GUY GIVES MUM $1.6K/MTH, MUM TELLS PEOPLE HER SON “GIVES HER VERY LITTLE”

0

I pay for everything in the house but it’s not enough for my mum

Recently I found out my mum has been going around telling people I gave her very little allowances and refused to let her retired. I used to give her monthly allowance 600 which 200 goes to my dad and 400 goes to her. Pub bills, Groceries, anything you name it I am the one paying for it. That include bringing her for nice restaurants dining and travelling.

I got a brother who does not work for past 4 years and a sister who married off.

If my sister came home, I’m expected to “entertain” her kids or sometimes bring the kids out and eat all expenses on me. My mum will tell me your sister they are not doing so well plus having 2 kids so money not enough to use, I need to spend on them.

My brother who does not work did not take money from me but I paid every single things at home. He just idle at home doing some housework or watch YouTube, Netflix eg

Since, my mum express her wish to retired so I tell her just retired, and I start giving her 1.6k per month and she still feel her money not enough she now saying she don’t want retired till I give her more.

She goes around telling my relative and friends I’m very spendthrift.

I’m single 41 this year, I earning 12k per month. Investment and saving I put aside portion of money, and I don’t spend on top end branded clothing/bag. I love good food I spent quite a fair bit on good restaurants with my family and friends and holiday.

My mum tell my relative, her brother last time use to work and pass her most of his salary to save which is why he can afford not to work. I rolled my eye because he never paid a single cent to the family which is why can pass her lots of money to save. I even paid for his mobile after he graduated and his holiday expenses when we goes on family trip.

I can’t be giving her all my own money for saving in the event if anything happen to her my brother and sister will want the money to be spilt among them. I’m single I still need own money for old age.

Because of this family I been giving in a lot my ex bf cannot take it we always argue till we broke off 8 years ago and I also single thereafter.

I always wonder I’m doing too little or too much for my family. Till I deserve my mum going behind my back telling tales and my auntie will come tell me.

INSANE ROAD RAGE – WOMAN RIPS OUT DRIVER’S LICENSE PLATE, THROWS AT HIS WINDOW

A video emerged online showing a road rage incident that happened on the Tuas Second Link, involving a driver who is presumably from Singapore wearing an Innova Junior College shirt and a female passenger.

The woman was seen leaning onto the black MPV with her back facing the driver, and violently trying to rip out the license plate of the vehicle.

She then threw it onto the windshield of the MPV, as her partner (the man wearing a blue Innova JC shirt) came running out of his car and towards them.

He then stood at the side of the road pointing his middle fingers at the driver as She-Hulk pushed him away and they then got back into their car.

Another cut of the video shows the POV from the black MPV driver’s viewpoint, with the woman standing right in front of their car and filming them.

She was then seen folding her arms and staring at the driver and his passengers, before leaning forward onto their bonnet and gesturing at the other passing cars to drive on.

HOMELESS ELDERLY SLEEPING AT VOID DECK, KIND SAMARITAN BUYS FOOD FOR THEM

Singaporean activist Gilbert Goh shared how he stumbled upon a couple of elderly men sleeping at a secluded void deck on mattresses.

He saw their personal belongings strewn all over the area, indicating that they might have been living there for a long time.

Here is what he said

Got a shock of my life when I stumbled upon two elderly men sleeping rough at a secluded void deck complete with mattresses and foldable chairs.

You don’t simply walk around after dinner straight into a unplanned homeless den in our modern society.

Their personal belongings are strewn all over the area showing signs that they have being there for a long time – away from the prying eyes of the public at a secluded corner.

I went to buy some bread for them afraid that they may go hungry as one of them seems to be quite scrawny in size.

There are other mattresses lying around indicating that there may be more rough sleepers than the two I came across.

I left the area still reeling from the shock of this unwanted sight of yet another small cluster of homeless elderly folks having to make the public area their home.

Do something good for Singapore – a charity movement to alleviate the hardships of displaced elderly Singaporeans.

UNFILIAL SON TOOK LOAN FROM ELDERLY MUM, RUNS AWAY WITH HER LIFE SAVINGS

0

A netizen shared how her brother took a loan from their elderly mother, promising to return her the money but later ran away with the money, which is her mother’s life savings.

Here is what she said

My brother took a loan of about $20k from my mother, and although to some people it isn’t much, it is her entire life savings.

He came to her saying that he ran into some troubles in Thailand and needed help urgently, and when my mother asked him what troubles was he facing, he just told her that it was complicated and that even if he explained, she wouldn’t understand.

My mother loved and trusted him, as all mothers do, and readily gave him all the money that she had saved up over the years, her life savings, AS A LOAN.

Do you know what the definition of a loan is? A loan is “a thing that is borrowed, especially a sum of money that is expected to be paid back with interest.”

He then took the money and told her that he was grateful to her for her help, and that he will return her the money once he settled his problems in Thailand.

Half a year passed and we haven’t heard anything from him, we can’t reach him via messages, calls or social media because he has blocked all of us.

I don’t even care about the loan amount that he scammed his own mother, I can reimburse our mum but it’s the way he used and lied to her for his own monetary gain.

Really feel sorry for my mother for giving birth to such a useless son.

He bring me come his home to meet his parents and had dinner with his family and then asked to marry me. He helped me find an apartment to rent and used his name to register but the rent was paid by me.

Then he brought his clothes and stayed like his home on the grounds that the house was signed in his name and next month he will marry me.

And from the first night moved into the house he asked me to sleep with him, when I disagreed he blamed and said he was disappointed for helping me find a good place to live in his name and help me do many things for the house, clean and move the house quite a lot thing very tired but after everything is good I can’t make him enjoy it with intercourse/.

After a night of not being satisfied, in the morning continued to convince me by hands job and providing oral intercourse but I disagreed and then he touched my private area with his hands for a chance to satisfy his needs.

He also took the initiative to open a bank account in his name so that I can put my money inside and the promise to guide me to reset my password, but then he quietly withdraw the money to use, without notifying me.

After knowing I discovered his bad face and he couldn’t get his needs, he threatened and kicked me out of the house even though I was the one paying the rent.  Beware of this damn scammer.

Happy ending massage but not giving consent for it to happen

I’m really confused don’t know what to do, my girlfriend (20) hates me. So I was highly intoxicated one afternoon and me and my mate went to get a massage from around the corner.

I stated to my friends that I did not want a happy ending or anything extra. We went in I paid full price for the massage and no extras.

I vaguely remember it happening and she told me to roll over and starting jerking me off, I didn’t know what to do I just froze and it ended.

I told my girlfriend as soon as she saw me. And now she broke up with me saying I cheated and now she hates me.

She said I could’ve said no or stopped it. I just froze and didn’t know what to do and I wasn’t in a conscious state mentally. What do I do? Do I give her time? I’m so confused. I need help

Tried talking to her and she just kept yelling at me nonstop, I tried explaining my point of view of what happened. She didn’t even listen to me once, I tried but I got yelled at.

EXPAT IN S’PORE NOT HAPPY WITH OTHER EXPATS, CALLS THEM “ARROGANT”

0

What’s up with the expat vibe here?

Context I’m an Asian (Indian) American visiting Singapore.

Was at a party yesterday and I’ve gotta say some of the expats here are next level confident (arrogant)?

This one Australian dude in finance was just surrounded by people (mostly locals) listening to him as if everything he said was super interesting and he was really just talking about himself and how awesome he is the whole time.

Another British expat told me how insanely easy it is for him to get laid here and pulled up his tinder… entirely unprompted.

Sorry but seems like a super weird vibe here with the expats?

I’m sure not all of them are like that but man this was such a weird experience.

Idk never felt this way in California at house parties before.

The American expats here seemed chill for the most part – maybe it’s just sampling bias idk. It does seem there are significantly fewer Americans here though (of which a lot of Asian Americans interestingly).

17 ILLEGALLY MODIFIED PMDS & PABS SEIZED BY LTA IN OPERATION @ GEYLANG

0

LTA said in a Facebook statement that 14 PABs and 3 PMDs that were illegally modified, were seized in operations conducted at Geylang Road.

LTA’s statement

Illegal modifications compromise device safety, posing safety risks such as a higher chance of fire to the users, their families and other members of public. #SafetyFirst

Besides carrying regular enforcement action against users, we take an equally strong stance against irresponsible retailers who sell illegally-modified devices and put others at risk.

Last week, our enforcement officers conducted one such operation against an active mobility device retailer located along Geylang Road.

We seized 14 PABs and 3 PMDs that were illegally-modified. Investigation into offences such as displaying and offering non-compliant PABs and PMDs for sale is ongoing.

Ensuring public safety is our top priority and we will not hesitate to take enforcement action against those who endanger others through their irresponsible actions and behaviours.

#Reminder If you’re thinking to purchase a PAB or PMD, do ensure that it is compliant and registered. #SafeRidesHappyRides
