BF CALLS GF “BRO” WHEN THEY PIAK PIAK, GF SAYS “I HAVE LITERALLY NEVER BEEN DRIER”

0

my boyfriend (M21) keeps calling me (F18) bro, bruh or some version of that.
i know this sounds stupid but hear me out.

this is a very fresh relationship (1 1/2 months) and we are still getting to know each other and our quirks.

i actually didn’t have an issue with him calling me dude or bro before but it’s gotten to a point where it’s really turning me off.

i actually don’t mind bro, but he calls me broski, or broseph. i don’t mind it in casual conversation but he never uses any cute pet names for me, or even my name.

i joked with him saying he calls me that so much he must’ve forgotten my name, and he told me my name in his phone is broseph…

it’s gotten to the point where i’ll sleep with him and he will call me broski/broseph after and once during it. i have literally never been drier.

i’ve tried lightly mentioning this or asking if he has any cute names for me, to which he replies he can’t think of any. i don’t think i’ve ever heard him use my name, just bruh or broski.

i know this is how he speaks (he’s very articulate and intelligent but this is just his slang) and i don’t want to offend him by telling him that it rubs me the wrong way.

does anyone have experience with this? or know how to handle it without being rude?

VIETNAMESE WOMAN FROM JOO CHIAT TOOK MY FIRST TIME

0

I can still remember the day I lost my V. I was 18 and I was beginning to enjoy adulthood.

I gained freedom after I got into poly and I was eager to explore the world and experience new things. I had heard about the famous Jo Chiat road from my friends and had decided to check it out.

It was a busy road filled with people from all walks of life. There were Vietnamese food vendors selling food, store owners trying to make a sale, and of course, the occasional “prostitute”pok pok gei” looking for her next customer.

I was curious and decided to explore further.

That’s when I saw her. She was a Vietnamese woman, standing in a doorway, looking out into the road. There was something about her that drew me in. I don’t know what it was, but I knew I wanted to get to know her.

I approached her and asked if she was interested in having a drink with me. She said yes and we went to a nearby bar. We talked for hours and it became clear to me that she was not a “chicken”, but rather a woman who had just recently come to Singapore in search of a better life.

We connected on a level I had never experienced before and I knew that I wanted to be with her.

The next day, I asked her to come back to my place. She agreed and we went back to my apartment. We talked for a while before I finally mustered up the courage to ask her if she wanted to have S. She said yes and I will never forget what happened next.

It was a slow and passionate first time. She took her time teaching me the ways of love and I will never forget the way she made me feel that night. I had lost my V to a stranger, a Vietnamese woman from Jo Chiat road.

Here comes the problem, after we completed our deed she wanted $200. I was stunned and paid her up.

I never saw her again after that night.

I am now married to a wonderful man and I am so grateful to have found the love of my life. But I will always remember that special night with the Vietnamese woman from Jo Chiat road who took my V.

MAN PAISEI AFTER GF BROUGHT TUPPERWARE TO ‘DA BAO’ FOOD FROM BUFFET

0

I was out to dinner with my girlfriend last night at a buffet restaurant.

We were having a great time, the food was good and we were enjoying each others’ company.

We were having a conversation and laughing when suddenly she reached into her purse and pulled out a Tupperware container.

At first, I thought she was joking, but then she started to fill it up with food from the buffet. I was completely embarrassed. I mean, we were in a restaurant and she was taking home food in a Tupperware container. It was so obvious what she was doing and everyone in the restaurant was looking at us.

But she thinks that no one is looking at her!!!

I tried to play it cool, but I was really embarrassed. I mean, I know it’s not a big deal, but it’s just not something you do at a restaurant. I felt like everyone was judging us and I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

When we got home, I asked her why she felt the need to take food home with us. She said that she was really hungry and that the food was really good. I could understand that, but I still thought it was kind of silly.

At first, I was really mad at her, but then I started to see the funny side of it. I mean, it’s not every day that your girlfriend brings a Tupperware container to a restaurant. I started to laugh and she laughed too.

In the end, I was kind of glad that she brought the Tupperware. It was a funny story that I will never forget and it was a great reminder that sometimes it’s okay to break the rules.

Even though I was embarrassed at the moment…

MAN FIRED FROM JOB AFTER HE SENDS EMAIL WITH “COLORFUL ENGLISH”

0

I never expected the email I sent to my boss to cost me my job.

It wasn’t supposed to be a big deal, just a simple message expressing my frustration over being passed over for a promotion.

In my haste, I neglected to proofread it, and my boss had the last laugh.

The email I sent was littered with typos, bad grammar, and terrible punctuation. It was obvious that I had written it in a hurry, and the end result was an email that looked like it had been written by a primary school student.

Needless to say, my boss was not impressed. He fired me the same day, citing my “unprofessional” behavior and my “lack of respect for the company.” I was devastated. I had worked hard for that company and had been loyal for years. I felt betrayed and angry.

In hindsight, I realize that my mistake was careless.

I should have taken the time to proofread my email before I sent it, and I should have used a more professional tone. It’s important to remember that emails are a reflection of our professionalism, and even a seemingly minor mistake can have serious consequences.

I’ve since learned from my mistake and I’m now more careful about how I communicate in the workplace. I make sure to proofread my emails before sending them, and I take the time to craft my messages in a thoughtful and professional manner.

At the same time, it’s important to remember that even small errors can have a big impact. We all make mistakes from time to time, but it’s important to be mindful of the consequences of our actions. In this case, my mistake cost me my job.

It’s a lesson that I won’t soon forget.

GIRL RANTS WHY FAT GUYS LIKE TO WEAR TIGHT SHIRT, LOOKS LIKE A DUMPLING

0

I’m a local female (25), I don’t know why fat guys like to wear tight shirts, it looks like they’re trying to show off their little bit of muscle, but it just looks like a dumpling.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against fat guys, I think they’re cute and great people and all.

But when they dress in tight shirts, it just looks like they’re trying too hard.

It’s like they’re trying to show off what little muscle they have underneath all that fat, but the effect is that it just looks like a big lump of dough. It’s not attractive and it’s not funny. It’s just a little bit sad.

I think the main problem is that fat guys don’t realize how tight the shirt is on them, or they don’t realize that it looks bad. It’s like they’re not aware of how they look in the shirt and they don’t see the absurdity of their outfit.

Plus, I think it’s a little unfair that fat guys think they can get away with wearing tight shirts when skinny guys can’t. Skinny guys don’t have the ability to hide their body shape as easily as fat guys do, so it’s not really fair that fat guys can get away with it.

I’m not saying that fat guys shouldn’t wear tight shirts, but I think they should be aware of how it looks on them and make sure it’s not too tight. A good rule of thumb is that if you can see the outline of your stomach, then it’s too tight.

Plus, I think fat guys should try to dress in clothes that flatter their body shape and make them look good. There are plenty of options out there for plus size clothing, so fat guys don’t have to resort to wearing tight shirts that make them look like dumplings.

At the end of the day, I think it’s important for everyone to dress in a way that makes them feel good about themselves and that makes them feel comfortable. So if fat guys want to wear tight shirts, then they should at least make sure it’s not too tight and that it looks good on them. Otherwise, they’re just going to end up looking like a dumpling.

MAN GOES GEYLANG SAYS ‘CHICKEN’ TOO EXPENSIVE & ASKED FOR A ‘STUDENT DISCOUNT’

0

I was always curious about Geylang, the infamous red light district in Singapore.

I heard stories about it, that it was a dangerous place with all sorts of shady characters and activities.

But, I was determined to experience it for myself, so I decided to go to Geylang for a night to try.

When I arrived in Geylang, I was in awe. There were so many different kinds of stores, ranging from food stalls to massage parlours and the infamous fish tanks.

There were also lots of people walking around, from young adults to older folks. I felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but I was determined to explore.

As I started walking around, I noticed that the prices of the ‘fish tanks’ seemed quite high. I was surprised at how expensive things were, especially for a red-light district. I asked the vendors why their prices were so high, but they all just shrugged and said that they didn’t know.

At this point, I was getting a bit frustrated. I wasn’t used to such high prices and I didn’t have enough money to buy anything. So, I decided to try something daring: I asked the ‘chicken head’ if they could give me a student discount.

I was expecting the vendors to laugh at me or reject my request, but surprisingly, they obliged. They said that they understood the financial struggles of students and they were willing to give me a discount. I was so relieved and happy that I thanked them profusely.

After that, I decided to take advantage of the student discount and told the uncle I will be back.

Overall, my experience in Geylang was an eye-opening one. I was a bit scared at first, but I was glad that I went. I also learned that it never hurts to ask for a student discount. You never know if the vendors will oblige, so it never hurts to give it a try.

39 Y.O BUS DRIVER ADMITS TO CAUSING ACCIDENT BETWEEN BUSES THAT SAW 2 PAX INJURED

0

39-year-old Malaysian SBS Transit bus driver Mah Jin Heng, pleaded guilty on 6 December to one count of negligent act endangering human life.

He was fined $2,500 and banned for a year from driving.

He had failed to keep a proper lookout and collided with another bus, with the driver of the second bus losing control of his vehicle and stepping on the accelerator, resulting in a collision with a third bus.

A passenger from the second bus and another passenger from the third bus were injured.

What happened?

The incident happened on 27 November last year at about 10.05 pm, Mah was reversing his bus (service number 88) out of the berth at Pasir Ris Bus Interchange.

At the same time, bus 17 was driving behind bus 88 perpendicularly, and from Mah’s point of view, he saw bus 17 approaching his bus from behind on the left.

The third bus (bus 5) was not moving and stationary on the right side of Mah’s bus 88 and waiting for him to finish reversing.

Mah checked his rear but didn’t notice any vehicle on his left before reversing, as he focused on the right side of his bus, failing to keep a proper lookout for oncoming vehicles on his left.

Bus 17 thought that 88 would stop because bus 17 had the right of way, and proceeded to drive up behind bus 88, but Mah didn’t notice bus 17 on his left and collided with it.

Bus 17 then lost control and the driver then stepped on the accelerator, driving forward and colliding with bus 5 from behind.

A 57-year-old woman on bus 17, who was seated on the lower deck, fell onto the floor when the bus collided with bus 5.

The window beside her seat shattered and some pieces of the class were stuck inside her feet, and she later sought medical attention from a private clinic.

Another 22-year-old man from bus 5, who was standing on the upper deck, fell down during the crash and injured his back and wrist.

WOMAN STOPS TAKING BIRTH CONTROL AND HER WEIGHT SPIRALS OUT OF CONTROL

0

I was always around 60kg in poly. I was also on birth control and spironolactone for PCOS.

I stopped taking both pills in March 2021 and by May 2021 I had gained about seven kilograms. It is now December of 2022 and I’m up 23 kilograms and now weighing over 90kg!!!

I’m honestly just so lost on what to do. My doctors have tested me for thyroid and other problems and they say everything looks normal. They just recommend I diet and go to the gym (of course, I don’t think they recommend anything else LOL) but I was never a diet or gym person.

I didn’t play sports in school, never went to the gym, and def didn’t diet and I never gained weight. I started taking birth control again sometime in 2021 and didn’t see any big changes. I just started the spironolactone again but I’m still not seeing a steadying in my weight.

I looked up the side effects of quitting spironolactone and a lot of other women have had the same experience (gaining extreme amounts of weight).

But how do I fix this???

I don’t eat salads every day but I don’t eat out often or eat very unhealthy meals at home, so doctors telling me to diet confuses me. And I’m a uni student so I walk to class (about 1km there and back) everyday. I could maybe walk around a little more, but I feel like that won’t help.

Sorry this is so long but I just want to explain the full story.

Hopefully someone can help! I’m to the point of having breakdowns every time I look into the mirror because no matter what I try, the weight is still coming on. I wouldn’t be as upset if I stopped gaining weight, but it’s like I gain 2-3 kilograms every month STILL. please help your girl out.

NSF FIREFIGHTER DIES AFTER FALLING UNCONSCIOUS WHEN FIGHTING FIRE AT HENDERSON RD

A fire took place earlier today and a firefighter who was trying to put a stop to the fire became unconscious.

He was send to Singapore General Hospital and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Shorlty after the update of the NSF firefighter’s death, Singapore Civil Defence Force updated their Facebook page logo to a black and white version.

Here is what SCDF said on Facebook

SCDF was alerted to a fire at 91 Henderson Road at about 11.10 am today (8 Dec 2022).

Upon arrival, the fire was raging inside a unit on the 4th floor and the corridor was heavily smoke-logged. SCDF firefighters, donning breathing apparatus, entered and pushed through the smoke-logged unit with two water jets to engage the fire.

Sometime into the firefighting operation, a Full-time National Serviceman (NSF) firefighter fell unconscious in the kitchen area. His crew immediately brought him out of the unit and administered cardio-pulmonary resuscitation on him. An SCDF ambulance crew at the scene also used the automated external defibrillator on him and conveyed him to Singapore General Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

SCDF and his teammates are very saddened by his death, and extend our deepest condolences to his family. The NSF firefighter was part of the first response crew for this fire incident, and was bravely carrying out his mission of protecting and saving lives and property.

SCDF is providing assistance and support to the family during this difficult time.

Investigations are ongoing.

GUY & COUSIN ‘PIAK’ ALREADY FEEL GUILTY, BUT DON’T WANT TO STOP

0

This happened about a few weeks ago but I have to get this off my chest. At a family gathering this year, I had ‘relations’ in bed with my cousin.

My cousin is considered a distant cousin, is a year younger than me, pretty and hot.

It all happened so fast. We have been flirting and teasing each other since our families became closer and it was hard to resist the temptation, which was stupid in hindsight. We got really carried away one evening while everyone else was watching football and before we knew it, it had happened.

Needless to say, it wasn’t the smartest thing I’ve ever done and I’m still trying to figure out what to do next. It’s complicated because our families have became so close and it could create a lot of drama if anyone found out.

So for now, all I can do is keep what happened between us a secret and try to move on.

To be honest, I really enjoyed having ‘relations’ with her.

She was really wild and willing to try and experiment a lot of new things.

However, even though I do not regret it and really want to do it again, I also want to acknowledge that what I did was wrong on moral and social grounds.

But it seems like I am developing a genuine interest for her, and she also wants to continue this messed up relationship with me.

We know our families will never approve of it so we have no choice.
