BF LIKES TO KEEP ROTTING GARBAGE AT HOME AND THREATENS TO TAKE HIS OWN LIFE

0

“My boyfriend is a huge fan of buses and can tell what model is the bus by simply listening to the engine. He can even memorise bus plates and sometimes I tell him over the phone the number of the bus I’m taking, and he has the superpower to tell me the exact plate number and bus model of the bus. I suspect he has autism.

Well that’s okay with me.

What’s NOT okay is that whenever we go out, he likes to keep whatever rubbish we created and bring it home to throw! if we ate McDonald’s or KFC outside, he will put all the rubbish in his bag to bring home. He does not allow me to throw away a bag that is not full, so he tries to make it full using whatever rubbish we created outside. the house really stinks because the rotting meat has been in the plastic bag for several days. He also do not want to use the bin as the plastic bag does not fit any bin perfectly, so it is an exposed plastic bag. I have thrown up several times because of the smell and we argue a lot over the smell of the rubbish.

Last but not least, he does not want to hang clothes on any pole to dry as he thinks the poles are dirty from bird shit, dust or other people touching it. So all our wet clothes from the washing machine will be dumped on our bed. Some nights I have to sleep on cold, wet bed because the clothes have not fully dry.

He also does not allow me to sit anywhere whenever I come home from outside. I have to sit on “dirty” chairs and not simply any chair. I cannot sit in the floor too.

I’m not able to break up with him as he would threaten to kill me or my family or himself. He will also make trouble for me at my workplace. I feel so trapped and no one to turn to. I can’t tell my friends or family about this. I’ve turned to AWARE but they can only help people who are married. What should I do? Sometimes I feel like dying to escape from all these misery.”

CHANGI AIRPORT TERMINAL 5 TO RESTART CONSTRUCTION

After the worldwide pandemic which affected many businesses, things are starting to go back to normal.

The Changi Airport Terminal 5 project was paused in the last 2 years and the project will resume soon.

According to The Strait Times, Transport Minister S.Iswaraan said that the project will resume construction in two to three years’ time and the new terminal will be operational ready around the 2030s.

In his speech at Changi Aviation Summit, he stated that the current and projected air travel demand has reignited the need for more infrastructure.

A really big terminal

In previous reports, the Changi Airport Terminal 5 is set to have the size of 667 football fields.

In an image illustration from Changi Airport group, it shows that the new terminal 5 is bigger than all the current terminals combined.

Once the project is completed, the airport is set to handle more than 50 million passengers a year.

UNI GRAD ENVIOUS THAT HIS FRIENDS THAT DOES NOT HAVE A DEGREE ARE MORE SUCCESSFUL

0

Anyone else thought about how different life would be without a university cert?

At about 30, all my university friends are employees working for MNCs, with the exception of 1 working for his dad’s company and another in a startup.

Recently I met up with my secondary school friends who didn’t go to university and I realise they’re very successful too. I’m immensely happy for them. More than half of them have their own non-tech businesses which aren’t inherited from their parents. For example: f&b, renovation, recruiting, advertising, ac repair, motor workshops.

As much as I am happy that they are doing well, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t envious of them. While my uni friends and I are talking about whether to get a resale 4 or 5 room, most of my secondary school friends have outright bought condos/landed properties already.

What I realise is that my secondary school friends worked for SMEs for a couple of years to learn the trade before starting up their own business. Now, if I were to try to replicate this, I’d need to start a petrol company, which is absurd. Yes I work in Jurong Island.

I’m not complaining that I have chosen this path, but sometimes I really wonder how things could be if I didn’t go to university for an engineering course.

Here are what netizens think:

  • Starting a biz isn’t exclusive for non uni grad….And which law says you can only start a biz of your trade?Don’t be envious because you don’t know what they have to go through to make it to the top. And maybe if you learn how they got there, you will be glad you chose the right path.
  • That’s your pasar though. There are many equally successful university graduates and many equally unsuccessful non-university graduates. Your life is what you make of it.
  • Yours is a common fallacy. With this kind of thinking, you are better off as an employee. Thinking like that will only bring regret and misery, but it would take a herculean effort to switch your thinking around. The education system is still acting like the world of the 1960s, while “looking” futuristic, so don’t feel bad – the programming runs deep.

FREELOADING GUY EATS GF’S FOOD, DOESN’T HELP WITH EXPENSES OR BILLS

0

My boyfriend is freeloading at my place and I don’t know what to do

Hi, need some advice here.

My bf and i have been in a relationship for over 3 years now. During the initial years, he will bring me out to eat for dates, movies etc.

Just about a year ago, when my mother passed away, I ended up living on my own.

So since then, everyday he would come over for dinner and weekends for dinner or lunch, watch TV and play games. Initially it was alright, i enjoyed the company (who wouldn’t right?)

But after awhile, it gets too much as i can’t go out without him asking me when i’ll be back, and he expects me to buy dinner back for him when i’m out and we hardly go out anymore since my place covers food and the subscriptions to movies and netflix. (I don’t mind staying home)

The problem is that he doesn’t contribute to the household expenses or bills, yet he eats all the food in kitchen and drinks in fridge. He doesn’t clean, so basically I feel like he is treating my place is like a hotel with a maid (who cooks and clean) and free flow of drinks and food.

I don’t know how to solve this problem without hurting his feelings or if he wish to come over; at very least contribute to the expenses and electricity bills.

ps, i did ask him to go back home by saying he doesn’t need to always be around, didn’t work. He took it negatively and thought i didn’t want him around.

COUPLE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 10 YEARS BUT NEVER GOTTEN INTIMATE BEFORE

0

My bf of 10 years and I haven’t slept together but we are happy. Are we weird?

My bf and I are together for 10 years and we have lived together for a couple of years. I am 100% sure he does not watch any adult content

His secondary school friends tried to share some videos with him before but he felt weirded out and that it was disgusting and intrusive to watch other people. He thinks it is disrespectful.

Sometimes I ask him if he wants to try watching for fun but he strongly insists that he doesn’t want to.

We have gone overseas together and sleep on the same bed together every night. However we just have no reason to get naughty?

I hear of SO many friends doing the deed but we are just happy eating, watching shows, chatting, holding hands, hugging…

recently I keep wondering if we are a weird and strange couple. Feels like we are the odd one out. But we are happy and fulfilled. Is there something wrong with us?

We have no desire to get intimate but yes we are attracted to each other. I think he’s very handsome and attractive and he thinks I’m cute and funny. Is it we lack some chemicals in our body ?!

Hello I just want to report that while I was walking home at 5pm just now along Boon Lay MRT Station, I witnessed this very heartwarming scene of kind samaritans helping this elderly up.

Apparently he had a fall and was bleeding profusely and I helped to call the ambulance.
