MAN CUT TIES WITH HIS “PRINCESS SISTER” CAUSE SHE IS A GOLD DIGGER

0

My sister is 28. She has had a large dating history and oftentimes breaks up with these great men because she believes she can find better.

A lot of it is due to the fault of our parents for spoiling her and telling her how special she is. She is beautiful, but by no means is she the supermodel she sees herself as.

Today, she complained that she’s been single for a while and dating has been so hard because no one has been able to reach her standards. Her last boyfriend was a lawyer, who was successful and proposed to her.

She rejected him because she thought she could find better. She even said that “she doesn’t really care about how sad these guys are after she dumps them.” She even keeps her options open while she has a boyfriend to make sure she can get the best guy out there. Her last boyfriend loved her, and she cheated on him with a rich guy who had a yacht.

She later found out that he was renting the yacht and it wasn’t actually his so she didn’t dump her boyfriend for him. That’s just some of the many horrible things she has done to her ex’s

She said today that she is “ afraid of being alone. All her friends are getting married, and no one is good for her and that she’s worried about being single forever.” I told her,” you should be, you think you’re better than you actually are and you only care about yourself. In my opinion, you’re better off being single than hurting people for your own self-interest. You’re a terrible person, a gold digger, and don’t be surprised when you end up with some abuser who treats you like an escort when you treat men like an ATM.

Im glad you’re feeling this so maybe you’ll have some remorse for your horrible actions. “

She was shocked to hear my response. As well as my parents and brother. My mom told me to apologize and I said “no. She deserves this. It’s your fault for not speaking up earlier and that’s why she’s like this. You guys enabled her behaviour for far too long and that’s why she’s such a horrible person. Enjoy dinner with your princess daughter.”

I left and haven’t spoken to them since. I plan on not speaking to my sister in the near future because I want to protect my reputation by not associating with her.

GUY TOOK GIRL TO WATCH MOVIE BUT BUY WRONG TICKETS, END UP SIT OPPOSITE SIDE OF CINEMA

0

A netizen shared how he “rented” a date from a website called Rent Babe and brought the girl to watch a movie with him.

However, he didn’t buy the tickets in advance and when they got to the cinema, they couldn’t get tickets for side by side seats and ended up sitting on the opposite sides of the cinema, far away from each other.

Here is what he said

FML FML

Rented a date from rentbabe, were going to watch a movie but didnt buy the tickets in advance.

Couldnt get two tickets next to each other so we ended up sitting opposite sides of the cinema. The movie ended and we were like, ok bye

Netizens’ comments

  • Cannot sit together then watch something else lah! Or go cafe-hopping lah! Walau eh! Now you make me wish she’ll post her experience online here.
  • Isn’t it better and cheaper to just go to the movie alone and imagine that your ‘date’ is on the other side of the theater?
  • Free movie + free money. Her best rentababe gig ever. Don’t even need to entertain much got money get liao

S’PORE GIRL DATING FOREIGNER, WHO LETS SPIDERS ROAM AROUND HIS HOME TO KILL INSECTS

0

I’m 25F, dating a foreign guy who is 3 years older for about a year now. He is great – tall, handsome, works out reguarly, takes care of me, is attentive, great career and awesome in bed.

He is literally the man of my dreams… except for one aspect.

THE CORNERS OF HIS HOUSE HAVE A LOT OF SPIDERS AND THEIR COBWEBS AND I’M AFRAID OF SPIDERS AF. Like deathly afraid – will jump up, shriek, and run.

My family has always been helping kill them… and from young till now, I have never managed to kill one myself. The last time I found one in my room and no one was around, I ran out of the house until my brother came back to kill it.

Where he is from and raised, he doesn’t care about animals/insects and respects them – only killing them when truly necessary if they are pests (such as cockroaches, flies and mosquitoes).

Other insects he will catch and release. He allows spiders to stay in the house as he believes they will keep mosquitoes and flies away by eating them.

So now I’m at a conundrum…he knows I’m afraid of spiders and has been trying to convince me that they are good but I can’t…at the same time he won’t clear the spiders as he says without them, there were a lot of mosquitoes…

It seems kinda lame but our relationship is now at an impasse cause of…spiders. A bit desperate for some advice!

NETIZEN WARNS M’SIAN CIMB BANK ACCOUNT HOLDERS TO CHECK BANKING APP TO AVOID SCAM

0

With the number of scams going around in the world, one would always need to be careful before clicking on a link that leads to a bank or other payment methods.

A netizen posted on Facebook warning other CIMB Bank account holders in Malaysia to take note of their I-banking app and ensure that there are no unauthorised devices that can access their bank accounts.

The post has since gone viral with almost 150 over shares on Facebook.

Here is what the netizen said (Google Translated):

Since the CIMB issue is hot. Many argue how money can be transferred to a scammer’s account without TAC.

This happens, there is a possibility that your account has been linked to the scammer’s phone. If there is, delete and change your password as soon as possible.

You can always check to make sure no unknown phone has access to your CIMB account. This is an endeavour other than hoping CIMB upgrade their security.

You can look at the picture to check the steps.

Original Text:

NETIZEN WANTS TO BE A BARISTA TO ESCAPE MUNDANE CORPORATE LIFE

0

I am currently at a career crossroad. After merely two years full-timing in a deskbound job, I have realised that it isn’t for me. The 9-5 and Monday to Friday grind has proved to me that this is not the life I foresee myself being able to tolerate.

For some context, I am a creative, working in a design company that designs for the interior design industry. I acknowledge that I am privileged to be able to do the work that I do, because it is rare to be able to get paid a decent wage as a designer/illustrator and I do not have to worry about having to pay my bills.

I used to associate that to being successful as I’ve always assumed that it would be difficult and almost impossible for me to find a stable full time job as a creative in Singapore. However after being desk bound and having to stare at a screen all day has really made me depressed and unmotivated in life and am willing to take a pay cut just to get out of this mundane grind. I know I am only able to express these sentiments because of how fortunate I am.

Am looking to get in touch with any Baristas out there who might have any advice on how I should get started. I’ve looked through the skills future courses available but would like to seek out more alternatives first before I jump the gun. I am also spending a month’s sabbatical in Melbourne and would love to know if anyone has any barista courses there that they could recommend! 🙂

CAR RENTAL COMPANY ALLEGEDLY PROVIDED FAULTY CAR THEN BLACKLISTS CUSTOMER

A netizen recently posted on a Facebook page to voice her displeasure on the services and quality of the car she received from a ‘K10 CAR RENTAL’.

According to the netizen, she had rented a car from the said car rental company but ended up allegedly receiving a faulty car when she went for collection.

She also mentioned that the salesman was allegedly late for 40 minutes during collection and remained unresponsive after the faulty car was handed over to her.

On top of that, she was also allegedly asked to bring the car to a workshop to settle some of the faulty issues of the car which she received.

Her dad was also allegedly blacklisted in the car rental market after the incident.

Here is her post

“Honestly one of the worst car rental provider. K10 car rental.

Came to collect the car but car was already in bad condition!

  • Window problem
  • speaker problem
  • one of the headlight problem
  • condition inside the car is so messy and dusty

Salesman not responsive after collection. During collection staff was late for almost 40min. Had to waste time and even ask us to go workshop to repair the window issue.

Not recommended at all!

Suspiciously we suspect they are the ones that blacklisted my dad’s name in the car rental market. After we engage them only his name was blacklisted

Lodge police report and report to CASE also they cant help much because apparently nobody could verify which company blacklisted my dad. and we cant appeal to the correct rental market about his case either so now my dad cannot rent cars from other company

Cant even leave reviews on their google and fb page.

Recently saw another person complain also about this company!”

Shared exchange with car rental company

Included in the netizen’s post were exchanges over Whatsapp with the car rental company.

GIRL SAYS SG MEN CANNOT ACCEPT HAVING A MORE EDUCATED PARTNER

0

I (F,<30) moved back to Singapore after years spent abroad for my studies (undergrad and postgrad) and I’ve noticed some questionable behaviours from Singaporean men I’ve went on dates with. It’s a relatively small sample size but that got me questioning. Some first date experiences I’ve had:

Guy 1 said (word for word) – “you would have never gone this far in life without your parent’s help and support”. FYI, I was on full scholarship and was also paid to do my PhD.

Guy 2 had a very strong English accent (I do have an accent, nothing too strong tbh it’s more of a mix) so I assumed he studied abroad and asked. Well, he did an exchange in an Asian country. Noticing the awkwardness I changed the topic into work (what can possibly go wrong I thought – everything). He started full on bragging about his accomplishments for an hour (his accent was gone by then) and upon discovering I hold a doctorate, immediately changed the topic into talking about horoscope. He then proceeded to brag about how his horoscope is the best. At some point he also commented about how local universities are the best and he doesn’t see a need for people to study abroad. No prizes for guessing: he’s from a local uni.

Guy 3 flat out told me that I need to ask him for his time if not he wouldn’t make any for me because 1. He is comparably more successful than his peers (not sure why this is relevant), 2. He earns more (not true, I just didn’t see the need to reveal mine), 3. I seem to have lots of time (hello, time management?).

There are also some that never made it to the list, like asking for a role play: me as a doctor (I’m not even a medical doctor). Honestly though, do Singaporean men feel the need to put women down, or even worst, treat them like objects? And like I’ve said it’s a small sample size so obviously I am not generalising it to all Singaporean men, I may just be unlucky. I’ve never experienced this when I was abroad so it’s a whole lot of question marks in my head.
