that the rotting dog bodies had formed a layer on the ground, and live dogs were kept inside cases on top of the decomposing bodies.

The dogs were also forced to eat other dogs that had died in order to survive, and CARE also found sulls and dead bodies piled up in various places throughout the house, including being stored inside barrels in the yard.

Miraculously, four surviving dogs were found inside the house among the decomposing bodies, with all of them suffering from either malnutrition or skin diseases, with two of them being in critical condition.

The dogs have since been sent to veterinary hospitals for treatment.

The Korea Herald reported that the grim discovery was made by a resident who lived nearby, they were looking for their lost dog on 4 February when they discovered the house full of dead dogs.

They then alerted the police who discovered more than 1,000 dead bodies.

an elderly man in his 60s who lives there, is being investigated by the police for allegedly violating animal protection law.

He had confessed to collecting dogs that were abandoned, and starving them to death; but CARE refuted his claims and said that he had received the dogs from dog breeders because they were too old or small to breed and their commercial value had gone down.

CARE said that the man was allegedly paid 10,000 won (or SGD$10,30) per dog to take care of them, and he then went on to lock the dogs up and starve them to death.

I CAUGHT MY HUSBAND BOOKING A HOLIDAY FOR TWO WITH ANOTHER GIRL’S NAME AND HIS

0

I had been married to my husband for twelve years, and I thought things were going great. We had our share of ups and downs during our marriage, but I thought we were in it for the long haul.

Caught him booking a holiday together with another girl

That all changed the day I caught my husband booking a holiday for two with another girl’s name.

I was cleaning the house when I heard my husband on the phone in the other room. I couldn’t make out what he was saying, but it sounded suspicious.

I decided to investigate and crept closer to the door. That’s when I heard him talking to someone about airline tickets and a hotel reservation. He was booking a holiday for two.

My heart sank when I heard him use a girl’s name. I had no idea who this girl was, but it was obvious my husband was planning a romantic getaway with her.

I stood there in shock as I listened to him make the arrangements. I wanted to confront him right then and there, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I was too hurt and too angry.

I managed to pull myself together, and I walked away from the door. I knew I needed to confront my husband about what I had heard, but I was scared of what I would find out.

I decided to wait until after he got off the phone to talk to him.

When my husband hung up, I went in and asked him what was going on. He had a guilty look on his face, and I could tell he knew I had heard him.

He told me he was planning a holiday for himself and another girl. He said he had been seeing her for a few months and that he was in love with her.

I was devastated. I couldn’t believe my own husband was betraying me like this. I wanted to demand answers, but I was too hurt to speak. I just stood there in silence as he packed his things and walked out of the door.

That was the last time I saw my husband. He never returned, and I never heard from him again.

A 41-year-old food delivery rider was killed following a fatal traffic accident involving two other cars along Hougang on Sunday (5 March) afternoon.

The 41-year-old was conveyed to the hospital after the accident, and he later succumbed to his injuries and eventually died.

Shin Min Daily News reported that the accident took place on 5 March at about 2.50pm at the junction of Hougang Avenue 8 and Hougang Avenue 4.

A witness who lives nearby the accident site, Mr Hong, told SMDN that he was at home when he heard a loud noise from outside.

He went out to see what happened and saw that an accident had occurred at the road junction, involving a black car and a white SUV.

Hong added that he also saw the motorcyclist lying down on the ground beside the two vehicles and appeared to be visibly injured.

Several members of the public were seen trying to render aid to the stricken motorcyclist as others opened their umbrellas to shield him from the rain.

His motorcycle was also seen to be about 10 metres away from him, such was the impact of the accident that purportedly sent him flying from his bike.

The driver of the white SUV, which was involved in the accident, told SMDN that he stopped in front of the traffic light at the time, wanting to turn right and drive down Hougang Avenue 4.

GIRL PREFERS HANGING OUT WITH GUYS THAN GIRLS, KENA SAY SHE LEAD GUYS ON

0

Since schooling days, I have more guy friends than girl friends because girl drama is just too much for me and guys are well just guys. They are simple and easy to talk to without having to think too much.

They are more direct and I like it because don’t need to mind my words

And they always say what they think and what they feel. No need to second guess. The only thing is when I keep hanging out with the same guy, people always think we are a couple and that is when the dynamics between my friend and I will start to change.

However the guy usually ends up catching feelings for me

I don’t catch any feelings but I can feel my guy friend will start to expect something more from me. And that’s exactly what I don’t want because I just want to hang out without any other distractions.

So when this happens, I’ll start to withdraw myself from this friend and move on to another.

My other friends say I’m very cb cos I’m like leading them on but wt-f I’m just trying to find a friend.

Is it my fault that they end up liking me and I don’t like them back?

Here are what netizens think

  • I think you can just make it straight to any of your guy friends first before you all move on any further. Some guys will inevitably fall for a girl if they spend too much time together.
  • I am like you, rather be closer to guys than girls. At least if the guy don’t like you or unhappy they will talk it out with you or show if on their faces. Most girls I know, no way they will do that.
  • You have the right to make friends with anyone you want, don’t need bother what others think.
  • Are you attractive? Maybe the guy close to you because hope behind can ‘F’ you.

MAHATHIR WARNS M’SIA COULD END UP “LIKE S’PORE” IN NEXT ELECTIONS, M’SIANS: “WE HOPE SO”

0

Since losing his seat in the recent Malaysia General Elections, former Malaysia Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has remained vocal in politics, and among his favourite topics to “kao peh kao bu” about is Singapore.

He warned on 4 March that Malaysia risks becoming like Singapore after the next two general elections, according to The Straits Times.

Soeajubg at a town hall dialogue on 4 March, the 97-year-old complained about how the Malays in Malaysia had lost control of the country’s economy, as well as their political power, according to Malaysian news media Sinar Harian.

Malaysia’s former ruling party, the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) first lost power in GE2018 before returning to power from 2020 to 2022.

They then lost again last year with their Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition falling behind two other coalitions and ceding the elections.

Malaysia could become like Singapore

Mahathir claimed said during the dialogue that Malaysia’s current government, led by Anwar Ibrahim, could make changes to the electoral boundaries and reduce the number of Malay-majority constituencies in favour of increasing the number of non-Malay-majority constituencies.

He said that this will change the existing government pattern in the next GE and “the situation will become worse” in the subsequent elections.

He warned that as a result, Malaysia could become like Singapore, within the next two elections.

Mahathir added that the Malay parties in the government are not in power, and he claimed that if Malaysia is not careful, “the next election will come and if the votes get bought off, we’ll elect people who are not good and they will mortgage our country.”

He urged the Malays in Malaysia to set aside their personal interests and party affiliations in order to take power back in Malaysia.

M’sians respond, say it’s good to become like Singapore

SPOREAN CONSIDERED APPLYING FOR AUSSIE PR TO MOVE OUT OF SG, BUT SCARED REGRET

0

Singaporeans who regretted moving overseas, let me hear your stories.

Considering taking a huge leap of faith to apply for PR in Australia. I’ve never even been there, but I don’t wish to be here.

Don’t bash me please. Better than being dead here. Let me know of any regrets you may have had and decided to come back.

Here are what netizens think

  • Lived in melbourne for 4 years for uni, visited Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Hobart while I was there. Honestly it’s not for everyone, I had a blast because I made a handful of friends I still hold dear.
But if you don’t like the culture or feel like you don’t fit it then it will be a challenge. It’s weird how you never visited yet you want to apply for PR? I suggest visit first and stay for a month to see how life is.
  • I’ve moved twice, to the UK years ago and recently to Melbourne. Moving overseas is hard, there is tons of paperwork to do, prep work for leaving the country and then finally settling down in the new country.

Obviously the cost is going to be high. Australian PR is 4k minimum if you DIY, can go up to 8k+ if you get an immigration agent. Depends on where you want to go, Sydney and Melbourne is experiencing an influx of immigrants.

Rental is hard to find and cost is going up. If you go further out in the suburbs then you need to buy a car. A decent used one is around 15k minimum.

Then, you need to establish a support system since you probably won’t have friends or family. This will take months or years to develop. If you run into problem and have no one to turn to for help, it can be depressing.

You will lose access to things that you are used to and routine that is comforting to you. For example, I’ll never be able to taste the 926 Yishun laksa as and when I want to, which is my ultimate comfort food.

All in all, it is a hard thing to do, I probably won’t do it again since I’m getting tired of doing big moves, but I’ve never regretted any of them.

FRIEND ALWAYS JIO ME THEN CANCEL ON ME FREQUENTLY, TREATS ME LIKE AN OPTION

0

My friend always asks me out, then cancels on me last minute. It’s like I’m always an afterthought to him, only around when it’s convenient.

I’ve been feeling this way for some time now, but I just never had the courage to confront him about it.

Can’t help but feel that I am only an option to him

I can’t help but feel like I’m nothing more than an option to him, a backup plan. He keeps asking me out, but then cancels at the last minute.

I guess he just figures I’ll just be around if no one else is available. I know it’s not intentional, but it still hurts.

It’s been going on for months now and I’m starting to feel like I don’t really matter to him. I’m always left disappointed and frustrated when he cancels on me last minute.

I’ve grown tired of feeling like nothing more than an option, an afterthought.

I finally decided I had had enough and decided to confront him about it. I asked him why he kept canceling on me at the last minute and he just shrugged it off and said he had a lot going on.

He didn’t offer any real explanation or apologize.

Decided to confront him and end our friendship

I was so angry at him and his dismissive attitude. I asked him if he even wanted to be my friend, or if I was just an option to him.

He said he was sorry, but he didn’t really seem to care. I was so hurt and angry that I just got up and left.

I haven’t talked to him since then and I don’t think I ever will. I guess I was just an option to him, and I’m okay with that. I’m better off without him in my life.

It’s a hard lesson to learn, but I think it’s one I needed to learn.

No one should ever feel like they’re just an option to someone else. Friends should care about each other and make sure to always put each other first.

I don’t know if my friend ever learned this lesson, but I’m glad I did.

BOY PUSH SISTER INTO WASHING MACHINE & LOCKS HER INSIDE WHILE MUM DISTRACTED WITH PHONE

0

A misbehaving young boy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, stuffed his sister into a washing machine at a laundromat while their mother was distracted with her phone, and it almost turned into a tragedy until a woman who witnessed the incident managed to alert the people nearby before the washing machine was turned on.

The woman, Azura Sapari, shared the incident on her TikTok page @azurasapari618, as she recalled what happened.

She was sitting inside her parked car that was facing the laundromat when she noticed two children playing around with the laundry baskets while their mother was busy on her phone.

She continued watching them and noticed the little boy opening the door of one of the washing machines and pushing his sister into the machine.

Shocked at what she had just witnessed, Azura then quickly got out of her car and alerted the people inside about what just happened.

The children’s mother then realised that her young daughter was inside the washing machine, as she rescued her daughter from the machine before reprimanding her son.

Azura said that the kids looked like they were about 5 years old or younger and that the boy probably didn’t understand the seriousness of his actions.

The girl who had been trapped inside the washing machine had been sweating relentlessly inside but was otherwise not injured.

MAN WHO WORKS IN BANK SAYS “OUTSIDE LOOK PRESTIGIOUS, ACTUALLY SCANDALOUS”

0

I’ve worked in the banking industry for over seven years now and I’m here to tell you, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. From the outside looking in, it seems like a prestigious and well-respected career path. But, I’m here to tell you, there’s a lot of scandalous things going on behind the scenes.

It’s not uncommon to find employees who are cheating the system or taking advantage of their positions. From back-room deals to taking bribes, I’ve seen it all.

There are also the people who use their positions to get away with questionable behavior. It’s not unheard of for people to be caught drinking on the job or engaging in inappropriate behavior with clients.

And then there are the late night drunken rave parties. They’re not exactly part of the job description, but it’s something that happens. It’s not uncommon for employees to blow off some steam after a long day at the office with a few drinks and some loud music.

I’ve seen firsthand how some of these parties can get out of hand. I’ve seen employees doing illegal stuff overseas, getting into fights, and even engaging in adult activities. It’s not exactly the kind of behavior you want to be associated with your job.

In my experience, the banking industry is full of people who are out for themselves. They don’t care about the customers or the people around them.

They’re out to make a quick buck, no matter the cost.

It’s also a competitive field. Everyone is out to get ahead and make more money. As a result, there’s a lot of backstabbing, gossiping, and other questionable behavior going on.

It’s not like the banking industry is unique in this regard. Every industry has its bad apples. But, it’s important to keep in mind that the banking industry is a lot more visible than most.

When you think about it, the banking industry is a prime example of why it’s important to be careful when you’re choosing a career path. From the outside, it may seem like a great opportunity. But, once you get a closer look, you can see how it can quickly become a cesspool of scandal and questionable behavior.

Stay true to yourself or you will get influenced into becoming a bad apple yourself.

FAMILY HAD A POWER-TRIP AT HOME & KOI FISHES DIED, SO THEY FRIED & ATE THE KOI FISHES

0

A girl in Malaysia shared how there was a power trip in her home which resulted in her family’s pet koi fishes dying, and her parents decided to cook their dead fishes for lunch.

The girl shared the incident on her Twitter page (@Nadia_Nazir), posting a photo of the fried koi fishes and captioning it:

“There was a power trip at home and Papa’s water pump stopped working for a while. Two of his koi fish died as a result and then he sent this photo. KOI BOLEH MAKAN KE? (Koi can be eaten?) WHAT IS THIS BEHAVIOUR PA”

According to her Tweet, there was a power-trip at her home, resulting in the air pump that is used to pump oxygen into the water for the fishes to breathe, to stop working.

Because of this, two of the family’s koi fishes died.

The father then decided to cook the dead koi so as not to let it go to waste, before sending her a photo of the fried koi fish.

The photo showed the fishes sliced into halves and fried until crispy, with the girl adding that her mother didn’t want to descale the fish and clean it, leaving it to her father.

Apparently she felt bad about removing the scales from the fish, but frying and eating it is okay.

The girl then added that her mother told her that the flesh of the koi fish was sweet, a little bit too bony for her liking but still gives it a thumb up.
