CYCLIST NOT HAPPY CAR NEVER GIVE WAY, CHALLENGE DRIVER TO COME DOWN AND FIGHT

A car driver shared footage from his dashcam about an incident that he encountered with a cyclist.

The cyclist was upset that the driver didn’t spot him at a zebra crossing and didn’t give way to him.

The driver defended himself, saying that the bike doesn’t have any front lights and the cyclist was wearing dark coloured clothes, which makes it difficult for him to spot the cyclist.

The cyclist and scolded the driver with a slew of vulgarities, pointing a middle finger at the driver and allegedly challenged him to alight and fight

The driver had his baby inside the car with him at the time.

You can read the driver’s post in full below:

“To the bicycle rider, I’m sorry that I never see you.

Because your bike has no front light and you were wearing too dark. When I realised you wanted to cross the zebra crossing, you did not slow down and dismount from the bike, I stopped the car and let you go.

“When I let you go, I waved my hand and gave you signal to cross, signalling that I will wait for you to do so.”

“You misunderstood that I wanna scold you.

You want me to come down the car and keep calling me fight with you ask me Lai Lai Lai and sent “greetings” to my mum.

My baby was also in the car.

“Please stop before you want to cross the zebra crossing next time and dismount from the bike and push over.

Thank you.”

In the event of anything unfortunate happening, it would be advisable to get yourselves insured with some form of personal mobility insurance to better protect cyclists and their bicycles.

Car drivers should also get themselves insured with insurance coverage to protect themselves as well as their vehicles against damage due to accidents, especially if the car is purchased with a bank loan or car loan.

Stay safe on the road guys!
