MAN POST THAT HE FOUND $2 ON ROAD, MOTIVE IS TO SHOW OFF ROLEX

0

I was walking to the store last week when I saw something shiny in the middle of the street. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that it was a crisp $2 bill!

This was a great find as I had never been a lucky one to find a note on the street before, so I quickly pocketed it and continued on my way.

But then I got an idea. I decided to take a picture of the $2 bill and post it on social media. I wanted to show off my new Rolex watch that I had recently bought, so I arranged the shot so that the $2 bill was below and my Rolex watch was placed on top of it.

I posted this picture with the caption “Look what I just found on the street! #blessed”.

My post was a hit! It got dozens of likes and comments from my friends and family.

Most of the comments ignored the $2 which I found and fixated on my Rolex watch.

They mostly commented on my Rolex watch, saying that it was a pretty timepiece and that I am lucky that I am able to get it as it is hard to get your hands on one now.

I felt super happy with all the comments and likes that I had received on my Rolex.

However, there were also a few people who caught me trying to do a mini flex of my Rolex watch.

They commented saying that I could have just do away with the $2 and just flex my Rolex watch by posting a solo picture of it.

Some even replied my post with photos of 6-7 Rolex watches telling me to grow up and not flaunt it subtly.

But whatever it is, it is my Rolex watch and my right to post whatever I want on my social media account so who are all these jealous people to comment.

INITIATIVES SUCH AS COMMEMORATIVE COIN TO COMMEMORATE LKY’S 100TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

0

According to an article by CNA, initiatives such as exhibitions and a commemorative coin would be launched sometime this year to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Singapore’s former Prime Minister, the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew

Mr Lee was Singapore’s founding prime Minister and also co-founded the ruling party, the People’s Action Party (PAP).

He was born on 16 September 1923 and passed on at the age of 91 on 23 March 2015.

Some Government agencies had planned to pay tribute to Mr Lee

Singapore’s Manpower Minister, Tan See Leng, while addressing Parliament mentioned that there were some Government agencies who came out with initiatives to commemorate Mr Lee.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) would be issuing a commemorative coin sometime in the later part of this year, to remind all on the values and vision of the late Mr Lee.

The National Heritage Board currently also have a travelling exhibition for the Founders’ Memorial which they will be developing to commemorate the pioneers of Singapore.

At a later part of the year, they would also be coming up with an exhibition at the National Museum to showcase key historical dates in Singapore.

Many community groups also came up with commemorative ideas

Dr Tan also said that many community groups also suggested ideas to give tribute to the late Mr Lee as the holds a significant place in the history of Singapore.

These groups felt that remembering the late Mr Lee and his contributions to Singapore was important and they also wanted to let the youths in Singapore be aware of who the late Mr Lee is and his contributions to Singapore.

Most of these youths were either not born or were very young when the late Mr Lee left the cabinet.

Certain business leaders also came up with the idea of starting a fund for private donations and these funds would be used for educational causes.

This was because education was something close to the late Mr Lee’s heart and having this fund would likely be a fitting tribute to the late Mr Lee.

SIAM BU GF MADE ME DELETE ‘LINE’ APP, SAYS GOT LINE MEANS ‘CHEATER’

0

My Thai girlfriend demanded that I delete my Line App. She said that having the Line app meant that I was potentially cheating on her with other Thai girls.

I had been using the Line app for months, and it had never been an issue before.

I had never even been tempted to cheat on her. But she didn’t believe me.

I mean come on when I first know her we also talked through the Line app, how come now she would use this to say that I am cheating on her?

She said that if I loved her, I would delete the app, and so I did.

I was devastated. It felt like a huge loss to me. I had been using the Line app to stay connected with my friends and family.

It was a great way to stay in touch with people, and I had grown to rely on it. But now, all my contacts were gone.

I tried to explain to my girlfriend that I wasn’t cheating on her, but she didn’t listen. She was convinced that I was up to no good, and she wasn’t willing to budge.

I was heartbroken, but I had no choice but to comply with her demands.

I deleted the Line app, and our relationship seemed to be back on track. We continued to spend time together, and I tried to be the best boyfriend I could be.

But deep down, I still missed being able to use the Line app.

A few weeks later, my girlfriend asked me to delete all my other social media accounts. She said that she didn’t trust me and that by having these accounts, I was still potentially cheating on her.

I was torn. On one hand, I wanted to keep my accounts and stay connected with my friends and family. But on the other hand, I couldn’t bear to lose her.

In the end, I chose to keep my accounts, and my girlfriend was livid. She said that she would never be able to trust me and that our relationship was over. I was devastated.

I had never wanted to hurt her, and yet I felt like I had.

I tried to apologize and explain, but she wouldn’t listen. She said that it was too late, and that I had broken her trust, and she was done.

We parted ways, and now I am feeling a little empty.

Well I guess at least I still get back my Line app and all my social media accounts.

MAN SAYS UNI STUDENTS WHO ‘DIE DIE’ MUST GO FOR EVERY CAMP LACK ‘LOVE’

0

I remember when I was in University, there was a small group of students who went to every school camp and event that we had.

It seemed like they were trying to get as much out of their University experience as possible. At first, I thought it was because they were the ‘cool kids’, but as time went on, I started to think they were lacking love in their lives.

It seemed like they were always looking for something to do, and they would go to any event or camp as if they were desperate to fill the void in their lives.

They would spend hours talking about the event and how it was going to be the best one yet. It was almost like they were trying to distract themselves from the real world.

This group of students seemed to be so focused on going to every camp and event that they rarely took the time to actually enjoy the moment.

They were so fixated on the future, that they were missing out on the present. I think that this lack of attention is incredibly detrimental for University students.

University is an incredibly important time for personal growth and development. If a student is constantly looking for the next adventure or event, they are missing out on the chance to really learn and grow.

This could lead to a lack of success in the future, as they don’t have the skills or knowledge they need to succeed.

The other issue with this lack of attention is that it can lead to burnout. If a student is constantly trying to keep up with the latest events and activities, they can quickly become overwhelmed.

This can lead to a decrease in motivation and enthusiasm, which can be detrimental to their University results.

Finally, I think that these students are focusing too much on the social aspect of University.

They want to know as many people as possible and show off that they know this or that person, but they are missing out on the chance to make meaningful connections with their peers.

This can be incredibly important for University students, as it can help them make valuable connections for the future.

It is important for University students to take the time to focus on the present and enjoy their University experience.

Going to every event and camp is not the way to do it.

Instead, students should take the time to enjoy the moment and make meaningful connections with their peers.

WOMAN WHO TOOK PRINCE HARRY’S VIRGINITY BEHIND PUB, SAYS HE ONLY LASTED 5 MINS

0

38-year-old Prince Harry, wrote in his memoir “Spare” about an explicit encounter that he had with a “beautiful older woman” many years ago, and now the woman has come forward and shared her side of the story.

The woman identified herself at 40-year-old Sasha Walpole, said that she was the one who took Prince Harry’s virginity in a field behind a pub and added that he only lasted 5 minutes.

She said that their tryst took place on her 19th birthday back in 2001, and said that it was “literally wham-bam between two friends.”

She added that she gave him a cigarette and helped him light it up, and after finishing their cigarettes, he started kissing her while wearing his boxers.

Walpole added that “there was no chatting, no words” and that they were away from the party for 15 minutes, but the prince only lasted 5 minutes “doing it”.

After they “finished”, she grabbed and slapped his backside, calling it “lovely and peachy”.

She is now working as a digger driver and married with 2 kids.

On the encounter, she said that it was not planned, but that it was “a little bit naughty,” adding that she first met him while working as a stable girl at the country retreat of King Charles.

Walpole said that she wasn’t warned about that encounter with Harry being included in his memoir, and that she “didn’t invite this”, but felt the need to come out and share her experience after his book was published.

MAN’S BUSINESS NOT DOING WELL BUT ‘HAO LIAN’ TO FRIENDS SAY BUSINESS BRISK

0

I’ve been a business owner for the past two years, and I’ve never been more disappointed in myself. I’ve been trying my hardest to make a success of my business but I just can’t seem to make it work.

Despite this, I still feel the need to brag to my friends and family about how “brisk” my business is. I know it’s wrong, I know that I’m not being honest, and yet I can’t help myself.

When I first decided to open my business, I thought it was the perfect way to make money and provide for my family.

I’d spent a few years saving up and researching, and I was sure I had the perfect business plan. I opened the doors with high hopes and expectations, but it didn’t take long for reality to set in.

Despite all my careful planning, my business just wasn’t making any money.

At first, I was determined to make it work. I worked long hours and put in every bit of effort I had. But nothing was working.

I was starting to feel like a failure and it was taking a toll on my mental health. I was getting more and more desperate, and I started to think that maybe the only way to save my business was to lie about it.

So, I started to pretend that my business was doing well and that it was growing every day. I’d tell my friends and family that I was “killing it” and that I was making more money than ever.

Of course, none of this was true and I knew it. But I was too embarrassed to admit the truth, so I kept up the facade.

I’ve been doing this for the past few months and I’m starting to feel like a fraud. I know I’m not being honest with my friends and family and it’s starting to weigh heavily on me.

I don’t know how much longer I can keep up this charade.

My business isn’t making money and I’m not sure it ever will. I feel like a failure and I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I can’t keep lying about it any longer.

It’s time for me to face the truth and accept that my business isn’t going to be the success I’d hoped for and that it might close down one day.

Netizens’ comments

  1. Some cyclists just creating problems and make our government come out with more stricter rules in future. Sooner all cyclists will be affected.
  2. Hope we can see some improvement on this matter, we keep on reporting and talking is not use , not much improvement. Headache.
  3. That’s why I always call them king/queen of the road. They always are right. even ambulance on emergency still stop at traffic lights, but these cyclists just go through…
