YOUNG PUNKS NO WEAR MASK, GATHER IN GROUP OF 12 TO SHARE THE VIRUS

A photo emerged online showing a group of YPs gathering illegally in a group of 12.

They were seen without their masks on and neglecting social distancing as well.

Current Covid-19 regulations dictate a maximum group size of 5 persons.

MAID FILM HERSELF VAPING THEN DANCE AND FLASH GANG SIGN

A video emerged online showing a maid filming herself vaping in the kitchen.

She then broke into a dance and started shaking her backside.

She then took a photo of herself flashing a gang sign.

Under section 16(2A) of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act (TCASA), it is illegal to possess, purchase and use vaporisers in Singapore as of 1 February 2018.

Persons found guilty of this offence can be fined up to $2,000.

67 Y.O UNCLE SLAPS & PUNCHED 12 Y.O BOY AT HOUGANG GETS JAILED

67-year-old Chua Chek Yong thinks that he is old and the younger people should listen to him confronted a 12-year-old boy who was cycling.

By exercising his authority on a 12-year-old he felt that he could boost his ego as an old man.

The man confronted the boy and told him not to cycle in the neighbourhood and told the boy to cycle on the footpath instead, the boy initially comply but returned later. The boy told the man that LTA allows cycling here but the man was not happy and said “You don’t argue with me”.

The man then threatens to damage his bicycle and started slapping and punching the boy several times. The boy started filming the man as evidence to protect himself.

The boy was punched in the face at Block 438 Hougang Avenue 8. Luckily, a passerby saw the commotion and protected the boy from further assault and help him called his parents.

The man was eventually arrested and jailed for 5 days.

60 Y.O AND ABOVE TO GET COVID-19 VACCINE BOOSTER SHOTS, 3RD SHOT COMING

Earlier today, Multi-ministry task force member Gan Kim Yong said that the country will be giving COVID-19 vaccine booster shots to those who are 60-years-old and above and those who are moderate to severely immunocompromised.

The first batch of seniors who completed their two shots back in March will be eligible for the 3rd shot this month.

The Ministry of Health will announce more details later.

USA also going for 3rd dose

Moderna Inc. said that it has submitted preliminary data to the US Food and Drug Administration for approval of a third-dose booster of its Covid-19 vaccine, fueling a controversy about the necessity for further injections.

In a clinical experiment, the booster injection boosted antibody levels against the delta version by more than 40-fold, according to the firm, which employed a lower dose of 50 micrograms, which is half the dose used in the current vaccination.

AH LONG SPLASH PAINT AT HDB UNIT, THREATEN RESIDENT OVER MONEY OWED

Photos emerged online showing the aftermath of Ah Longs harassing and splashing paint at the unit of a resident.

The front gate of the unit was seen covered in red paint, as the Ah Long also left a threatening note for the resident.

The note reads: “This time i came with warning and paint. Second time will not like this. Now you better settle to me 4k, if not have I will come again! Contact and settle.”

Paint was also seen splattered on the potted plants on the corridor.

The incident happened at Blk 60, Geylang Bahru.

VIETS IN LOCKDOWN TRY TO ESCAPE, KENA HANDCUFFED AND SWABBED

A video emerged online showing the chaos and mayhem in Vietnam during their lockdown.

A woman was seen trying to escape while being confronted and caught by a group donning PPE, handcuffing her.

Another man was also seen handcuffed and swabbed on the spot.

216 NEW LOCAL CASES, 109 UNLINKED CASES FOR SEPTEMBER 3

As of 3 September 2021, 12pm, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 216 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection. 

56 are linked to previous cases, and have already been placed on quarantine. 51 are linked to previous cases and were detected through surveillance. 109 are currently unlinked. Amongst the cases are 2 seniors above 70 years who are unvaccinated/ partially vaccinated, and are at risk of serious illness.

In addition, there are 3 imported cases, who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore. 2 were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while 1 developed the illness during SHN or isolation. 

In total, there are 219 new cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore today.

We are still working through the details of the cases, and further updates will be shared via the MOH press release that will be issued tonight. 

DRUNK WOMAN CALLED VALET TO DRIVE HER HOME, BUT VALET DRIVER ALSO DRUNK

A video emerged online showing a woman being driven in a car by a valet driver.

The woman was purportedly drunk, so she called a valet driver to drive her home.

However, the valet driver was also purportedly a little bit tipsy himself, as he beat a red light with the woman’s car.

The woman then shouted: “RED LIGHT LEH, WHAT YOU DOING?!”

“I DON’T WANT YOU TO DRIVE ANYMORE, YOU GET OUT OF THE CAR!”

AH BENG BREACH SHN, GO OUT MEET FRIEND SMOKE & JALAN JALAN, KENA SAMAN $11K

Gorden Wong Jun Yuan, 20-years-old, pleaded guilty to 2 charges under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020, with each charge falling under the Infectious Diseases (Covid-19 Stay Orders) Regulations 2020 and the Infectious Diseases Act.

He was fined $11,000 on 2 September for breaching his SHN to meet his friend during last year’s circuit breaker after being diagnosed with an upper respiratory tract infection.

The 20 year old, who was a full time NSF at the time, did not test positive for the coronavirus.

Seven other similar charged were considered during sentencing.

What did he do?

Wong had a dry cough, runny nose and a sore throat; and he then went to Bukit Merah Polyclinic on 15 April 2020 where he was given a 5-day MC and instructed to stay home for the duration of his MC.

But the fella then left home the next day to smoke and video call his friends.

Then on 4 May, Wong met a friend during the circuit breaker to visit a supermarket to buy food and drinks, as well as to smoke.

Then on 15 May, he went back to the polyclinic because he had similar symptoms and was given another 5 days MC, and he was ordered to stay home again.

However, 2 days later on 17 May, fella met his friend to drink beer and smoke near his home at Telok Blangah.

Then on 19 May, he left home again to cut his hair.

He was later caught when his SCDF reporting officer found out that he had not been home during his MC period and reported him to the ICA.

UNFILIAL DAUGHTER TAKE KNIFE THREATEN OWN MOTHER, JAILED 6 WEEKS

Chua Hui Shan, 35-years-old, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal intimidation and was sentenced to 6 week imprisonment on 1 September.

Another charge under the Protection from Harassment Act was considered during sentencing.

She had threatened her 71-year-old mother with a knife.

What happened?

Chua lives with her mother and worked as a cashier at a Sheng Siong supermarket outlet located in Chin Swee Road.

She asked her supervisor to lend her $50 on 12 June, citing that she owed money to Ah Longs.

Her request was rejected, so she sent her supervisor voice messages via Whatsapp, telling him (in Mandarin) that if he doesn’t lend her money, she would “kill (her) mother, I dare to do it, if don’t believe you can try”.

She then took a knife from the kitchen and placed the knife on her mother’s neck, telling her that she wanted to kill her.

She then took a photo and pushed her mother away, before sending the photo to her supervisor, who was shocked and told their store manager about what happened.

Chua didn’t picked up the manager’s call, he then called the police and she was later arrested.
