A 14-year-old XMM shared that she is “very close” with a guy friend.
The guy then “suddenly” wanted to have s*x with her, which she doesn’t want to.
So the girl shared a post online about it, anonymously.
The guy then saw the post online and suspected that she was the one who posted it, so he went to her house to check her phone and found out that it was indeed her.
He then tried to rape her, but only managed to take her top off because she was shouting for help.
Many netizens have shared with us that they were turned away at coffee shops and hawker centres even though dining in is allowed.
One of them mentioned he thought that he could finally eat out with his wife as per the rules allowing vaccinated and unvaccinated to dine-in together at hawker centres up to groups of 2.
Another said that he saw many people arguing with the staff manning the entrance and exit about why they cannot dine in even though the laws allow.
However, a quick check online with the new rulings have showed that Food and Beverage outlets have the discretion to amend the Safe Management Measures to their own preference.
We talked to a stall owner at one of these outlets, and she said that hawker centres now rather lose some businesses by controlling the dining in capacity rather than let a few black sheep ruin the whole situation and go into another closure again.
A netizen shared a story about an experience he had on the first night of the Hungry Ghost Month.
Here is the story:
“It was the first day of the lunar 7th month, but to me it was a day just like any other.
I was visiting my girlfriend’s home at Ang Mo Kio, and we spent the whole day together just hanging out.
Soon it was evening and after we had dinner together, it was time for me to go home.
For some reasons, the corridor and staircase lights didn’t seem to be working very well that night.
The lights were flickering and a few of them were totally dead, but I paid no heed to it – I figured the Town Council would’ve fixed it soon enough.
I reached the ground floor and was walking to my motorcycle when i realized that I had forgotten my keys.
So I went back to the lift lobby and pressed the lift button.
The lift soon arrived and I entered, I pressed the button for the 12th floor where my girlfriend lived.
I looked up at the lift display and saw the lift going up: 1st storey… 2nd storey… 3rd storey…
But the lift then took me up to the 13th floor, skipping the 12th floor which I pressed, which was puzzling to me.
The lift doors then opened and the corridors outside were pitch black.
I stepped out of the lift and looked around me, all the corridor lights were completely off and the units were all in darkness (I could see inside the units through the windows).
I wasn’t sure what I was feeling but at the time I felt a sense of… How should I describe it… Like a sense of impending doom, like something bad was about to happen.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood on ends and I hurriedly returned to the lift.
I quickly closed the doors and pressed the 12th floor button.
I then went back to my girlfriend’s house and told her what happened, she seemed in disbelief.

An ex-student of Temasek Polytechnic has recently shared with us about a haunting experience she personally encountered while studying in Temasek Polytechnic.
Here is her story
“About 15 years ago, I was a freshmen in Temasek Polytechnic. I did not believe in supernatural things all my life till this encounter that I faced while studying there.
I remember it was close to 7pm when I entered the female toilet to do my business. While I was doing my business halfway, the lights in the toilet suddenly went dim.
Suddenly, the smell of frangipani flowers flooded the air, and I heard a very eerie high pitch laughter.
The doors to the cubicles beside me suddenly began to slam open one by one, and the laughter was getting louder and louder.
As the doors beside my cubicle slammed open and open till it was the cubicle beside mine, I suddenly heard the spirit saying very cheekily “SATU LAGI” which meant “last one” in Malay and laughing hysterically.
I fainted after that and when I woke up, my friends were beside me and I was breaking out in cold sweat.
My friends tried to ask me what happen and I told them that I was tired and fell asleep because I did not want to scare them.
Ever since that encounter, I have never dared to step into that toilet again.”
