FAMILY LIVING IN HOME HAUNTED BY MANY SPIRITS, SEES HEADLESS FEMALE GHOST

0

My cousin saw what he believes to be a headless spirit.

I should probably start by saying, my cousin told me about this story right after seeing the spirit.

Some background information: My cousins live in a severely haunted home, that they believe is haunted by many spirits.

The actual story: It was around midnight, and something had woke up my cousin, he doesn’t remember what but he said he saw something in the corner of his eye.

He tries to get back to sleep no less than 5 minutes later, but is distracted again by what he seen however this time it’s closer to him.

He starts to question what it could possibly be and after falling asleep again he is woken up for a 2nd time, at this point it was around 12:30am, and my cousin is woken up again, he lays there for a moment, and he looks to his right and there is was.

A headless female looking spirit right next to him.

It takes my cousin a second to react as he fully didn’t come to his senses and then it hit him. He jumps out of bed and goes to his parents and explains what he had just seen.

His parents go and check and find nothing.

From this point onwards, his parents believed he was imagining things, but to this day my cousin believes that what he saw on that night was 100% real.

“FREELANCE GIRL” FELL IN LOVE WITH MARRIED MAN, WANTS HIM TO DIVORCE

0

Tldr (very long post ahead): I fell in love with a married man through my freelance work. Things got complicated, he is divorcing his wife and I don’t know what to do now.

I was a freelancer (if you know what I mean) and I met him through an app. I’m 27 and he’s 37. Due to problems with his marriage which has been going on for years (I knew that from the start, I’ve known him for 1 year already), this was where he turned to. His wife doesn’t know about us and has never known about any of the girls he had met before. He ended up falling for me due to certain parts of my character and personality that he liked which apparently his wife lacks in, and the chemistry is there. We just click.

Before things got complicated, this was all just transactional to me. I was okay with meeting him everytime he asked since he treats me well, more like a paid FWB thing making it feel less of a “chore” when I meet him as compared to other men. And his married status gave me the comfort that this man just wanted someone to spend his free time with to temporarily get away from his problems at home. Later on, the meet ups became “weirder” as he asked me out for occasional movies, dinner, massage, gym, and even a staycation. It literally felt like we were dating.

A year later, he eventually confessed to me and I admitted that I fell for him too. I stopped my freelancing and he stopped meeting other girls and we have been “exclusive” for a couple months already even before we confessed our feelings to each other.

I never wanted nor expected anything more because of his marital status as I thought that I was just a girl to pass his time and things will be over between us when he resolves his marriage problems or when he finds another girl. But I was wrong and I also ended up falling for his personality and actions.

Since his confession, he also told me that he is divorcing his wife, but it will take some time to settle the divorce and their house matters, so I would have to wait 1 year before we can officially be together. At first we set a date a year from now, once this date has passed, I’m gone and I’m not waiting any longer, and we agreed on it. I know that he’s sincere about this because I know the situation with his wife (long story- but she initiated the divorce). I’ve read his conversations with her and I’m even the one he spends every night with. He shares with me all the details about his life. I tried talked him out of it many times before as I felt bad being a third party… but he insisted on going through with the divorce as he feels this marriage cannot be saved anymore.

Just recently, he told me that he wanted to extend this date to a month longer as he saw the wrong date for his house matter (something about the 5th year mark to be able to sell off the house and get some money back). I cant explain how I felt upon hearing it- firstly I already agreed to wait so long- a year for him to settle what he needs to. I didn’t ask for anything else be it material things or whatever at all. Secondly it’s not my fault that he saw the wrong date, we agreed on this timeline and he should’ve checked before he agreed with me. It feels unfair for me to give him the benefits of girlfriend (/mistress) while he has a wife it’s like he is benefiting from both of us and I have to wait around, although I know that there’s nothing going on between them anymore. I know it’s just a month longer than agreed but this extension request is making me feel like I might not be patient enough to wait. Or maybe I’m just worried that somehow a miracle happens and he decides to stay with his wife and I would have ended up wasting all my time.

I told him I honestly don’t know if I could wait that long, but he wants me to give him a definite answer and he’s pleading me to agree to wait just a little longer. I just really don’t know if I should agree to this or just end it altogether. I know I’m complicating my life by being in this situation when I could just, not be in it. The thing is I really feel that his feelings and actions towards me are sincere and what if all this is worth it in the end? But then what if it’s not?

Someone please knock this brain of mine and help me out… I know I’ll get a lot of hate for being a “home wrecker” sure.. hate me.. go on but please just please tell me what I should do..

15 Y.O BOY BEING INVESTIGATED FOR IMPERSONATION SCAM

The Singapore Police Force issued a press release about the arrest of a 25-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of China Officials Impersonation Scam.

They added that a 15-year-old boy is also being investigated for his suspected involvement in the case.

Here is what they said

The Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of China Officials Impersonation Scam (“COIS”). A 15-year-old youth is also being investigated for his suspected involvement in the case.

On 26 April 2022, the Police received a report that a 21-year-old man went missing. Later, the parents of the victim, who were based in China, received a photograph and a video of the victim and ransom demands from an unknown person in China. Pursuant to the report, officers from Ang Mo Kio Division, Woodlands Division, Airport Police Division, Criminal Investigation Department, Police Intelligence Department and Commercial Affairs Department conducted extensive searches and investigations to locate the 21-year-old man who was eventually found to be safe and sound in the vicinity of Airport Boulevard on 27 April 2022.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim had received an unsolicited call from a scammer who claimed to be a police officer from China. The scammer claimed that there was a police warrant against him in China for money laundering offences and later instructed the victim to stop all communications with his family and friends. The scammer also instructed him to take photograph and record a video of himself, with make-up of “bruises” on his face and arms, to assist in the purported investigations. Without the victim’s knowledge, the scammer later sent the photograph and video to the victim’s parents in China and demanded a ransom to be paid for his release.

Preliminary investigations also revealed that the 25-year-old man and 15-year-old youth are believed to be victims of a COIS. The 25-year-old man had purportedly acted on the scammer’s instructions to hand over a mobile phone with SIM card to the victim for the victim’s communication with the scammer whilst the 15-year-old youth had allegedly purchased and handed over several items such as a mobile phone with a SIM card, dried food, cosmetics, rope, bandage tape, and other items to the victim under the scammer’s instructions. Police investigations are ongoing.

Those found guilty for the offence of cheating under Section 420 of the Penal Code 1871 face an imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years and a fine. Those found guilty for the offence of money laundering under the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992, also face a penalty of an imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years, a fine not exceeding $500,000, or both.

The Police take a serious view against any person who may be involved in scams, whether knowingly or unwittingly, and they would be dealt with severely in accordance with the law.

The Police would like to highlight that the China Police, INTERPOL and other overseas law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have no jurisdiction to conduct operations in Singapore, arrest anyone or ask members of the public to help with any form of investigations without the approval of the Singapore Government.

The Police would also like to advise members of the public to take the following precautions when they receive unsolicited calls, especially from unknown parties, especially those with the “+” prefix which originate overseas:

  • Ignore such calls and the caller’s instructions. No government agency will instruct payment through a telephone call or other social messaging platforms (WeChat or Facebook), or ask you for personal banking information such as your internet banking passwords;
  • For foreigners receiving calls from persons claiming to be from Police in your home country, call your Embassy/High Commission to verify the claims of the caller;
  • Refrain from giving out your personal information and bank details, whether on the website or to callers over the phone. Personal information and bank details such as internet bank account usernames and passwords, OTP codes from tokens, are useful to criminals;
  • Do not make any fund transfers if the caller is of dubious identity;
  • Call a trusted friend or talk to a relative before you act. You may be overwhelmed by emotion and err in your judgment; and
  • If in doubt, always hang up the call and check with the Singapore Police Force.

If you have any information related to such crime, please call the Police Hotline at 1800-255 0000, or dial ‘999’ for urgent Police assistance.

To seek scam-related advice, members of the public may call the Anti-Scam Hotline at 1800-722-6688 or go to www.scamalert.sg. Do share this advisory with your family and friends to prevent them from being the next scam victim.

WOMAN ACCUSED INNOCENT HUSBAND OF CHEATING, MARRIAGE FELL APART

0

I accused my ex-husband of cheating on me when he wasn’t. Now he’s engaged to the woman I accused him of cheating with.
I’m 39f. My recently ex- husband is 38m. We were married for ten years before divorcing last year. I accused him of cheating on me, I didn’t believe when he told me he was working longer shifts at work since we still always seemed tight on cash, I thought he was cheating on me with a woman who lived down the street, Jen, 30f, since I saw she was on his recent calls quite a few times, both phone calls/video calls, and I saw her name pop up multiple times sending him texts throughout the week, but my husband doesn’t keep texts from anyone so I didn’t know what they were.

I confronted him about it and although I didn’t outright accuse him of cheating I was definitely angry about feeling like he was hiding something from me, and made that clear.

As it turned out, he was working extra hours and putting the money into a separate account to surprise me with a groundbreaking for an extension on our house on the ten year anniversary of us buying it. The conversations with the Jen were him coordinating with her watching the kids while both of us were working while the daycare was closed (when he picked up extra weekend shifts) and the phone calls/video calls were him checking on the kids. He was able to verify all of this with bank account records, emails to and from the builder, and screenshots of the messages between her and him from her end of the conversation. I apologized to him for not believing him, but at this point he said he couldn’t believe that I would ever think he was cheating on me. He said he felt incredibly hurt and said that he would never think something like that about me, and that he never would’ve assumed the worst about me. He asked for space so we first went to living in separate bedrooms, then after a bit he moved into the basement, the entire time he was acting strange and distant and like a stranger to me, only acting normal around the kids.

After a few weeks of that he officially asked for a divorce. I asked if we could do couples therapy first, and he said that there was no point since I didn’t trust him, but eventually he agreed, we went to one session and he admitted that him realizing I had no faith in him after he was working so hard for our family really hurt his self confidence and he didn’t think it was something he could repair while he was still with me, and he again asked for a divorce.

He bought me out of my half of the house, which I put towards a small house close by and our kids split their time between us.

I heard that he began dating Jen from my friend, who lives down the street from him. At first my ex insisted that she was still just helping with the kids, but after four months he admitted they were dating, once the extension was done she moved in and yesterday he asked her to marry him.

I’m happy for him but there’s still a part of me that feels shocked and somewhat resentful this all happened. I feel as though it was a happy surprise if he had told me about his plans for the extension none of this would have happened.

ETA someone asked if I knew she was watching my kids- no, I didn’t. I assumed they were at home with my husband while I was working.

MAN ADDICTED TO SMELL OF MASSAGE PARLOURS, BUYS SOAP FROM THEM

I really like the smell of the cheap soap massage parlour use, smells like a baby soap but also smell so relaxing.

I know a lot of people will say that Im crazy and maybe I am, I bought 1L of the soap from the massage parlours.

But hear me out, good and bad memories are tight to our senses, it was my heavenly experience in the massage parlour that tied me to the smell of the soap.

Every time I smell it I can’t help that my ‘little brother’ becomes marikita.

It’s like you walk pass KFC you will think of friend chicken. It’s the same thing. So next time I need to ‘relieve’ myself all I need to do is smell the soap.

Everyone is crazy in their ownway, maybe for me just a little bit more.

WOMAN’S 76 Y.O ELDERLY FATHER MISSING, LAST SEEN @ TELOK KURAU

0

A Facebook user, Tamara Yee, shared earlier today (29 April) how her father has gone missing and is appealing for information about his whereabouts.

Here is what she said

Hi all, my father has gone missing today. He was last seen at home in Telok Kurau, and discovered he had left his home at 6am (could have gone between 2-6am).

We’ve checked his usual haunts and filed a police report and are calling hospitals, but we’d appreciate any help for extra eyes on the ground.

My dad’s name is Joseph Yee, 76 yr old and left the house without any mask, ID or bus pass.

Below is a picture of him, and was last seen wearing the t-shirt in the full length photo. If anyone spots him, please contact me.

Thank you all so much!

GUY CRYING BECAUSE GF GOT CLOSE TO CO-WORKER, WANT TO GO BALI TOGETHER

0

My girlfriend recently got close to this colleague at work and in my opinion she spends too much time with him.

They initially started going out for dinner together 1 on 1 ( I was fine with it as she informed me about it beforehand and didn’t hide it from me).

Subsequently, the colleague started to send her back home on an almost daily basis though he really stays out of the way. It seems that they are getting closer together while my relationship with her is drifting apart; he even went over her house to jog with her 2 weeks ago wtf? I openly expressed my disapproval of her colleague many times and told my girlfriend that he has ulterior motives. She insisted there was nothing between them and they were just friends. She then accused me of lacking trust in our relationship and we ended fighting a few times because of this issue.

A few days ago, while we were together at her house I was so insecure that I stalked her phone while she was bathing  (I know it is wrong, but I really had to find out what was happening between them), and found out that she was planning a trip with him to Bali together in December?! And in their chat there were several romantic exchanges, some bordering on the kinky side. I didn’t know what to make of it at that point of time; were they just merely joking/toying with each other or what? I was so upset that I cried and left her house immediately, citing that I had urgent work to attend to.

Till now I have not confronted her about this as I don’t want to start a big fight again. I 100% certain that colleague of hers is hitting on her and I don’t believe she is oblivious to this. I really love her a lot (we have been together for 7 years) and I don’t want to lose her at all, but the red flags are so obvious.

I am having sleepless nights and crying alone a few times a day because of this, help me.

GIRL GOT SLAPPED BY HER DATE THAT HER FRIEND INTRODUCED

0

I got slapped by a guy my friend introduced to me. To this day, she doesn’t believe me

This happened months ago, but I saw her today and felt a wave of memories take over me… so here we go.

My friend and classmate (whom I had known for years and was my ride or die) said she had this single male friend. He was into the same hobbies as me, plus had a similar career choice as me. Being friends with my bestie turned it all into 3 pros and no cons.

So I accept to meet him at a café and it was overall pretty lovely. He was the epitome of nice guy, no apparent red flags. The date was a perfect balance of communication; no one “hoarded” the conversation nor became obsessed with a single topic. 0 phones, too.

We drink our tea and he treats me to some cake just so we can chat for longer. At this point I was really comfortable with him. My friend was Cupid IRL!

Or so I thought. Cause when the date ended and I went to get on the bus, he insisted on taking me home. I had just moved into that place after leaving my shabby, leaky student dorm so I sadly couldn’t risk it. Let alone after a first date. I calmly rejected his offer and said I was not ready for that just yet. Nothing personal.

And his attitude changed. His smile was gone. His jaw was clenched. Called me a time-waster and said I probably assumed he just wanted to sleep with me.

And you know what? I could’ve argued with him for hours but nope. I was not gonna deal with tantrums.

Thanked him for the cake, said I was gonna take the bus indeed and that I would not be seeing him again.

Everything else was a blur. I don’t know what he yelled at me, but I do know that a few seconds later I had my head to the side, skin stinging and hot to the touch.

He left in his car and I called my friend in tears.

She didn’t believe me. Said I probably provoked him. “He’s so sweet with me, I’m not gonna cut him off!”

I lost a friend over a man that hits girls on the first date.

Hope her internalized misogyny doesn’t ever get her hurt. She doesn’t deserve to be in my position.
