hi i would like to make a complaint about this incident that happened at blk 424 canberra road at around 6pm today(2 October).
someone from level 11 – 14 ( not clear which level did it ) threw down a huge chopping board. so this is why we made a police report about it and the police came. After that, they informed us that they found the chopping board and left. After a while, the chopping board was being taken.
I then called the police and told them that the chopping board was taken. So the police replied saying that they had found out who was the one that did it and said that there was no one injured. thus the case was closed and even said that the culprit did not do it intentionally.
The fact that who would even put a goddamn chopping board outside the kitchen window to sun it . My clothes were hanging outside to dry. That’s the reason why i heard a ‘ Ping Pang Ping Pang ‘ sound , and thought that my bamboo dropped.
Can you imagine how huge the impact would be if someone were to be right below.
“I finally got the video from the taxi(car cam) which hit me. So this is to show everyone the other viewpoint. “
“Anyway, just to warn everyone to be careful when coming out of parallel parking. For those who didn’t read the 2 September post, the verdict from the insurance is that it is 100% the fault of cars coming out of parallel parking, based on the BOLA (Barometer of Liability Agreement) rules”

Co-chair of the Multi Ministry Task Force, Lawrence Wong, spoke at a press conference yesterday (2 October).
He said that the Covid restrictions are aimed at slowing the rate of increase of transmission, instead of aiming to bring down the total number of daily infections.
Wong said that the number of daily cases could peak anywhere between 5,000 to 10,000 cases, and that it is hard to determine the peak, and that no model can predict certainly what the curve of the epidemic will look like in the coming weeks.
Wong emphasized on the importance of being ready for the different possible outcomes.
He told the people who wished to continue opening up, to be patient and that the government’s overall strategy towards reopening hasn’t changed.
However, he noted the stress on our healthcase system with the current infection wave.
Wong also addressed those who are hoping for tighter restrictions to bring down the daily number of cases, saying that “we have gone beyond that point”.
He said that the current strategy is to focus on making sure our healthcare system can cope for Covid patients who are seriously ill, urging people not to get too anxious or fearful about the daily case numbers.
Wong added that presently, 98% of the Covid patients in Signapore are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms.
He said:
“For the 98 percent of cases, there is nothing to be fearful about. In fact, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about if you catch Covid because sooner or later, many of us will end up catching the virus.”
