The family photo my mother in law has hanging in her living room has me photoshopped out of it.
Hi everyone, this is a bit of a strange situation and I’m not quite sure how to handle it.

My husband and I have been married for 11 years. His parents recently bought a new home. We (me, husband, kids) went to visit them. The house was beautiful, in the living room there are a lot of beautiful framed photos.

One of the larger ones is a picture of the entire family on a vacation that we took earlier in the year. This vacation was extended family as well, so there are about 20 people in the photo. I also have this photo hanging up in my home.

The difference is-I was edited out of this picture.

In the original picture, I’m sitting next to my husband, holding one of our sons on my lap, while our other son is standing between the two of us.

In this photo, my son is sitting on my husband’s lap and our other son is standing directly in front of him. I know it’s the same photo, my family is making the same exact expressions, it’s not like there was some secret second photo taken without my knowledge.

I pointed this out to my husband who seemed just as baffled as me. He bought it up to his mother who said she had no idea how or why that would’ve happened, she is adamant that she used the same photo that my husband’s cousin sent to everyone in the group text but when we open up that photo I’m clearly in it.

She’s insistent that she has no idea how this happened, (as is my father in law, and he didn’t have anything to do with developing/framing the photos etc anyway).

I don’t have a bad relationship with her as far as I know, I have no idea why she would photoshop me out of a family photo.

My step dad tried to screw my 27 year old sister.

He sent her explicit messages in the middle of the night while my mother slept. I received a call from my sister in the middle of the night completely traumatized and asking me how she could possibly tell my Mom that her husband had tried to screw her daughter.

Despite showing my Mom the messages, she decided to stay with him. I am the only person in my family who cut him out of my life, even my sister has “moved on for the sake of the family”.

I can’t pretend it never happened. It makes me sick despite it being almost 2 years since it happened.

So I dated this guy for 5 years. I took his virginity and was also his first serious relationship. that combined with his childhood issues made his attachment to me very unhealthy.

It didn’t help that I had no idea who I was. It was a confusing, long, disturbing look into the infinite emptiness of existence. I think that stuff contributed to how bad his fixation on me got.

Anyways, one memorable moment from those times was when my ex drank my piss. Not from a cup or anything, straight from the tap. He loved it so much. I still don’t know how to feel about it to this day.

It was actually very difficult to piss with another person eagerly waiting with their mouth open underneath you, but once I got it going he gulped it down like it was refreshing oasis water of life or something.

I heard huge swallowing sounds, like he was trying to consume every last drop. It was surreal to me that anyone would want to do this.

He thanked me profusely and told me that it was delicious and tasted amazing. I was stunned, and felt fundamentally changed as a person in an unspeakable way afterwards.

I don’t know if it was the right decision to let him do that looking back, cause drinking piss is really unhealthy for you.

I think I regret it?

My boyfriend absolutely disgusts me with the way he lives. His flat is appalling, rubbish and dirty clothes everywhere and it think I need to break up with him over it.

I’ve been going out with with my boyfriend for about 10 months or so and so far everything had been perfect, he’s kind, handsome and just the best.

He dresses well and doesn’t smell bad so I would never have guessed the state of his flat. when we FaceTime or call he is usually on his bed or at his desk and doesn’t normally turn his camera on because he’s self conscious about the way he looks which I was fine with.

I have my own flat which is where we usually hang out with friends and sometimes he sleeps over But I’ve never been to his, he says it’s because he’s getting “plumbing” done which will take a few months so his flat is messy because of it.

Okay, that’s okay I’ll just come over when it’s done? That was two months ago he said this and I asked him again if I could come over because I was getting suspicious why he wouldn’t let me come to his place.

I told him it was weird he would never let me see his house but he finally agreed yesterday So I went over today. He said beforehand he’d have to clean up a bit so I offered to just come and help but he refused.

so I go over to his address at maybe two and when I walk in I’m shocked man. It’s disgusting. His hallway was alright but the living room and kitchen had beer cans, energy drink cans, candy wrappers, empty plates, bowls all over the table and in the sink, I didn’t see his bathroom or bedroom but I don’t even want to imagine what it was like in there if this was the look of his living room….

It smelled of sweat and things I don’t even want to imagine. He asked if I wanted to watch a film and I decided to stick it out instead of just leaving but his couch had stains on it and It was crusty af I wanted to vomit.

30 minutes later I couldn’t take it so I faked an excuse and got out of there. The worst part is he didn’t even seem to care? Like this is perfectly fine??

i just got back to my place and I haven’t messaged him since and I seriously think I’m going to break up with him over it because whatever you’re imagining it was 10 times worse.

its Amazes me how you would actually never guess he lived like that.
