Last night(Aug 11), Minister for Health Ong Ye Kung posted an advisory on Facebook for those that have questions about vaccination protocol and topics on dine-in.
One of the important topics highlighted by the Minister talks about those who used other people’s vaccination certs to “cheat” their way into F&B establishments.
Here is what he said in his Facebook post:
What happens if someone uses another person’s certificate?
Don’t do that. We are aware such illegal practices are going on. The authorities will enforce against this, and offenders will face severe penalties. It is not worth it. Take a PET if you have to attend a dinner or event.
There has been an image of how to say different numbers in sets of Tens in Mandarain going around on Facebook recently.
Seeing that many people in Singapore cannot get the terms right, we decided to share it so that all can learn the terms in Mandarain properly.
Thank us in future when you manage to impress your Chinese businessmen with the correct usage of these numerical terms, or even better when you manage to kao some Chinese girls.

Following Scarlett Johansson’s decision to sue Disney back in July for allegedly breaching her contract, Disney has reportedly responded by severing all ties with her.
Johansson sued Disney in late July, alleging that Disney breached her contract by releasing Black Widow on Disney+ as well as in theatres at the same time.
The basis of the lawsuit is that her salary was agreed to be primarily based on the release in cinemas, with Marvel reportedly agreeing that the film would not be released on Disney+ at the same time as the theatre run.
Disney has now cut all ties with Johansson and scrapped the upcoming Tower of Terror film.
Johansson is also believed to not be reprising her role as Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I have a question for couples in a serious r/s. If your SO started following micro-influencers months after your relationship had become official, is that something to be wary of? My bf and I are together for a year and i always assumed that we have a strong r/s, sharing with each other how our day went every day and any trouble we faced etc.
Recently, i realised my boyfriend the following count has increased by 20+ even though he has not met anyone new over the last few months. When i looked into his following list, I realised he has been following many Asian micro-influencers ~5-70k followers who pose in sexy swimwear or tight-fitting photos. Some even had their Instagram account set as private.
It came as quite a shock to me as he often expressed his displeasure towards influencers who exposes their body for fame and money so I did not expect him to be following them, much less liking their photos. As those models have really voluminous bodies, I felt a new sense of insecurity as i am the exact opposite of them.
The fact that he had always reassured me on how big boobs and big butts are not his type, his actions of following and liking their photos goes against his words. Furthermore, i realised he has only started following the models 3 months ago.
I tried asking him about it but he brushed it off saying they are just photos he see online and since he only likes them and does not comment on it and won’t ever meet them, there’s no reason for me to be sensitive or worried about.
Im not sure if this is happening because I’m not good enough for him and does not meet his standards, hence he resorted to following influencers? My male friends and brothers were never interested in these model influencers and definitely not the least bit interested in liking and following other girls online once they got into a relationship.
Im trying to understand from his POV but im really unsure now..
A 43-year-old man, Chin Khai Shong, was engaging in a sexual activity with a 15-year-old boy at a staircase when he was caught in the act by 2 police officers.
He was jailed 7 months for committing an obscene act with a minor.
The two had met in January 2019 through Blued, a gay mobile dating app.
They agreed to meet up for sex at a HDB staircase at about 7pm the next day.
The chatted and touched each other over their clothes for an hour before the boy went home to retrieve some baby oil and Vaseline, a lubricant.
He then returned to the staircase.
The two then started engaging in a sexual act using the lubricants but were then interrupted by a couple of police officers.
It is not clear how the police officers knew about the offence.
A woman who seeking some luck with gambling decided to pick up one amulet from a master at Fu Lu Shou Complex(Rochor Street) but instead of luck, it was the beginning of her nightmares.
Here is the story:
I want to share my experience with the baby ghost amulet also known as ‘kun man tong’. I got a special version of it known as Kuman thong in the casket. Initially, I thought this will increase my luck and get more customers.
The master at Fu Lu Shou Complex told me that the amulet can help me regain my luck and even have the chance of blocking Black Magic attacks. I decided to buy 4D and I managed to win a small price that very day.
I thought that my luck will start to begin, however, my nightmare has just started.
The master instructed me to put the amulet in a good place and open the mini casket’s door and offer red sweet drinks (nam daeng) for the baby ghost every morning.
I forgot on the 4th day and thought that I could give double the offerings on the 5th day. But after a week or two, I started to get lazy and constantly forget to give offerings.
Crying sound at night
I started to hear crying sounds at night and thought that I was dreaming. But I started to dream of a boy every night and the boy called me “mae mae aow hong leng” none stop I did not know what that means until I asked my Thai Friend. Its means “mom I want play thing or toy”.
I was so scared and I went to a toy shop and bought a small toy car to offer it and continued my daily offerings.
About another month, it seems that what I’m doing now was not enough. At night I got disturbed and my hair was pulled a few times that I could no longer take it.
I went to another master and he took a look at the amulet. He said that this is the real deal and these are typically made with the remains of a baby.
He told me to bring it to a temple and leave it at the altar. I did so and finally, I could have a good night sleep.
But after the amulet was left at the temple, everything was gone as well. I got fined for throwing a cigarette butt and the guy I met suddenly had a girlfriend.
A 14-year-old XMM shared that she is “very close” with a guy friend.
The guy then “suddenly” wanted to have s*x with her, which she doesn’t want to.
So the girl shared a post online about it, anonymously.
The guy then saw the post online and suspected that she was the one who posted it, so he went to her house to check her phone and found out that it was indeed her.
He then tried to rape her, but only managed to take her top off because she was shouting for help.
