NETIZENS DISGUSTED AFTER SEEING PLATES WASH ON FLOOR @ NEWTON FOOD CENTRE

There is this old saying “The more dirty the premise, the more delicious the food”. However, this term is often applied to places that do not look exquisite and not actually dirty.

A video has been circulating on Facebook, where two workers were seen washing dishes on the floor and even stacked dishes that are cleaned on the floor at Newton Food Centre.

The video divided the internet into two, with one group accepting the fact and stating that this kind of thing happens all the time and just that it is not witnessed. While the second group got totally disgusted by the hygiene standards.

One of the netizens pointed out that NEA is just beside the food centre.

  • Blatant disregard to rules and regulations. Extremely unhygienic.
  • Wow…Heritage Hawker Centre. No wonder, plenty rats around. Fat ones too

GIRL FOUND OUT BF TRIED TO GET HIS EX BACK WHEN HE WAS WOOING HER

0

Hi! Need some opinions on this.

I am attached to current bf for half a year. Previously he was in a 5 year relationship with his ex.

He cheated on her and she found out so she ended things.

I just found out that while we were at 1-2months into talking stage (nothing serious yet), he was still chasing his ex back (double texting her, claims he still love her, asking her out) but the ex of course did not agree to patch. He was very much affected by it as he planned to marry her.

I am guessing because the ex did not want him back, so conveniently we became more serious and started dating?

Two months later after he stopped talking to his ex, he said he loves me.

Right now, we are in a loving relationship. He is very caring, puts in effort to plan dates, invites me for family dinners, introduce me to his friends.

But somehow I am hurt to know that he was still chasing his ex while he was talking to me.

Do you think guys will ever move on from his long relationship or he is just dating me because he could not get his ex back..

I am confused how he can say he love me so fast when he just ended things officially with his ex before getting serious with me.

40-year-old Indran Devadas, returned to jail after assaulting a myriad of people in separate incidents, including attacking a police officer, and another person with a parang and fracturing the skull of another victim.

He committed some of his offences whilst being out on bail, and was sentenced to 2 years, 10 months and 6 weeks imprisonment on 25 July, along with 6 strokes of the cane after pleading guilty to 5 charges for several offences, including assault, voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a weapon and using criminal force on a police officer.

Indran had been in and out of jail for earlier offences, and he reoffended on 3 April 2020.

What happened?

Indran came home drunk on 3 April 2020 at about 2.15am, and got into an argument with his 50-year-old fiancee.

He threw a perfume bottle at her which hit her left temple, resulting in swelling.

he then confronted her on 20 November 2020 after hearing rumours that she had slept with another 35-year-old man, and he then went to the man’s flat and punched him in the face repeatedly before leaving.

He was then arrested and released on bail, while the 35-year-old man was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital with a fractured skull and other injuries.

Indran was still out on bail on 5 January 2021 when he got into another argument with his fiancee and attacked her.

He then argued with her again on 23 May 2021 and she then changed the padlock to her flat, and 2 days later, she called the police and reported that Indran had broken into her home while she was out at work.

Indran was then found by officers that arrived at the scene, and he admitted to using a took to cut the padlock to gain entry.

He was then arrested and whilst inside the police vehicle, Indran kicked one of the police officer’s left arm.

In another incident, his fiancee was at a Yishun restaurant in October 2021 when she saw a man who used to be in the same gang as Indran.

She confronted the man, a 54-year-old, because she heard that the man had been spreading rumours about Indran’s medical condition.

She then called Indran, who showed up at the restaurant with a parang and the two men then got into a fight, with the parang coming into the man’s right eye and eyelid.

Indran fled the scene and was later arrested in the evening, and the victim was found with injuries to his face, including fractures.

he was also unable to close his eyes fully due to a notch caused by the wound on his eyelid.

GIRL SICK OF DATING “INSECURE” AND “CONTROLLING” GUYS, WANTS HELP FINDING GOOD MEN

0

Genuinely curious on how people find good quality partners because all the guys I have dated have been super insecure, controlling, or projecting their issues onto me despite my efforts to reassure and be there for them. I understand that no one is perfect and that I am flawed too but sometimes the weight all of my ex-partners put onto me gets too much which leads us to break up….

So just wanted to know how people find partners that are confident and just have trust in them ? I seem to attract insecure guys that use me to seek validation and to sort their issues which is okay once in a while but it really does get too much on my end bc i too need reassurance and someone to rely on as well

Ive tried dating someone a year older, same background as me, similar interests but it just never works out and im getting tired of dating already but i do want to settle down soon and have children…. are people gatekeeping some secret to finding healthy relationships ?

just to add-on, i really do put in my 100% into the relationship and reassure my bfs to build up trust and not do things they dont want me to be doing and really listening to them all the time but the more i do, the more controlling and insecure they all get i dont know why ! from controlling my clothing to controlling who i meet, what i eat, everything that can be controlled, they will control !

conclusion is, where can i find someone that will know how to appreciate me…..

Howveer, the man then slipped out of his harness and fell to his death before the workers could pull him back to safety.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital despite efforts by emergency medical personnel to resuscitate him.

Second incident

The second incident saw a 10-year-old boy slipping out of his safety harness entirely, on the suspension bridge in the Enshi Grand Canton in Hubei.

A man was seen in the video trying to hold on to the boy by gripping his shirt, as the boy slid off the edge of the bridge.

The boy then slipped out of his shirt and fell, much to the horror of onlookers who screamed at the sight.

GIRL CLAIMS THAT CO-WORKERS SPIKED HER DRINK & USED BLACK MAGIC ON HER

0

Is my cousin imagining things?

I have a cousin who I am quite close to. She came over to study in Singapore and lived over at my house for a few years. Let’s call her Sharon. She works as a sales assistant in a boutique. Her working environment seems to be very ‘bitchy’ – full of politics, competitions and dirty tricks.

She always calls and complain that her colleagues ganged up together to torment her because she is not local. It got worst when she was selected to be the temporary in charge when their manager was away for awhile instead of a more senior local staff.

Recently, she told me something very shocking. She told me her colleagues got so jealous of her, they tried to harm her. She said that they have given her a coffee and when she drank it, feels like there’s sand grains inside and also has dark residue that doesn’t look like coffee powder. She said it might be some drugs or dark magic mumbo jumbo because she felt unwell and unlucky for days after that. She also claimed that they have secretly used her phone to register on some adult website hence she have received harrassment texts/invitations from random guys.

I honestly don’t know what to believe. I asked her why would they do that? It’s a criminal offence to drug someone. And that if she is unwell, she should see a doctor. But she is so fixated on the idea she is cursed she thinks a doctor cannot help her.

She claimed that the manager, a charming guy in his mid thirties is interested in her and her colleagues are jealous because they like him too. Apparently, he was always flirting with one of her colleagues but when she came, he was attracted to her instead. Sharon is not overly gorgeous but have her own charm and good figure. So there could be a chance he was attracted to her.

I told her to bring the harassment, minus the dark magic mumbo jumbo up to her manager, but she said there’s no prove because they’re smart enough to avoid the cameras and it might just worsen things.

She have been getting more and more paranoid and even doesn’t dare to bring water bottle to work. She always buy mineral water and finishes them asap.

I feel things are not right, so I went down to her store one day after my work to see what could be going wrong but I don’t feel that much of animosity between them. They’re obviously not close but they just mind their own business. To drug her… I don’t think so. But I can’t be sure too.

I accompanied her to a temple where she prayed and got some protection tailsman and braclets. She even got a medium qian (not too bad) for the problem she asked.

I thought things would get better but she claimed it didn’t work out as she is still feeling unwell/unlucky.

I actually start to think is it all in her mind… I tried to get her to quit, since it’s so stressful for her but she feels she “have lost” if she quits.

What do you guys think? How would you handle this?

Netizen’s comments

She exhibits symptoms of schizophrenia. Those with such mental illness perceives that the whole world is trying to harm her. So she is crazy. But everyone is kinda of crazy too, because sometimes we also imagine things which are not in our lives. It’s just whether you are aware or not aware.

Psychiatrists can use drugs or ECT to help stabilise the condition but it will not solve the root of the problem.

The only way to liberate oneself is to completely understand your own mind. Empty the mind of all concepts, ideas, opinions which we allow the whole world to feed our minds since young and form our mindset… The basis of who we are.

A person with schizophrenia is actually closer to the normal person to discovering her true self since she is losing her mind.

She needs to practise deep breathing into the belly and allow the excessive energy to sink into the core. She can also recite some mantras aloud to help cut off stray thoughts in the mind and help her focus in the present moment. I know of a TCM doctor who can use accpuncture needles to draw excessive energy in the head, down into the feet. In spiritual practise, this is known as grounding.

She need to change her job too. Her current mental health can’t cope with her existing work. She need something simple with less complicated people. Or take a break by going on a retreat. Otherwise breakdown is imminent. The universe is already telling her to stop whatever she is doing… And wake up!

MARRIED MAN BUMPS INTO SEC SCHOOL CRUSH AFTER 24 YEARS & TOOK HER NUMBER

0

I met my sec school crush…

Usually, I don’t take the MRT to work as I drive to send my kids to school but it was a special day cos I’ve sent my car for servicing. And it is as though God had intended it, my chanced upon my sec school crush in the same train.

The last time I met her was 24 yrs ago in school. She is sweet and demure and I’m always mesmerise by her smiles and cheerful yet soft spoken personality. I will never forget that lovey dovey feeling. When my frens told me she also had a crush on me and I was elated!

But alas. I was young as stupid then. I always liked her to be my girl. But I couldn’t muster the courage to confess to her. My social skills was weak and I’m rather reserved. Sec 3 and Sec 4 moved past quickly and we’ve lost contact. I would occasionally think of her at times and would sigh over the missed opportunity. That was my greatest teenage regret.

24yrs later, she had definately changed as I did too. She is abit chubbier now but more well groomed. she seemed more mature now with her office clothes but she still looks great!

I move ahead to greet her. She was initially stunted, as I was, but composed herself. She knew who I am without introduction! Her eyes and the way she smile are exactly how I remembered. Inside me I wanted to burst out and hug her.

I asked her how is she doing and if she worked around here? She told me her office is 3 stops away. The next 5 mins were all the usual catching up all these years. I found out she is happily married for 12 years and had 3 kids, the oldest already in primary 3. For that I felt glad and relief that she is doing good. Likewise, I shared that I’m married too with kids, which she joked that maybe we can share parenting tips.

We exchanged phone numbers. As her station is reaching. I can’t help but to feel sadness. Inside me, I wanted to be with her longer, I wanted to ask if I confessed 24 years ago will she accept? I have so much to tell her, to ask her and to share with her.

She said “I’m glad we met. Let’s catch up again one of these days!” As she waved goodbye and alight. Outside the train, she looked towards me and gestured me to call, I replied with a thumb up. I might be overly sensitive but I thought I saw her wiping her eyes, like as if there were tears. My heart broke for a 2nd time, and I might have broken her heart again that day too.

As for the call or catch up… it never happen. No calls, no whatsapp or texts since we met 3 months ago. I did spy on her profile pics and see her family pic. Her kids are cute and nice and her hubby looks great for her. No need to add additional emotions to her.

Yes, she is my crush, but I’m also happily married with two wonderful kids. She belongs to a different era of my life and will stay as such. I can only reminisce the teenage years when looking, talking and being with her in school brought me to good feelings.

Thank you for being the shining star of my teenage year. Glad you found happiness. Fate had me met you and alas we may not be together, I’m still glad I knew you.

Here are what netizens think:

  • If you had met her 24 years ago maybe u all already divorced.
  • Bro, u married don’t think too much.
  • Every one also young before.
