WOMAN CAN’T SEE BUS NUMBER, ASKS DRIVER, DRIVER SCOLDS HER: “YOU BLIND AH”

A Facebook user, Veron Ng, shared how she boarded a bus from Pasir Ris Bus Interchange.

She said that she has vision problems and couldn’t see the bus number clearly, so she then asked the bus driver what was the bus number.

The bus driver then allegedly scolded her in Chinese, saying: “YOU BLIND AH, CANNOT SEE FOR YOURSELF?”

Here is what she said

bus captain don’t have name tag for me to take down her name! Long hair woman in her 40s or so. I took photo of her back. Scared become public ugly scene if she see me does that.

I am totally shocked by her rude attitude. I board the bus at Pasir Ris bus interchange. She was abt to drive off. So I have to run, flag for her attn n quickly board.

There was bus 68. N 88. I didn’t wear spec. Got “san Guang” Cannot see properly the light on the bus. I just want to make sure I board the correct bus 88. I asked her this is bus 88 right.

Never expect she shouted at me in Mandain. Until all the passengers looking at me! Like I bully her! All heads look at me as she scold me in chinese. U BLIND AH. CANNOT SEE FOR URSELF? YOU YOUNG GAL LEH. NOT OLD PEOPLE!

Damn embarrassing for me! I said softly. I need to make sure I board the correct bus. She scold me loud again!  U FLAG FOR MY BUS. RUNNING TO BOARD IT. U TELL ME U CANNOT SEE SUCH BIG NO PLATE??!!!!  Omg! This is totally humiliating?!!

I had to quickly say sorry n hide myself.

I only see viral video on passenger scolding bus driver n pity them. Never expect the other way round for me.

Seriously I cannot see the neon bet 68 & 88. I just run for the booth. As I admit. I can be blur at times.

She just start her journey. Not like as if she aldy had a long journey.  Totally shock beyond words.

S’PORE CONFIRMS 2 NEW CASES OF OMICRON SUB VARIANT BA.2.75

0

The Ministry of Health confirmed on Saturday that there were two imported cases of the new Omicron subvariant BA.2.75 in Singapore as of 14 July.

The two cases had recently travelled to India and upon testing positive, immediately isolated themselves.

They have since recovered fully from the infection.

The BA.2.75 Omicron sub-variant, nicknamed “Centaurus”, was first detected in India in early May and had also been detected in other countries such as the US, UK, Australia and Canada.

MOH said that there is no evidence at the moment suggesting the sub-variant has a different virulence of severity than its predecessors.

They also noted that the WHO has classified it as a sub-variant under monitoring.

The WHO’s chief scientist, Dr Soumya Swaminathan, also added that they didn’t have enough samples yet to assess the severity of the sub-variant.

Meaning that there are indications that it might be more transmissible and/or associated with more severe disease, but there is not enough evidence to prove that it is so.

GIRL SLEPT WITH FIANCE’S FRIEND – “DO I TELL HIM OR PRETEND NOTHING HAPPENED”

0

Okay disclaimer! we hooked up before my fiancé and I were together.

I did meet my fiancé through other reasons (we were fwb) and I was ready for a relationship with him from the start but he treated me like I was nothing but a f buddy where I was thinking of him as way more.

He (fiancé) met up with his ex gf and then he ghosted me before that fell through and we eventually got together (which is a whole other story).

Around then, his friend was all about me (I guess he always was?) He always tried to hang out with me, take me on dates, etc.

i always said no cause I was still in love with my now fiancé. I was drunk on my birthday and said he could come over and he did and we hooked up.

I didn’t talk to him much after cause i felt bad for sleeping with him when I didn’t have feelings when he obviously did

Now him and my fiancé have come back into contact after a few years and fiancé invited friend to stay with us cause he has no place else to live which im totally fine with and want to help.

My question is do I tell my fiancé we sept together or just act like it never happened?

AIRCON TECHNICIAN INSTALLS COMPRESSOR INSIDE RESIDENT’S KITCHEN

A resident shared photos of her home after having an aircon compressor installed for the air-conditioning unit.

However, the aircon technician probably took things a little too literally, as he installed the air con compressor inside the resident’s kitchen instead of outside the home.

The compressor was seen in the photos being installed inside the kitchen, right above the refrigerator, was the cables being arranged right beside the clothes.

The resident also shared photos of the conversation with the aircon technician, who told the family that their home and their neighbour’s home were not in the same position, that’s why the compressor couldn’t be installed outside.

Seemingly trying to justify his indoor installation, the technician said that “we got do some place like this too. When you on aircon better open window, then hot air can go out.”

Editor’s note: if on aircon need to open window, then what’s the point of installing aircon at home bro… Alamak

GUY ON A DATE WITH GF, WHO SPENDS THE ENTIRE TIME REPLYING WORK MESSAGES

Girlfriend spends too much time with work

Hi everyone, I’m typing this on a date right now as my girlfriend is currently replying to work texts, and would like your opinions on this situation.

My girlfriend has just changed into a new job and is really busy with replying texts to the point of constantly being on the phone during our dates, even on weekends.

I understand that it is a new job and she wants to put her best foot forward, as I have previously did the same as well, replying to work during our dates.

As it is work-related and sometimes urgent, I also get that she feels the need to reply immediately. But I feel like work is really eating into her life and our dates.

Will it be unreasonable to ask her to have her be more focused during our dates and not work?

netizens’ comments

  • If she just started the new work only, you should just support her~
Unless it’s still like this 6 months down the road, then her job seriously has issue and you need to talk to her about it
  • Considering you did the exact same thing, where she presumably put up with it, I’d say expecting her not to do it is unfair, if not unreasonable. Not gonna go down well if I’m the gf.
  • I think that you should be proud of your girlfriend for putting in effort into her work. Having a positive and diligent attitude is important for someone entering into a new job.

NEW ROAD RAGE LADY, CLIMB ON TOP OF CAR TO HANTAM WINDOW WITH CAR PLATE

Following the infamous road rage that took place at the Second Link Malaysia Checkpoint, it seems other instances of car plate related road rages are happening overseas.

Over in Vietnam, a woman sought inspiration (presumably) from our very own road rage lady, and ripped out the license plate of a red coloured Mazda.

She stood in front of the car and blocked the car from moving forward, before climbing on top of the vehicle ad kneeling down on the bonnet.

She then used the car plate that she ripped out of the car and smashed it on the Mazda’s windshield, as passers-by tried to persuade her to get down.

She was seen filming the driver through the window throughout, before taking a seat on the bonnet as other motorists came over to speak to her.

She was seen in the video handing some paper documents as she spoke to what appears to be a policeman.

I’m breaking up with my boyfriend because he said I dont know how to blow him.

Dont ask for head and then when I( 20F)give you head you tell me I’m using too much teeth .

This man(22M) literally screams “AAAaaAahhh” every second. “You’re hurting me” “that hurts” or “girl….your teeeeth ”

i apologize to him when he says I’m hurting him and start back and he enjoys it for a second and goes back to crying.

One time he even pulled his pants up in the middle of it basically forcing me to stop and drove to get some food.

and It hurts me because I want him to enjoy it, I’m insecure about it and It got to the point I dont even want to get intimate with him anymore.

He then texted me that he wanted to get naughty with me today and we got into a little argument and he said “well maybe ill only want head if you actually knew how to do it right”

this hurt my feeling and I cant believe he said that . I’ll be breaking up with if I cant please him I’d rather not be with him he can find somebody else.

GIRL LEFT S’PORE AIRPORT WITH HALF-EATEN SANDWICH, FINED @2.6K IN AUSTRALIA

0

TikTok user @_jessicaleeee shared how she bought a footlong sandwich from Subway at the Singapore Airport because she was hungry following an 11-hour-long flight.

The 19-year-old girl ate half of the sandwich and wanted to save the other half for her flight home from Singapore to Australia.

After landing in Australia, she was trying to get through the customs but was apparently issued a fine of A$2,664 (SGD$2,535) for not declaring the chicken and lettuce in her sandwich.

She tried to explain herself to the authorities that she didn’t know she had to fill up a form for the food that she brought in, thinking that it was only for carry-ons and luggage.

However, her explanation fell on deaf ears and she was made to pay the fine anyway.

The Australia Department of Agriculture and Water Resources confirmed that travellers who provide “false or misleading information” face a fine of up to A$2,664 (which Jessica was made to pay).

Next time better don’t dabao food to Australiao liao.

GUY FOUND OUT HIS MOTHER AND FATHER ARE CHEATING ON EACH OTHER

0

Found out both my parents are cheating on each other

I [22M] found out my mother is cheating on my dad 6 years ago, was using her phone for some random I don’t even know what it was thing when a message popped up on the screen.

When I confronted her about it she begged me not to tell my dad and how this was all a mistake and she was just lost and won’t do it again,

me being young I kept the secret, the problem is… during those 6 years I caught her 7 more times, my dad is oblivious to it… or simply doesn’t care.

And to be honest this really fucked me up mentally, I have not been able to have a healthy relationship since..

Today my father forgot his phone at home and he received a call from an unknown number, I thought this was him and answered, a woman answered calling him sweet names before I could even reply..

I hung up, I do not know if I should tell him about it, our relationship is hard enough as it is.

I got two younger brothers that I am practically taking care of and I understand why my parents are sneaking around, they are not meant for each other,

but I feel if I did tell my dad when I was younger all of that never would have happened, I always used to tell my mom I do not care what she does but she has to get a divorce first,

cheating is disgusting and really affected me in a hurtful way.
