CROCODILE SEEN IN WATERS @ WEST COAST PARK, NPARKS ADVISES PUBLIC TO STAY CALM

0

A video emerged online on the Singapore Wildlife Sightings Facebook group, showing a crocodile being spotted in the waters off West Coast Park, as reported by MustShareNews.

The crocodile was seen under what appears to be a jetty, and the National Parks Board is monitoring the area for public safety.

The scales and snout of the crocodile could be seen as the netizen zoomed in on his camera, as it swam across the jetty.

What appears to be the teeth of the crocodile could also be seen in the close-up shot of the reptile, along with its long jagged tail.

The Straits Times reported that NParks has since put up warning signs at West Coast Park after the sighting of the saltwater crocodile.

The public is advised to stay calm and back away slowly if they encounter the crocodile, and not approach, provide or feed the reptile.

They are monitoring the area and will continue to keep a close watch on the situation.

Following the emergence of a Grabfood customer who accused a Grab deliverywoman of being racist towards him, Grab has since responded to the incident.

In a screenshot of a comment, Grab said “Hi there, we are genuinely sorry for the experience. We have responded to your DM and will communicate with you there”.

The netizen who posted the original post on Facebook, Amritpal Singh, then replied while tagging Wake Up Singapore in the comments.

He said: “Grab contacted me and apologised. They offered to send me cupcakes again. I refused the cupcakes or any refund.”

He added: “I just want her (the delivery woman) to learn that such a thing is not how a service is delivered. Especially using a racial slur. And an apology from her.”

He also said “If I do not get an apology from her or any updates from Grab, a police report will be made. I am resorting to this here because Grab helpline not chatting with them online helped me as they say they can’t help with this issue.”

PASSENGERS FLED PLANE AFTER PREGNANT WOMAN FAKED LABOR TO FORCE EMERGENCY LANDING

0

A pregnant woman had purportedly faked being in labour on board a flight from Morocco to Istanbul, forcing an emergency landing at the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, according to CBS News.

14 passengers then fled the plane after it landed in Barcelona, and the Spanish police are currently in the midst of searching for them.

The Catalonia authorities said that the incident took place on board a Pegasus Airlines flight from Casablanca Morocco to Istanbul, and there were 228 passengers on board at the time.

Officials said that 27 passengers left the plane without authorization and tried to “flee” upon the emergency landing, with the police stopping 13 of them.

The other 14 passengers who managed to escape, had eluded the airport and remain at large.

The pregnant woman who faked being in labour, has since been detained on charges of public disorder after she was determined by doctors at a hospital that she was not about to give birth.

Of the 13 passengers who were stopped by the police, 5 of them agreed to return to the plane and resume their flight to Istanbul while the other 8 were processed for non-admission into Spain.

We strongly urge the public to keep their homes safe from electrical fires with the following fire safety advisories:

a) Never overload electrical outlets with electrical appliances;

b) Always switch off appliances when they are not in use;

c) Check the condition of wires regularly. Frayed wires or cracked cords should be replaced or repaired immediately;

MALAYSIAN ‘GODDESS’ SAYS NO HOT POT IF YOU WANT A BODY LIKE HER

0

Malaysian influencer and pianist Cathryn Li, who is known as the “Piano Goddess,” recently shared her secret to maintaining her figure: eating a strict diet that consists of no desserts, no barbecue, and no hot pot.

Li’s meals, which she often showcases on Instagram, typically include quinoa, corn, broccoli, eggs, asparagus, and lean meats like beef and chicken. According to Li, she has been following this diet for the past five years.

In a recent Instagram post, she wrote, “Persistence for five years is no longer called persistence, it’s a habit.”

“I’m not fond of sweet foods. I only eat hot pot once every two months and barbecue once a year.”

In 2019, She faced backlash for stating that women who wear a size M and above are fat.

In an Instagram Story to her millions of followers, she wrote, “In Asia, S means M, M means L. Anything above M is as sinful as obesity.

If you are size six and above, please stop eating and move your a** to the gym already.”

She apologized soon after, acknowledging that her statement was “highly offensive and insensitive.” She added, “With over a million followers, I know that I am responsible for the content of the posts I share. I am deeply sorry for the hurt, anger, and disappointment I have caused you [all].”

GF FORCES BF TO GET ‘BOYZILIAN’ WAXING OR SHE WON’T PLAY HIS ‘LOLLIPOP’

0

My boyfriend and I had been together for almost two years and I thought that I knew him inside and out. We had a great relationship, but there was one thing that had always been an issue between us—his hygiene.

He was an incredibly sweet, kind, and funny person, but he was not the best when it came to taking care of himself.

There I was, standing in the bathroom, looking at my boyfriend with a mix of shock and disgust. I had just asked me to go for a ‘boyzilian’ waxing or else I wouldn’t go down on him.

He’d always had a bit of a problem with the hair down there. It wasn’t like he had a full-on bush, but it was more than I could handle. I’d tried having conversations about it, but he’d just brush it off or make a joke. I’d even offered to help him shave it, but he’d always refused.

I was starting to get to the point where I was ready to call it quits. I’d put up with it for too long, and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I knew that I deserved better and that I should just walk away. But then something changed.

One day, he surprised me by asking me to go down on him. I was shocked and a little bit scared. I was scared because I knew that the hair down there was going to be a problem. I decided to take a risk and tell him that I would go down on him, but only if he got a Brazilian wax.

At first, he was a bit taken aback. He’d never heard of such a thing, but I explained that it was a way to get rid of all the hair down there. He was hesitant at first, but eventually, he agreed to do it. I had to give him a lot of encouragement and remind him that it was the only way I was going to do what he wanted.

A few days later, he returned from the salon with a huge grin on his face. He was so proud of himself for taking the plunge and getting the waxing done. I was so relieved that he was finally taking care of himself and that I wouldn’t have to worry about the hair down there anymore.

The experience of going down on him after the wax was incredible. It was so much smoother and I could really focus on the pleasure. It was a totally different experience and it made me realize how much better it is when you take the extra step to take care of yourself.

MAN SAYS HE REFUSE TO SUPPORT HIS GF WHO IS WORKING AS A HOSTESS IN PUBS

0

My girlfriend of 4 months is in a really tough spot right now. She is broke and needs to pay her rent asap.

She became homeless after her parents chased her out for some problems.

I pay for everything in our relationship (she offers to pay for little things when she has it) but it’s rare. She’s been extremely overwhelmed and has been snappy/lashing out at me a lot. It’s causing a great deal of stress in our relationship and I’m mentally exhausted by it.

Fortunately, I’m financially secure with a stable career which is why I always pay for things and have offered to help her out. I know she won’t accept my help in this way, but I really don’t like how all of this is affecting us. I feel really bad for her but I also need to look out for myself. She’s not actively trying to find a job or a career path which bothers me.

She’s a pub hostess and says she will just need to start working more.

I wish she had a long-term goal or plan for a more stable job. I’m doing my best to support her through this difficult time but I don’t like how unmotivated she is. I can’t see myself being with someone who is this messy, but I love her so much and truly want the best for her.

The thing is I don’t want her to make this a long time job and I hope she will get a proper job soon. I don’t to be her walking ATM.

I don’t know what to do.

WOMAN REFUSES MAN’S INVITATION FOR A DRINK SO HE THREW BISCUIT IN HER FACE

UPDATE 10 Dec 2022, Attacker Drake Yap

08 Dec 2022, Thursday Cuppage Plaza @ Orchard

!!! Please help me to Share !!!

Went for a night out at Cuppage Plaza. 4 of us girls were minding our own business when this guy (black tee with white wordings) came to us from the bar beside ours and asked if we wanted to drink sake, presumably asking us to join him & his friend for drinks. We declined, he walked off, we went on with our night.

Some 30 mins later, I was hit on the side of my face by a hard object thrown from behind me. It felt somewhat like a filled plastic bottle which caused me to feel a sting on my face due to the impact.

Full Video Loading…

It was a hard throw.

Turns out this guy bought a Yan Yan biscuit from 7-11 which he threw at us while shouting “WOOOO” thinking it was funny. I felt pain on my cheek, lucky for me it didn’t hit my eyes else it could’ve been worse. It can be easily assumed that he attacked us due to being rejected earlier and can’t seem to take it like a man.

One of my gfs went up to confront him first while we followed cause the rest of us was in shock; it all happened so fast. His friend (covered face) stood in between while calming us down & pleaded with us not to call the police while the perpetrator stood behind him like a coward, smirking and taunting us (video 3) from behind without saying a word the entire time. He did not apologise AT ALL.

The perpetrator ran away (WHAT A LOSER) just as the police was seen from afar, leaving his poor friend with us and the police. They tried looking for him but to no avail as of last night after statements were taken.

Posting this so that the whole SG can see the face of a coward and a bully who cannot handle rejection and had to get physical. If anyone happens to know him, please PM me.

MAN LEFT SCHOOL THINKING HE CAN BE LIKE MARK ZUCKERBERG OR BILL GATES, ENDS UP POOR

0

I was the kind of kid who always thought I could be the next big tech mogul.

I was inspired by the success stories of Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates and wanted to follow in their footsteps. So I left school at a young age to pursue my dreams of becoming a tech mogul.

Nothing but a dream

Little did I know that I was in for a rude awakening. When I left school, I had no idea how to make money. I had no experience in coding or tech development, so I ended up taking low-paid jobs to make ends meet. I was working long hours for very little pay and it was a harsh reality to face.

I realized that I had made a mistake in leaving school in pursuit of my tech dreams. Without any formal education or training, I was limited in the kinds of jobs I could take. Most tech companies wanted experienced coders and developers, so I was out of luck.

I also found that the life of a tech mogul wasn’t as glamorous as I thought it would be. I was working long hours and not making much money. I was barely scraping by and it was a tough way to live. I was far from the life of luxury I had envisioned for myself.

I eventually realized that I was never going to become the next Mark Zuckerberg or Bill Gates. I had wasted my time and energy trying to be something I wasn’t. I needed to accept the fact that I wasn’t going to become a tech mogul and that I needed to focus on more realistic goals.

So I decided to go back to school and get an education. I enrolled in an IT course and started learning the basics of coding and software development. I also had to work part-time to pay my bills, but I was able to save enough money to eventually get a job in the tech industry.

Now, I’m finally able to appreciate the success of Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates. I can look back on my experience and understand that I was never going to be like them. I was never meant to be a tech mogul, but I can still work in the industry and make a comfortable living.

I’m thankful that I had the courage to chase my dreams but also wise enough to know when to accept reality. I’m now living a much more stable and secure life than I ever would have as a tech mogul. I’m able to pay my bills and support myself without having to worry about the future.

So if there’s any advice I can give to anyone else who dreams of being the next tech mogul, it’s this: Don’t be afraid to chase your dreams, but also be realistic about what you can achieve. You may never become the next Mark Zuckerberg or Bill Gates, but you can still find success in the tech industry.
