GUY ARRESTED, THEN HEADBUTTS POLICEMAN AND BROKE HIS NOSE

Muhammad Fiqkri Jaffri, pleaded guilty on 7 April to two counts of voluntarily causing grievous hurt to a public servant.

He also pleaded guilty to one count of vandalism, one count of criminal intimidation, and one count of being a member of a secret society.

He had assaulted a policeman with his twin brother and inflicted a traumatic brain injury on the victim.

He was later arrested, and he then headbutted another police officer and broke his nose.

And when he was in the rear seat of a police car, he then kicked the door of the vehicle and damaged it, the resulting repairs amounted to more than $1,200.

His twin brother, Muhammad Farhan Jaffri, was previously dealt with, being sentenced to 33 months and 4 weeks in jail, along with 3 stories of the cane and a fine of $3,500.

The two brothers were drinking from a bottle of whiskey before the incident happened on 23 February 2020.

Farhan then had an argument with his wife at the void deck of Block 755 Jurong West Street 74 at about 4am.

The police then arrived at the scene, including Sergeant Chong Jia Wei, 27, and Staff Sergeant Tity Sumarni Abd Ghani, 35.

Staff Sgt Sumarni asked them if they were alright, and Farhan then hurled obscenities at the policewoman. His brother Fiqkri, who was living in the block, then showed up at the scene.

Fiqkri then aggressively approached the police officers and pointed his finger in their faces, demanding to know what was wrong.

He then told his brother and his wife to go back home and at the same time, gestured at the police and told them to “shut up” and to “zip” their mouths.

Farhan then used vulgarities on Staff Sgt Sumarni and left the scene, before returning a few minutes later and telling his brother that he “did not like Sgt Chong’s face”.

Fiqkri then asked Farhan if he wanted to punch Chong while holding up his fist.

The two men then attacked Sgt Chong, resulting in a serious head injury, and two other officers managed to restrain Farhan.

Staff Sgt Sumarni then used her baton to strike Fiqkri, and instead of cooperating, Fiqkri taunted the policewoman and told her that he was a member of a secret society.

Two more officers then arrived at the scene, including Sgt Chen Jian Da, 28. Fiqkri was then arrested and handcuffed, and he then headbutted Chen in the face.

The two injured police officers were conveyed to the hospital, where Chong spent 2 days in a neurosurgery ward and was given 29 days hospitalisation leave.

Chen was given 5 days of outpatient leave for a fractured nasal bone.

Fiqkri is due to be sentenced on 23 May.

GUY CALLED WOMAN “MOMMY” WHEN GETTING INTIMATE, SHE STOPPED TALKING TO HIM

0

I called a woman “mommy” dujring intimacy on Wednesday night and I don’t think she liked it. She hasn’t talked to me since.

honestly I’m pretty embarrassed. I’m a 27yo man for context. We aren’t officially in a relationship, Wednesday was our 4th date and we went to my place after dinner for drinks and a movie.

Well we ended up sleeping together and it was incredible. Honestly it might have been the best I’ve ever had.

I was on edge the whole time and desperately trying to hold back because I’m usually pretty quick and I didn’t want to disappoint.

Well eventually she got on top and started riding me and was talking dirty while pressing her chest into my face.

I think she knew I didn’t have much more left and she said “Are you gonna come for me?” That pushed me over the edge and opened the floodgates.

I accidentally moaned “Yes! Uhhh, MOMMY!”

I’ve never called a woman mommy during moments like this before so I don’t know where it came from but I could tell by the look on her face I don’t think she liked it.

I was super embarrassed and she didn’t stay long after that and hasn’t responded to my texts since.

A 48-year-old female Singaporean engineer reportedly fell 7 storeys to her death while performing maintenance work at CapitaSpring, an office building, yesterday (8 April).

The deceased was working on the maintenance level that was above the 16th storey of the building, she then stepped on a false ceiling panel and it gave way, and she fell 30 metres and landed on the 9th floor, according to a MOM spokesperson.

The SCDF said that they received a call for help at about 10.55am, and paramedics then pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

MOM is looking into the incident and Ascott has since been told to stop all access to the maintenance level.

They said: “As a general safety measure, fragile surfaces should be marked clearly and conspicuously to warn of the risk of falling from height.”

CapitaSpring expressed their sadness about the passing of an employee of their contactor and is extending assistance to the family.

22 Y.O M’SIAN GIRL WENT MISSING AFTER MEETING “CUSTOMER” AT NIGHT

Malaysia – A female insurance broker Xie Minrong (22 years old) disappeared after seeing meeting a customer at night. It has been more than 19 hours and there is still no news.

Before the woman disappeared, she sent a text message to inform her boyfriend and mother that she decided to go to Johor Bahru to get work due to unsatisfactory work and financial problems.

Phone turned off

Since she has turned off her phone and lost contact, her family has reported her missing to the police.

The last time and place where the missing woman appeared was at 7pm in Kuala Lumpur

His boyfriend Chen Zhenghao (23 years old) pointed out in an interview that there was nothing abnormal before his girlfriend disappeared, so when he received the text message, he was very surprised.

He said that his girlfriend has been under a lot of work pressure recently, and she has not received a salary for two months. Under the economic pressure, it is not ruled out that she will be emotional.

“In the past, even if she was in a bad mood, she would still report her whereabouts to her family and me. We share GPS locations and found that she lost contact at 7 o’clock in the evening until I left work at 12 o’clock, and the location was still in the same place. I don’t think it’s right.”

Chen Zhenghao said that usually his girlfriend doesn’t see a client for more than 2 hours, so he and his family have reported their disappearance to the police.

She left home with her passport

He said that when his girlfriend lost contact, he also took his passport away, but after police inspection, they found that the woman had no record of leaving the country.

She said that the police found her car at 12AM today in Setapak (Selangor)

“The nearby CCTV saw that the woman suspected to be Xie Minrong had checked in at a nearby hotel”

GUY GOT A HAIRCUT FROM BARBER FOR $60, SAYS “THIS IS WILD”

0

60$? For a haircut? Really? I get it, barbers have to make ends meet too, but come on sometimes it’s ridiculous.

I go to my barber every 2 weeks and have for 3 years. Until recently it’s been 20 dollars, which is already kinda expensive.

All I get is a boosted fade and a line up. No designs, no special treatment no nothing. It takes 15 minutes.

I think $20 is fully adequate. I was shocked when he told me how much. But 60? that is a quarter of my part time salary.

I’m a broke student. And my hair grows so fast and I’m not trying to look homeless, and I want to support him since he’s been my barber for years, but damn.

Like god damn. This is wild.

Netizens’ comments

  • Bruh, I’ll shave my head before I pay $60 for a haircut
  • If you aren’t doing anything crazy, cut your own hair. I’ve been cutting my hair since like 2014 and I’ve only had to buy 2 sets of clippers.

I’ve spent about $50 in haircuts since 2014 and it only takes me about ten minutes. My older brothers done the same, and my dad has done the same. Started in his 20’s and he’s 59 now. Think of how much money has been saved not getting haircuts every 2-4 weeks over this time.

You have low risk of doing anything bad cuz clippers have guards, so you pretty much cant accidentally give yourself a bald spot or something.

MAN PAID $8888 PACKAGE FOR VIETNAM WIFE, END UP RUN AWAY

0

A man recently shared his story of how his Vietnam wife ran away months after getting married.

Here is his story:

So I’m already in my 40s and I don’t really have the opportunity to meet anyone since my company has converted to 100% working from home and letting go of the office for cost-saving reasons and my social circle is all full of married people.

So I took the advice of my friend and went to a Vietnam bride agency, they gave me options to choose a package. Where I can meet 1 or 2 of them or several of them in the VIP $8888 package.

I decided to get the best package as I do not want to save money for finding the right partner. The agency flew 5 of them over after I picked them from the catalogue.

Most of them are in their early 20s and seem to be very young, 4 of them could speak mandarin and 1 could not. One of them caught my eye with a sweet smile and I thought that this was going to be a happy ending.

But deep down I know that there is an age gap and I would be a lot of patience.

Ran away

I did not host a grand wedding ceremony as I was not really proud of “buying a bride”, only my closest friends attended the ROM and we started living together.

Initially, there were some cultural differences and I am unable to eat her food except beef pho as I am not much of a vegetable eater. Luckily, she has some friends in Singapore and I thought that she will slowly adjust to Singapore after 2 months but I was so wrong.

So as per usual, I woke up with the smell of breakfast and I went to brush my teeth. But she was not home.

I assumed that she have gone to the supermarket and I continued working my day job from home. But after a few hours, I called her and the phone was off. Then I realised that there was a paper in the kitchen with the word “Sorry”.

I opened Facebook and contacted my wife’s friend who is also a Vietnamese bride.

She replied to me in a voice message in Mandarin saying “She needs time, She says you are too old she is very difficult with me”

I started to get worried and I called the bride agency but they told me that there was nothing they can do.

This is when I started to recall that all the smiles she had with me were quite fake…

She is an adult and she is not missing and there is nothing much I could do. I tried to contact her friend to get her back but my wife simply refused.

After 3 months I filed for an annulment of the marriage, really burn money…
