A woman was found dead at the foot of a condominium after falling from level 10 of the building.
According to CNA, the woman who fell to her death is a 38-year-old Philippines National, Ruth Dalumpines Dulfo who is working in Singapore.
The incident happened on 7 June 2021 at Laguna Park Condominium.
She was staying with 5 other people in the unit and has a history of sleeping walking.
Investigations revealed that there is no foul play and it is believed she had fallen to her death after she sleep walked and climb out the winow.
Alcohol
On the night before the incident happened she drank alcohol, autopsy results revealed that there was a high amount of alcohoil in her blood.
The window in the apartment was at least 1.7 meters from the floor and the window where she fell from was opened when Police investigated the scene.
Her sister revealed that there were at least 3 incidents she sleep walked in the Philippiunes.
Her housemates also witnessed her sleepwalking, in one occasion where she sleep walked out of her bedroom, only to wake up while walking and not sure how she got there.
The Police have arrested a 38-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of housebreaking and theft.
On 11 May 2022 at about 6.10 am, the Police received a report of housebreaking at an office along Bain Street. Cash amounting to $2,600 was purportedly stolen.
Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from Police cameras, officers from Central Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 12 May 2022. Of the reported amount of cash stolen, $360 was recovered from the man.
The man will be charged in court on 13 May 2022 with housebreaking and theft under Section 451 of the Penal Code 1871. The offence carries an imprisonment term up to 10 years and a fine.
The Police would like to advise all property owners to adopt the following crime prevention measures:
Secure all doors, roller shutters, windows and other openings with good quality grilles and close-shackled padlocks when leaving your premises unattended;
Install a burglar alarm, motion sensor light and/or CCTVs, to cover the access points into your premises. Ensure that they are tested periodically and in good working condition; and
Refrain from keeping large sums of cash in your premises.

The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said in a press release that they have arrested 102 suspected drug offenders in islandwide operations and seized more than 20kg of cannabis in a drug hideout.

Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) arrested 102 suspected drug offenders in an island-wide drug operations from 9 to 13 May 2022. During the operation, controlled drugs of about 6,227g of heroin, 724g of ‘Ice’, 20,438g of cannabis, 3g of New Psychoactive Substances (NPS), one ‘Ecstasy’ tablet, two bottles of liquid suspected to contain GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) and 16 methadone tablets were seized. The total amount of drugs seized during this 5-day island-wide operation have an estimated street value of more than $1,195,000, and is sufficient to feed of about 2,960 heroin abusers, 410 ‘Ice’ abusers and 2,910 cannabis abusers for a week.
2. Some of the areas covered during the island-wide operations included Ang Mo Kio, Bukit Batok and Yio Chu Kang. The youngest arrested is a 17-year-old female Singaporean for suspected drug abuse.
11 May 2022: More than 20kg of cannabis seized; Three suspected drug traffickers arrested in the vicinity of Bendemeer Road and Braddell Hill
3. In the evening of 11 May, CNB officers arrested a 57-year-old Singaporean man in the vicinity of Bendemeer Road and recovered a minute amount of heroin and cash amounting to $3,200 from him. In the same evening, CNB officers arrested a 65-year-old Singaporean man in a residential unit in the same vicinity. A total of about 821g of heroin and 16 methadone tablets were seized from the unit.
4. CNB followed up and arrested a 24-year-old Malaysian man on the ground floor of an apartment block in the vicinity of Braddell Hill, recovering about 952g of heroin and 4,093g of cannabis from him. The man was escorted to his hideout in the same block, where seven bundles containing about 4,298g of heroin and 16 bundles containing about 16,306g of cannabis were found and seized.
5. The drugs seized in this case have an estimated street value of more than $1,039,000, and is sufficient to feed the addiction of about 2,900 cannabis abusers and 2,900 heroin abusers for a week.

10 May 2022: In another case, three men arrested in the vicinity of Marine Crescent

In an unlinked case, CNB officers raided a residential unit in the vicinity of Marine Crescent in the afternoon of 10 May, arresting a 54-year-old Singaporean man for suspected drug trafficking activities and seizing a total of about 642g of ‘Ice’ and one ‘Ecstasy’ tablet, along with various drug paraphernalia, from within the unit.
7. Two Singaporean men, aged 25 and 58, were subsequently arrested in the same vicinity for suspected drug offences later the same day. About 8g of ‘Ice’ and drug paraphernalia were recovered from the 58-year-old man. The 54-year-old man and 25-year-old man were father and son.
8. The ‘Ice’ seized in this 10 May operation has an estimated street value of $130,000, and is sufficient to feed 370 ‘Ice’ abusers for a week.

9. Assistant Commissioner Leon Chan, Deputy Director CNB (Operations), said of the island-wide operation:
“Singapore’s open economy and connectedness as a regional transport hub, and its proximity to major drug-producing regions, places it in constant danger of being overwhelmed by an influx of narcotics. While the drug situation in Singapore is relatively under control, we cannot take this for granted.
Tough laws and the public’s continued support are key to achieving a drug-free Singapore. CNB too has not let up on our enforcement efforts, and we are continuing to target drug supply and demand within Singapore, together with the rest of the Home Team.
This latest haul of drugs has disrupted the syndicates, and CNB will continue to keep up the pressure on them. We are also controlling local demand with our dragnet operations targeting drug abusers.”
10. Under Section 5 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, it is an offence for a person, on his or her own behalf, or on behalf of any other person, whether or not that other person is in Singapore, to traffic in a controlled drug, offer to traffic in a controlled drug; or to do or offer to do any act preparatory to or for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug. If a person is found guilty of trafficking more than 15g of pure heroin (diamorphine), 250g of methamphetamine or 500g of cannabis, he or she may face the mandatory death penalty.
11. Investigations into the drug activities of all arrested suspects are ongoing.
A video emerged online shwoing a woman getting physically violent with a young boy at the side of a road.
She was seen in the video shouting at the young boy, before raising her leg to kick the little child as she bellowed at him.
The little boy was seen flinching and raising his arms to protect himself as the woman raised her hand and pointed at him.
The netizen who posted the video, Anama O’Reilly, said:
“I witnessed this woman screaming and kicking a young boy outside my window. The way he flinched looks like he gets hit on the regular. Where may we report such incidences?
UPDATE: Thanks to your attention and tagging, I have been contacted by investigators from the Singapore Police Force and they will investigate the situation! Thank you!”
A netizen, Henry Ng, shared videos of a gorup of students allegedly from an International School in Singapore, fighting and boxing at a void deck.
He then alleged that the students later fled the scene by climbing down a slope when the police later arrived.

Not the first time already. Then running away from the back of the block and car park when police arrive.
Previously informed the school regarding them fighting, littering, smoking and vaping, climbing staircase roof top, vandalising the walls and even lying down on floor and kissing in public.
Potential penalties
According to Chapter 224 of the Penal Code, anyone who disturbs public peace by fighting in public is guilty of committing an affray.
Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to one year and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
According to Chapter 321 of the Penal Code, anyone who performs an act that causes hurt to a person is guilty of Voluntarily Causing Hurt.
Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to 3 years and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
A video emerged online showing a couple of men seated on the ground, with both of their heads and faces being covered in blood.
Blood could also bee seen on the floor, as the two bloodied men sat on the ground, relaxed and chilling.
Another man carrying a sling bag could be seen in the video confronting and scolding one of the bloodied man who was sitting near the wall.
We couldn’t hear what was being said because the netizen decided to insert that irritating TikTok background music to cover the exchange between the men.
The netizen who posted the video didn’t reveal anything about what could’ve caused the bloody scenes, although netizens surmised that a fight could’ve broken out.

Earlier today (13 May) at about 6.35am, SCDF was alerted to a fire at the abovementioned location. The first SCDF resources arrived in six minutes.
The fire involved the contents of a living room in a unit on the 4th floor. SCDF extinguished the fire with one water jet.
During the firefighting operation, SCDF found four unconscious persons in the unit amidst a vast accumulation of combustible items. Three persons, including a toddler, were found in the bedroom while one person was found in the living room.
Due to the clutter in the bedroom, firefighters had to force their way into the bedroom to conduct the rescue operation. SCDF’s emergency medical services crew then commenced CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on two of the victims. All three persons were subsequently conveyed to Changi General Hospital.
The person found in the living room was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.
SCDF also conducted forcible entry into an adjacent residential unit and rescued three persons. They were assessed for minor injuries and subsequently refused conveyance to the hospital.
A total of 60 persons were evacuated from neighbouring units as a precautionary measure.
The cause of fire is under investigation.
Update: According to the Straits Times, the three persons found in the unit; the toddler and father died from their injuries, and the owner of the unit was pronounced dead at the scene. The mother of the toddler remains in critical condition.
The Police would like to remind members of the public to be wary of unsolicited spoofed messages purportedly sent by e-commerce platforms offering job opportunities to help merchants boost sales on the platforms. Since May 2022, there have been least 50 victims, with losses amounting to at least $430,000.
In these cases, victims would receive unsolicited messages advertising highly paid affiliate marketing related jobs via SMS, WhatsApp or social media platforms. The scammers would claim that commissions would be given upon the completion of simple tasks online.
Potential victims would then be directed to provide their personal details when they sign up for an account on a spoofed website resembling Lazada, and would subsequently asked to complete tasks in order to earn commissions. The job would often begin with simple tasks such as liking the products on the websites, where victims would earn $2 commission for each like. Victims who were able to withdraw the initial commissions earned, would typically be convinced that it was a legitimate job opportunity. Thereafter, victims would be promised commissions of up to 30% if they were to purchase items on the website. To make the purchase, victims would have to transfer money to bank accounts belonging to unknown individuals for credit in their accounts. These victims would eventually discover that they had been scammed when they were unable to withdraw from their accounts, or when the spoofed Lazada website has been removed.
The Police would like to remind members of the public that that Lazada does not conduct recruitment via SMS, WhatsApp or Telegram Chats. Lazada will also never direct you to a third-party website nor request for your personal details to sign up for jobs.
The Police would also like to advise members of the public to adopt the following precautionary measures:
Do not accept dubious job offers that promise lucrative returns for minimal effort;
Never download applications from unverified sources; and
Never send money to anyone whom you do not know or have not met in person before.

I emotionally cheated on my GF twice in 6 years. Who’s problem is this?
My GF and I were classmates in Poly and we got together back then. Due to my sleazy past, I had an inferiority complex that I was not good enough for her at the start. She made it very clear about this point but I loved her very much nonetheless. I went above and beyond to make up for my lack of confidence and pampered her. Over time, she simply took me for granted.
At the 2 years mark, I met my colleague, A. She was very nice to me, bought me breakfast every morning, cared for me when I was burnt out and we had a strong connection. We talked a lot at work naturally and our co-workers often urged us to get together. We had so much chemistry, and she confessed to me. If I said that I did not have feelings for A, I would have been lying. To close this chapter, I tendered my resignation and left as I cannot stand the fact of losing my GF whom I loved dearly. However, it was for a fact that at some point of time, someone else was slowly replacing her place in my heart.
It was also at the same job, I met B. The moment B walked into the room on her first day, A said that she was definitely going to be the one for me. B was our team’s temporary staff and I did not think much of our relationship back then. A was constantly jealous whenever I approached B for work so I kept my distance from her. At same point, my GF did pick up that something was amiss and checked my phone while I was in the showers. However, she had never confronted me and we left this matter as it is.
In my subsequent job, 3 years later, I met B again and we are from different teams. We had no reasons to communicate at work but we met on the way home and started talking about our first job together. Slowly, we went for lunch together once a month and somehow started texting each other outside of work. Our conversations are always filled with laughter. As a devoted Christian, she will not be able to accept my scandalous past and lack of virginity. So I always tried to keep a distance from her but we somehow had to work together on a project. And here I made a choice to leave my current workplace again as I cannot resist the pull towards B.
Throughout this whole time, my GF was often not understanding of my busy work schedule and was constantly making demands. I wanted to marry her 3 years ago but we could not get a BTO and she was not ready for a resale flat. Now that she is eager to get married but me, not so much. I am not blaming her and in fact, she is an amazing girlfriend. It’s just that I do not know how to effectively communicate with her. When discussing tough topics, she often have no opinions so there is not much of any discussion in our relationship.
If I really loved her that much, would A and B have the chance to catch my attention? Probably not. If my GF paid more attention to me, would A and B have the chance to catch my attention? Probably not. Should I break up with my GF and lose the stability that we have now?
