CEO ACTS COOL TO GIRL, PRESS HAND AGAINST WALL “I DON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER”

0

HELPPPP what do you do with guys who try so hard to act cool in front of girls? On Friday my mentor said he will treat me to lunch to celebrate my first week at the job; I agreed to the lunch but politely declined the treat, then suddenly he pulled off a Korean CEO move by cornering me into a wall and resting one hand on the wall, saying “I don’t take no for an answer. It’s settled.”

Unfortunately, his outstretched arm featured a ginormous ARMPIT STAIN AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Not only that, on my first day when I passed a comment worrying about whether I will pass probation, he knocked his index finger against my forehand and was like, “Silly girl. You have me.”

He obviously didn’t watch properly how they do it in kdramas, because instead of a light tap he Mike Tyson-ed it and my head literally snapped back and I muffled an “OOF”. Laoniang had a blue-black for two days okay.

In case you were wondering, yes he wears his jacket with the collar turned up. Oh my god.

Here are what netizens think:

Hahaha! That blue black super turned off!!!Seriously, the act cool is more to haolian. If u prefer humble guys, that’s obviously not your cup~~

HAHAHAHAH main point is, how handsome he is.

Watch too much Tele liao then want act like Korean actors.

Important qns is does he look like a korean oppa or korean opps? No picture hard to comment

WOMAN WORRIED ABOUT BTO & ROM, USING AMOUNT OF YEARS TO GAUGE RELATIONSHIP

0

My bf and I have been together for close to 2 years. Today, he suggested that we apply for the May BTO launch. We have already tried for the Feb one this year but didn’t manage to get a number.

I felt a bit mixed if I am ready to apply for a BTO with him. If successful, we would be able to get the house in around 3 years, which means we have to ROM by then. I am having concerns because I felt that us being together for only close to 2 years might not be a good gauge to determine if we are really compatible? Or am I thinking too much?

Honestly, he treats me well and gives me a lot of security. He would constantly auto update me of his whereabouts, small things in his life and always initiate reflective/ feedback sessions in our relationship. However, some concerns I have are the time frame that we have been together. We clique really well and I feel there is really quite a lot of compromise between us in this relationship. We met online and although he did tell me about his past briefly, but I am still not sure if this 2 years are sufficient for me to fully know him as a person and to determine that I can spend my future with him.

We do talk about what we would be like in the future, but I am unsure if that can be a reality or just our dreams. Also, he does not really have a goal in life, like his current job is not really something he likes and he does not really have interest in any industry. Additionally, I feel that the way we spend money is really different, like he is ok with going to restaurants, eating a set for $15 while I don’t really feel comfortable doing these and prefer my hawker food, although he is also fine with hawker food.

I am not sure if the way we spend money will be a hindrance to our future finances. Any souls out there who have had similar experiences can give some insights here for me? Thanks a lot in advance!

Here are what netizens think:

  • I with my ex 5 years get married another 3 years also divorce. Time is nothing
  • You are not sure about everything…..Are you sure that guy you are talking about is your bf?
  • It’s seems like you have many doubts in this relationship. Did you really speak about it with your bf? I guess you haven. You should clear all of it before you make the right moves.
  • Even if you have 10 years to know him, human changes in every phase of their life, every age and environment change them. Even if you think you get a guy modelled after your dad also useless, cause human change.Change is forever.

1 MILO AND 2 KOPI IN PAPER CUPS FOR $20 AT CHANGI AIRPORT TERMINAL 1

0

A netizen shared a photo on Facebook stating that the price of the drinks at Terminal 1 is expensive.

For a cup of milo serve in a paper cup, it seems like it requires an arm or a leg.

On the receipt, it states that it was bought from Anjappar & Kallash Parbat Restaurant, the photo invited heated discussions among netizens with some of them stating that it is due to the high rental prices which resulted in the consumers suffering.

The netizen who posted the photo said:

Very small cup leh…very expensive leh…at this time at this terminal 1…anyway…just sharing to u all…

Here are what netizens think:

This is very costly regardless of the location. This is not special coffee/milo. Look to me sth I am still ok to pay $2.50 for but $4? Rental high also not anyhow charge leh.

A netizen pointed out that in Australia a cup of milo cost $12 but was quickly shot down by another netizen who said that there are minimum wages of $20 in Australia and the argument was like comparing apples and pear.

A netizen who saw the photo described it as a “Broad Daylight Robbery”

Facebook user Colin Biswas commented:

You mean just for the 3 paper cups of coffee cost $20.60? This is called “BROAD DAYLIGHT ROBERRY”. I would for sure bring my coffee in a small flask and have it anytime. Open your eyes to see robbery is taking place right in front of your eyes. Don’t fall into this affluent and high class cost of living. The cost of living has really shot up but you can shot down by not patronizing such places for your coffee. Frustrate them by drinking from your flask in front of their shop but not inside.

BF ADMIT HE GOT TOGETHER WITH GF BECAUSE SHE GOES GYM, WHAT A NUT

0

My bf of close to a year confessed to me that he thinks of his ex, which honestly upsets me. He describes their relationship as “toxic” and “she deserve better” but I don’t understand why won’t he just get better and win her back instead?

Am I a rebound? This is my first relationship, but it’s his third.

For context, we met at the school gym and I showed interest in him first before we got together. He claims that he and his second ex had no common interests/hobbies and she wasn’t his cup of tea. He says that he was attracted to me initially because we had a common interest (gymming) and I was his type of “ideal girl” (physically).

I honestly thought we also connected emotionally (since he confess that to me?). I’m quite lost for words now and I dk what to do…

Here are what netizens think:

  • He’s told you the answer literally >> attracted to you INITIALLY due to common interest (gymming) and how you looked physically. Well after nearly a year, maybe he has time to reflect on what he wants / doesn’t want out of a partner and he’s having doubts.
  • Good that he’s your bf, not husband. Can find a better man to be your husband lah
  • How wonderful it is to date when young. No inhibitations, hesitations, doubts or fear.
  • His mind is waivering, he is missing her n regrets his toxic ways. Ask him whats next? See if he can answer or take a long pause
  • He is just your gym bf, out of gym… find someone else. Maybe he is also gym specific.. so give it up.lah.. dun be naive

MAN STRUCK 4D & WON $30K, GIVES WIFE $10K BUT OWN MOTHER $50

0

A netizen shared how her husband struck 4D and won $30k, but he gave her $10k and gave his own mother only $50.

Here is what she said

My husband won $30k after hitting the first prize in 4D, he gave me $10k but gave his mother only $50.

For context purposes, their relationship hasn’t always been the best over the years. When he was growing up, she used to drink all the time and beat him up when she got drunk.

His father left him when he was 9 and he was raised by his grandmother, while his mother was almost never home, always hanging outside doing god knows what.

Anyway back to the story, my husband bought $10 Small 4D on my birthday (DD/MM) and the exact birthdate came out 1st prize, and the winnings came out to $30K.

I didn’t know about it until after he had collected the winnings himself, cashed in the cheque and told me he had a surprise for me.

He gave me $10k, before bringing me out for dinner to celebrate the windfall. I asked him about his mother, about how much he gave her, because if I was the one who won the money, I would split it equally between him and my parents.

He said that he didn’t give her anything, which is understandable, given their strained relationship. So I badgered him to give her at least something, and he said ok, he will give her some money.

A few weeks later, we went to visit his grandmother and his mother was there, they (my husband and his mother) refused to speak to each other, so I struck up a conversation with her myself, afraid she would feel neglected.

I asked her if she knew about his windfall and she said ya, then i asked her did he give her any money? She said $50, and you should have seen how defeated she looked when she told me.

I felt really bad and that night, I transferred her half of my $10k and told her that it was from her son, but “he don’t want you to know that it is from him”.

She couldn’t stop thanking me through the phone and I could hear her sobbing happily, and it really warmed my heart.

Anyway all I can hope for now is that maybe one day they can reconcile and become a happy family again.

Editor’s note: God bless your kind heart.

DEE KOSH CONVICTED OF OFFERING UNDERAGED BOYS MONEY FOR SEX ACTS

Disgraced former radio deejay, Darryl Ian Koshy, or Dee Kosh, pleaded guilty earlier today (30 May) to three criminal charges.

The three victims were between the ages of 15 to 23 at the time of his offence.

The 33-year-old YouTuber pleaded guilty to offering cash to an underaged boy for explicit services, as well as the attempted exploitation of a young person.

He had offered between $400 to $2,000 for explicit acts with the victims after reaching out to them on social media.

None of the underaged boys accepted his offer, but he also secretly filmed a man who had accepted his offer of explicit activity.

Dee Kosh pleaded guilty to one charge of communicating with an underaged person to obtain explicit services, one charge of attempting to exploit a minor, and one charge of making an obscene video.

Four more similar charges will be taken into consideration for his sentencing on 28 July, including making an obscene video.

Dee Kosh will also be examined at the Institute of Mental Health after his lawyer obtained a psychiatrist report on whether Dee Kosh is a paedophile and what are the risks of him reoffending.

Fall from grace

Dee Kosh’s alleged offences first came to light after numerous people claimed on social media that he asked them for explicit pictures and favours.

He had allegedly tried to ask a 15-year-old boy if he could perform explicit acts on his in exchange for money between March and June 2018.

Separately, he is also being accused of offering up to $2,000 to two 17-year-old boys in July and August 2020 to perform explicit acts on him.

Dee Kosh was also charged with offering $2,000 to a 16-year-old boy in February 2017 to perform an explicit act on the boy.

He is also being charged for possession of obscene videos after 23 such materials were found in his home along Woodlands Street 31 on 5 October 2021.

He also purportedly made two videos titled “00001” and “00007” between 2016 and 2017, and the police said that some of the videos that Dee Kosh allegedly possessed showed him performing explicit acts with others.

The videos were allegedly taken without the knowledge of the other party.

The identities of the alleged victims cannot be revealed due to a gag order.

SCAMMERS POSING AS PARCEL DELIVERY COMPANIES, MORE THAN $480K LOST

The Singapore Police Force warned on Friday about the resurgence of scams involving parcel deliveries, where scammers are posing as parcel delivery companies.

More than $483,000 have been lost in the scams, with at least 350 people falling victims since January 2022.

The victims would receive emails or messages from the scammers posing as well known logistics companies and inform the victims that they had a parcel waiting for delivery.

The scammers would then tell the victims to click on a URL in order to enact payment, and after doing so, the victim would be redirected to a fake website and tricked into providing their credit/debit card details and OTP.

They would only realise that they had been scammed after discovering unauthorised transactions being made to their cards.
