MAN SAYS TEMPLE GIVE HIM A GOOD DIVINATION LOT FOR LOVE, UNTIL NOW STILL SINGLE

0

I am a firm believer in fate. I always felt that some things in life are predetermined by the gods, and so I often visited a local temple for divination lots.

Divination lots tell me about my future

They are a kind of paper with a random number on it, and depending on what the lot says, it can tell me my fate in certain aspects of my life.

One day, I visited the temple and asked the fortune teller to give me a divination lot for love. I was single and eager to find true love, so I was hoping that the lot would tell me when I could expect to meet the right person.

To my surprise, the fortune teller said the lot was a good one and that I should expect to meet the right person within a month.

I was so excited that I ran home to tell my friends. They were all very happy for me and they said they could not wait to meet my future partner.

I was filled with hope and eagerly awaited the day when I could finally find true love.

However I am still single

A month passed and I started to worry. I had not met anyone and I was starting to think that maybe the divination lot was wrong.

I returned to the temple and asked the fortune tller what had gone wrong. He told me that sometimes the gods do not always give us the answers we want, and that I should not be so disappointed.

I was heartbroken and I could not believe that my dream of finding true love had been shattered. I felt like I was cursed and that I was doomed to be alone.

I returned home and tried to forget about it, but it was too late. I was still single and my dreams of love had been crushed.

I eventually gave up and resigned myself to a life of loneliness. I had lost all hope of finding love and all faith in divination lots.

I had trusted the temple and the gods, but they had failed me.

Now I understand that sometimes fate is not as kind as we would like it to be.

MAN ADOPTS KITTENS JUST TO FEED HIS PET SNAKE, SLAMMED BY NETIZENS FOR CRUELTY

0

A woman in Malaysia posted on Twitter, warning others about a man who had been allegedly adopting kittens to feed his pet snake.

The woman, @vvnloll, posted screenshots of the man, @syazuanism, responding to a tweet of another netizen who said she wanted to meet other people from the reptile community in Malaysia.

The man said that he and his friends “always go for free kitten adoption (or rabbit) for our snakes.’

@vvnlol said in her Tweet: “Yall, there’s a man in his late 20’s going around “adopting” kittens to feed his pet snake. Be careful! this is happening in Malaysia.”

The man then tweeted and asked netizens if there are any kittens or rabbits being “let go,” and that he would like to adopt them, to use as food for his snake.

He then posted an update saying he had already found a kitten for his pet snake “Helga”, who is happy with its new meal.

Netizens’ comments

  1. There people selling dead/live rats for feeding purposes. Not that it’s any less cruel but at least it’s no traumatising people who put in so much work to rescue and nurse kittens back to health for adoption. That’s just cruel to the rescuer and their rescue.
  2. This tweet is about the guy that’s going around LYING about “adopting” kittens (that people worked hard to rescue and nurse back to health) and then feeding it to his pet snake. Basically a scammer.
  3. I hope his pet will definitely take him as a meal soon.
  4. Gosh, imagine how many kittens he had fed his snake

RESIDENT SAYS A LOT OF PEOPLE CAN AFFORD CONDO BUT BEHAVIOUR ‘LOW CLASS’

0

I’ve been living in a condominium for the past few years. It’s not the nicest area, but it’s affordable, and I have to admit it’s been pretty comfortable.

A lot of low class behaviour

But recently I’ve noticed something that’s been bothering me.

I’ve noticed that there are a lot of people living in the condominium who can afford it, but their behaviour is very low class.

They talk loudly and obnoxiously, they leave garbage in the corridor, and even use the condominium’s club house toilet to wash their clothes.

That is not the worst, some of them even pee inside the condominium swimming pool, pile up their rubbish on top of dustbin at the ground floor lift lobby, leave their empty drink cans by the pool side and even use the poolside benches and playgrounds to hang their laundry.

It’s like they think they can get away with anything because they live in a condominium and have some money.

It’s really starting to get to me. I’m tired of having to clean up after them, and I’m tired of hearing them constantly.

I want to take a stand, but I’m not sure what to do.

Complained to MCST but was told no evidence because no CCTV

So I decided to talk to the condominium’s MCST. I asked if there was anything that could be done about the situation.

Unfortunately, the condominium’s MCST wasn’t able to do anything. They said that there was no CCTV in the area to catch footage of the ones doing all these.

The condominium’s MCST had tried reaching out to residents by putting posters in lifts but nothing seemed to change.

I was dismayed by this. I just don’t understand how people can be so careless and disrespectful of the property.

I’ve seen other residents in the condominium who are much more respectful, but it seems like the bad behaviour is slowly taking over.

It’s really disheartening to see how people can be so selfish. They think they can get away with anything because they have money, but that’s not the case.

It looks like the bad behaviour in the condominium is just going to keep getting worse.

MAN DIED AFTER BEING OVERWORKED, HE WORKED 7 DAYS/WK & EVEN CALLED BACK WHEN ON MC

0

A 44-year-old man, Sarawut Srisawat, who worked at a Thailand news channel Thai News Network, reportedly died at his work desk on 4 February after being overworked.

The company said in a leaked internal circular that they will be compensating his family, detailing their compensation plans for them.

BBC Thai reported that Sarawaut’s death was picked up by a Facebook page called Screen Off, which described how the man, who worked as a senior officer at the news channel, allegedly worked for 7 days in a row for weeks.

The man was a senior staff member of the company with 17 years of experience, and he was the sole person in charge of overseeing the program schedules of two of the network’s main channels.

Therefore it was difficult for him to find other suitable and qualified colleagues to stand in for him.

Even when he was on sick leave, the news channel still called him back to work to help produce programme charts for them.

In the leaked internal circular, it was revealed that Sarawut had died at his work desk of a heart attack, and he was only discovered to be dead the next day after a cleaner noticed him in an unusual position.

CPR was performed on him in an attempt to resuscitate him but it was too late, he had already died.

According to Thailand’s labour laws, working hours shouldn’t exceed more than 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week.

The Thai Minister of Labour, Suchart Chomklin, has since ordered an investigation into Sarawut’s cause of death, with the Labour Protection Department also investigating if he was given at least one off-day per week as required under the law.

They are also looking into if he had been forced to work overtime.

The Thai labour Protection and Welfare Department and the Social Security Office are also working to make sure that his family will receive all the compensation that they are due, which is a

  1. 50,000 baht (S$2,000) funeral subsidy,
  2. compensation of 70% of his salary monthly for 10 years, and
  3. pension payments from the Social Security Office if the investigation deems that he was indeed killed by being overworked.

PRC MAN THREATENS SON WITH SAMURAI SWORD OVER POOR GRADES, ACCIDENTALLY KILLS HIM

0

A man in Sichuan, China, resorted to an unorthodox but extreme method of disciplining his son over his poor grades at school and it went tragically wrong.

He was threatening his son with a samurai sword when he accidentally stabbed the 13-year-old boy, resulting in the child bleeding to death.

The man was reportedly unhappy with his son’s unsatisfactory Physical Education (PE) grades in school.

What happened?

According to the Sichuan news media outlet, Sichuan Guan Cha, the father claimed that he was trying to scare his child with the samurai sword into improving his PE grades because the boy only scored 18 marks.

It was reportedly the 3rd time that the man used the samurai sword to threaten his son.

However, he accidentally stabbed his son with the samurai sword after stepping forward in a momentary fit of anger, resulting in the boy bleeding to death.

The father was seen in CCTV footage calling the emergency hotline for help, but it was to no avail as the boy was bleeding too heavily, ultimately succumbing to his injuries.

The boy’s last words to his father were reportedly “Dad, I’m studying hard!”

The man’s actions were reenacted in court, and he claimed that he meant well with his actions, saying that he is not an evil person. He said that he did it with the best intentions at heart.

He was ultimately sentenced to 12 years imprisonment.

MAN COLLEAGUE’S KENA $100K FROM 4D, ‘HAO LIAN’ FINISH NO TREAT MAKAN

0

I was getting ready to leave for the day when I heard some cheering and shouting which caused a little commotion in the office.

Colleague kena first prize

My colleague had just looked at the 4D results and was showing off his wining 4D ticket with a huge smile on his face.

He had bought 20 big and 20 small, which came to a total prize amount of $100,000.

I was filled with envy and wished that it was me who had won the money instead. My colleague was so happy and proud of himself that I couldn’t help but be happy for him.

Everyone in the office was congratulating him and commenting on how lucky he was to get the first prize, something which many of us could not even get even after buying 4D for 10-20 years.

Promised to treat us dinner but act blur afterwards

After showing off his winnings, my colleague was so happy that he said that he would take all of us out for dinner on Friday after work.

He said that this luck does not come easily and he wanted to share part of his wealth with us as he believed that spending some of the sudden windfall from 4D away would give him good karma.

However, when Friday came, my colleague decided to leave without treating us all to dinner as promised. I couldn’t believe it.

He had promised us all a celebratory dinner and yet here he was, leaving without so much as a goodbye.

Did not expect him to be so stingy

As I drove home, I couldn’t help but feel bitter. How could someone be so selfish and stingy? He had just won $100,000 and if he did not mention about treating us to dinner then so be it but he had already said so and asked all of us out.

I couldn’t help but wonder if my colleague had spent all of his winnings already. I was surprised when I saw him at his desk, looking like nothing had happened the night before.

One of my other colleague then decided to disturb him, asking him when was the dinner.

He replied that he was busy and had to push the dinner for another day but every time when the date was nearing, he would always come up with some excuse.

It has been about half a year since he gotten the first prize in 4D, and the promised dinner has still not happened.

GIRL USES HER “GOOD LOOKS” TO GET FREE FOOD, SAYS HER “PRETTY PRIVILEGE” IS REAL

0

TikTok user @_erynamira posted a video of herself using her “good looks” to get free food in Malaysia, saying that “pretty privilege is real”.

She was later slammed by netizens because about a week ago, she said that she wouldn’t date people who are poor because “why would I want to have a hard life?”

She was seen in the video out and about in Malaysia, using a couple of pickup lines on a waiter at an Arab restaurant in Bukit Bintang and getting a free kebab as a result.

She was acting coy at a restaurant when she called the waiter over and used her pickup lines on him, asking him if he likes “satay” because she wants to “satay (stay)” with him forever.

She then asked him if he knows what her shirt if made from, saying that it was made from girlfriend material.

The waiter later returned to their tables with a couple of free kebabs for the girls, captioning her loot: “oh happy eh dapat free”.

Netizens’ comments

  1. Pretty privilege is when you don’t even flirt but you still get freebies. Most of the time it could just be you minding your own business and then the shop owner/cashier says “It’s okay, it’s on me.”
  2. Imagine someone gives food to you, and instead of thinking it’s because the person is generous, you immediately think it’s because you’re pretty. Quiet presumptuous, don’t you think?
  3. pretty privilege? more like ability to withstand own’s cringeness privilege.

Previously said she wouldn’t date poor people

MAN SAYS HE SMART LIKE ‘ZHU GE LIANG’, END UP HE’S ONLY A ‘ZHU GE’

0

I have a friend who thinks that he is the smartest man is this world, he often compares himself to ancient historical figures like Zhu Ge Liang, known for his intelligence.

However, he is only a Zhu Ge

However, the truth is that his so called ‘smartness’ was all self proclaimed.

He was not as smart as he claimed he was, as he always gets into trouble whenever he goes out drinking at bars and KTVs.

The reason being? He always think with his ‘kkj’ instead of his brain, just like a real ‘Zhu Ge’.

‘Zhu Ge’ is a mandarin slang for ‘itchy’ in case you guys don’t know.

Desperate to get a girl

In these pubs and KTVs that he frequents, he is always desperate to want to get to know girls and would always approach them inappropriately.

For instance, usually when the first time someone talks to a stranger, they would at the most offer a handshake and introduce themself.

However in the instance of my friend, he would directly put his arms around the female and introduce himself which obviously many of them finds it desperate.

After that, he will keep trying to force the girl to drink even though he was not really welcomed there and he would then try to kiss the girl.

Got into trouble because of this

Due to his ‘zhu ge’ actions, he has often got into trouble with many people.

Security will usually ask him to get out of the establishment and the girl’s boyfriend/friend/husband will usually come and scold him and always want to beat him up.

Despite all these, he still insists that he is very smart because he manage to eat the girl’s ‘tofu’ and still manage to get away.

His definition of eating ‘tofu’ is managing to hug them or at times still a kiss.

I don’t know how he can continue thinking this way and I just hope that one day when he gets into trouble, I won’t be beside him because I do not want to get into any sort of trouble especially if it is self brought upon.
