CHINA MAN KILLS HIS GIRLFRIEND BY RUNNING OVER HER WITH CAR MULTIPLE TIMES

A man in China reportedly ran over his girlfriend multiple times with his car causing her death.

The incident happened in Tangshan, Hebei China, and according to the local police, they received a police report on 2 August at about 11.53am, about a man knocking a woman down with his car near a swimming pool.

Police officers then arrived at the scene and preliminary investigations revealed that the man had gotten into an argument with the woman, who is reportedly his girlfriend, according to Apple Daily.

The woman was sent to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries and later died.

The man who ran her over was later arrested on the same day at about 3pm, after initially fleeing from the scene of the crime.

At the time of writing, police investigations are ongoing.

A harrowing video emerged online showing the car running over the victim multiple times after members of the public dragged her away from the murderous driver.

But the man continued to make a turn and run over the woman again as she laid on the ground, and the members of the public had to get out of the way to prevent themselves from being run over as well.

The man was so determined to run over the woman that he rammed into a car in his way, while trying to get to the victim.

He then made two more rounds to run over the woman some more.

M’SIA MP ON CHICKEN EXPORT BAN – WE HAVE ALREADY LOST S’PORE AS A CUSTOMER

0

Ronald Kiandee, the Malaysian Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries, said earlier today that the ban on chicken exports is set to be ended at the end of this month (August).

He was responding to the opposition MP for Kluang, Wong Shu Qi, in parliament.

Wong described the ban on chicken exports as a “wrong move”, resulting in Singapore importing chicken from other countries and diversifying our food sources.

Wong said that “we have lost a market, so no matter whether we reopen or allow exports again, we have lost a customer.”

Kiandee then added that the ban was “temporary” and that other countries also imposed similar measures when they had shortages in their food supply.

Background

With the supply of chicken at an all-time low in Malaysia, the country took a bold move and halted the export of chicken.

The Malaysian government hopes that the ban will ease the prices of chicken in the country.

Initially, many consumers and food vendors assumed that it will only apply to live poultry but the list actually extends to products that are made of Chicken.

The Singapore Police Force said in a press release that 107 people between the ages of 13 and 74 are being investigated for their suspected involvement in unlicensed moneylending activities.

Among the suspects include three people who allegedly harassed those who had taken loans from the loan sharks, and 23 others allegedly helped the loan sharks by carrying out ATM transfers and taking photos of the loanees’ homes.

One suspect also helped the loan sharks subscribe to mobile lines, while another provided false information to the loan sharks and led to an innocent victim being harassed by them.

Singapore Police Force’s statement

The Police are investigating 107 persons, aged between 13 and 74, for their suspected involvement in unlicensed moneylending activities.

During a five-day anti-unlicensed moneylending operation conducted between 25 and 29 July 2022, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and the seven Police land divisions conducted simultaneous raids island-wide.

Preliminary investigations revealed that three persons had allegedly conducted harassment at debtors’ residences, while 23 persons are believed to be runners who had either assisted in unlicensed moneylending businesses by carrying out Automated Teller Machine (ATM) transfers or taking photographs of debtors’ residences. One person had assisted the unlicensed moneylenders in their businesses by subscribing to mobile lines, and one person had provided false contact information to an unlicensed moneylender, which led to harassment being carried out against an innocent victim’s residence.

The remaining 79 persons are believed to have opened bank accounts and provided their ATM cards, Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) and/or Internet Banking tokens to unlicensed moneylenders to facilitate their unlicensed moneylending.

Investigations against all the persons are ongoing.

Under the Moneylenders Act 2008:

  • The offence of carrying on or assisting in a business of unlicensed moneylending carries an imprisonment term of up to four years, a fine between $30,000 and $300,000, and caning of up to six strokes.
  • The offence of acting on behalf of an unlicensed moneylender, committing or attempting to commit any acts of harassment carries an imprisonment term of up to five years, a fine between $5,000 and $50,000, and caning between three and six strokes.
  • The offence of providing false contact information to obtain loans from unlicensed moneylenders carries an imprisonment for a term of up to 12 months.

The Police will continue to take tough enforcement action against those involved in the unlicensed moneylending business, regardless of their roles, and ensure that they face the full brunt of the law. This includes taking action against those who open or give away their bank accounts to aid unlicensed moneylenders.

Unlicensed moneylenders are increasingly using text messaging or online platforms to send unsolicited loan advertisements. Members of the public are reminded not to reply or respond to such advertisements and to report these messages as spam. Members of the public are also advised to stay away from unlicensed moneylenders and not to work with or assist them in any way. The public can call the Police at ‘999’ or the X-Ah Long hotline at 1800-924-5664 if they suspect or know of anyone who could be involved in unlicensed moneylending activities.

TAIWAN SCRAMBLES AIRFORCE TO WARN OFF 27 CHINESE FIGHTER JETS FROM ITS AIR SPACE

0

According to Taiwan’s Ministry of Defence, they scrambled their airforce on 3 August to warn off 27 fighter jets from China infringed into their air defence zone.

About 22 of the Chinese fighter jets had reported crossing the median line that separates Taiwan from China, as tensions between the two countries heightened.

The Chinese “mission” included about 16 Chinese Su-30 fighter jets and 11 other fighting aircraft, according to Taiwan’s defence ministry.

However, a source from Taiwan said that the 22 fighter jets that crossed the median line, didn’t fly too far into the buffer from China, with neither side’s aircraft normally crossing the median line.

Context

China stopped importing several agricultural items from Taiwan and demonstrated its displeasure with Taiwan via a slew of military drills, following US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi visiting Taiwan.

Her visit to Taiwan makes it the highest level visit from the US in more than 2 decades.

Taiwan then dispatched aircraft and missile systems were deployed to monitor the activities of China in its air defence identification zone.

GUY GOES EAST COAST PARK TO LOOK AT BUFF GUYS, ASKS WHY THEY ARE “CREEPED OUT”

0

I am a frequent jogger at East Coast park. For others, it may be just for a simple casual exercise but for me, it is to oogle at the tall buffed guys.

Well, here are my general observations. Whenever I wink at these guys, the guys who seems to be locals will give the creeped out look while the angmohs are the ones who will usually wink back.

Why are local guys so reserved? I have a nice model-like atheletic body with hour glass figure, face wise definitely leng enough,  sure it is at least average (only a cleanly shaven moustache)  but none of them bother to reciprocate? Even a smile will suffice you know…

I hope my girlfriend doesnt find out that I am ‘cheating’ on her…

Netizens’ comments

  • If you’re a guy winking at another straight guy. Dafaq you want them to react? Come over to slap you awake? If you are a guy winking at other girls try, They also would think why got this creep winking at us.
  • Please concentrate on the path. Don’t wink here, wink there and act one model. But if you aren’t gonna sue NParks if you trip over a tree root, all is good.
  • They give creeped out look because they thought you’re suffering from stroke. Sounds like what 80 year old chikopeh will do at coffeeshop sia
  • From my observation, our local men are mostly conservative and good guys. When jogging at the park, they will only focus on their exercises and nothing else, unlike some men from China who will approach me to strike a conversation.

SFA LIFT SUSPENSION ON 4 MORE KUEH MANUFACTURERS LIFTED AFTER UPDATED LAB TESTS

0

Update to media release issued on 27 Jul 2022:

Updated on 02 Aug 2022: Five of the nine implicated kueh manufacturers have provided test results (conducted by accredited third party laboratories), which showed that their current production is free from benzoic acid/sorbic acid. Based on the results given, SFA lifted the suspension of the five kueh manufacturers as adequate measures have since been put in place, in compliance with the Singapore Food Regulations.

The five manufacturers are:
1) Tiong Bahru Tian Bo Shui Kueh Pte Ltd
2) Thomson Foodstuff Manufacturing
3) Delight Baker Pte Ltd
4) AMK Nonya Kueh Pte Ltd
5) Lim Food Industries

SFA’s original media release

Suspension of 9 local kueh manufacturers’ operations for improper usage of food additives

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) suspended the production of various kueh products by 9* local kueh manufacturers due to the improper use of food additives. The suspension takes effect from 26 July 2022, until further notice.

2 Under the Singapore Food Regulations, the use of benzoic acid/sorbic acid is not allowed in kueh products, except for its filling, which should not exceed the maximum permissible limits. Since the detection of benzoic acid in locally manufactured kueh products in Mar 2022 (https://go.gov.sg/kuehproducts10mar) SFA has been closely monitoring local kueh manufacturers. Benzoic acid/sorbic acid was detected at high levels in the kueh and components (e.g. dough) of kueh, manufactured by 9 kueh manufacturers.

3 In the interest of public health, SFA is taking enforcement actions against the implicated manufacturers and had suspended the production, distribution, and sale of the implicated kueh products which were found to be non-compliance with the Singapore Food Regulations. Food manufacturers should adhere to the Singapore Food Regulations and ensure that only permitted food additives within the permissible levels are used. As a precautionary measure, SFA has also directed the kueh manufacturers to recall the implicated kueh products. The recall is ongoing.

4 Based on the levels detected, consumption of the affected products once or twice is not of food safety concern. Consumers should not consume food containing high levels of benzoic acid/sorbic acid over a long period of time. This is because even though benzoic acid and sorbic acids are common additives which are safe when used in small quantities, studies in animals fed with high doses of benzoic acid had shown disorder of the central nervous system as well as changes in their brains. Animals fed with high doses of sorbic acid had shown effects like reduced growth. Consumers who have consumed the implicated products and have concerns about their health should seek medical advice. Consumers may contact their point of purchase for enquiries.

5 Food safety is a joint responsibility. While SFA puts in place and enforces the regulatory measures, food manufacturers should ensure that their products adhere to all the requirements in Singapore’s food related laws. SFA will take enforcement action against food operators who do not adhere to these laws and would not hesitate to prosecute offenders in Court.

MAN EARNED 6 FIGURES A YEAR, BUT DUE TO PANDEMIC, EARNED $0 & DID DELIVERIES TO SURVIVE

0

Would like to share my story over here.

Used to be single carefree, social butterfly, rock and roll character.

I met my wife thru tinder, shotgun after 6 months and got married and most things went down south. I was earning a decent amount(low 6 figure) as a salesman before marriage and of course, due to my spontaneous character I spent every dollar I earn aka not much saving. Due to covid and some other stuff, my earnings got affected very badly. Basically I still can afford daily living. But not a super comfortable life.

My wife also earns a good income probably 5-10k a month depending. Doesn’t contribute to the family(sometimes for our child). We live with my parents and she’s from the neighbouring country. Our bto is due 2024. So it’s quite a long way to go.

My previous life. I do tons of Social networking, drinking, partying. Part of it for fun. But I will be able to get some sales out of it. Being married pre-covid, whenever I do it. Me and my wife will have a bloody war when I get home. I totally know that she’s insecure,( I try to assure her thru messages. But it doesn’t work. )

Reach covid, sales was zero. I got no income coming in. I did some delivering and private hire to keep the family going. (She still thinks I got alot of money) restaurant meals/takeaway)

She’s say things like why do I even need to make noise to have a meal say $80-100. As a man, I try to suck it up.

To take things to this page I need to tell the audience I did some shameful stuff as will. I totally not proud of. As we were living with my parents, during one heated quarrel we had after my drinking session, my mum step in to say some stuff for me. Of cos most mothers will. So the wife scream at my mum. Which was very upset with. So I asked her to not do it. She continued yelling at my mum. I punched her. I shouldn’t have done it. But what done is done. It’s the worst thing I’ve done it life. She called the police and filed for a PPO. And after these things become sort of normal again.

Since the border open, she’s wants to go back whenever she has the chance. No matter there’s traffic or not. To accodate her I’ve been in the traffic 3-5hrs/ 6-10hrs weekly. Its super tiring for me, she just said, if I don’t want, she can drive. And if I don’t send her and my kid, she will say I’m fup.

Fast forward today. Wife and mum still has bad blood and we are still living togeter. The more she don’t wanna stay in my parents place. And she’s trying not to let my parents handle my kid. Saying all the bad stuff about my parents. I know it’s her way to get back to my mum.

I’m staying in this marriage because of my kid. But sometimes Id be better of dead. I really wanna leave but I truly love my kid. I don’t want my kid to receive bad quality education and upbringing. Honestly, this story can go on and on I can flood your whole feed.

FAMILY OF 3 TOOK TURNS EXCHANGING THEIR BURGERS AFTER EATING MOST OF IT

The boss of an eatery at Katong, shared his experience with a family of 3 that patronised his shop and demonstrated their level of “cheapskatedness”.

He said that the family of 3 took turns returning and exchanging their burgers after eating almost the whole thing, claiming that it was not cooked fully.

The boss of the eatery, Tommy, posted his rant onto his TikTok account @nbcbsg, and shared the unpleasant episode that happened at his Nothing But Cheese Burger (NBCB) outlet at Katong.

He said that his workers are taught to let customers know that their burger patties are cooked medium or medium-rare.

However, if customers want their patties to be cooked well done, it isn’t a problem for them, and that they can just request for it to be done so.

He then said that the family of 3 visited his outlet, and after eating most of their burgers, took turns to have their burgers exchanged.

They told the staff that they wanted their patties to be well done, instead of the restaurant’s usual medium/medium-rare doneness.

Tommy then demonstrated how little of the burgers were left using his fingers, when the customers came and requested for new ones.

The father of the family of three even had just a mouthful left remaining on his burger when he came to exchange the burger.

However, the staff agreed to cook the new burgers for them, and Tommy is unhappy with how his staff was being treated by the customers.

He urged customers not to take advantage of the goodwill of eateries as the profit margins for F&B operators is low and they would be operating at a loss if they compensate the customer.

NETIZEN ASKS SG GUYS IF THEY MIND GIRLS DOING PLASTIC SURGERY

0

A post was seen online whereby a netizen asked the community for their opinion on what do they think of girls who enhance the sizes of their chest via plastic surgery.

Here is what was asked

“Do y’all think it’s fake and a turn off or are majority of guys actually ok with it?

A friend of mine recently got bust augmentation surgery and she was more confident and happier with herself.

However many people started calling her fake and said she went from being marriage material to fake plastic.

I’m glad she’s not super affected and doesn’t regret her decision.

But makes me wonder if SG men really mind the fake chests or are people just really mean.”

Here are what netizens think

  • dont mind unless its hard as rock; needs some jiggle
  • Natural is best. Small or big, as long as it is still natural
  • Personally, I won’t recommend anyone to do it, because it’s still considered plastic surgery and it carries certain risks. But, at the end of the day, it’s not my body, so if they wish to do it, and they feel good afterwards, then good for them. I won’t judge anyone on their life choices, just like how I won’t want someone to judge me on mine.
  • It’s kinda like asking girls if they want a Prada handbag. There are those that would instantly say they want it, which they would then be branded materialistic. Then there are those who would say no but would happily accept it if one gifts it to them without other people knowing. Most guys are the latter.
  • As another human being, you do what you want with your body, i don’t care. As a guy, natural is preferred
  • If no choice then do plastic surgery loh, at least got something there not a balloon that is out air.
  • I myself prefer natural bodies I don’t even like much makeup. However, I won’t deny a nice pair can be nice to look at.
