GUY SEES FIANCEE’S INSTA DMS BEFORE WEDDING, CALLS IT OFF AFTER

0

A guy shared a story of how he asked his fiancée to show him her instagram direct messages before their wedding and then found out that she was cheating on him all along.

He then called a hiatus to the wedding after the discovery and is now lost at where to go from here.

Here is the story

“I was supposed to get married on Friday. The night before, I asked my partner to show me her Instagram direct messages.

I’ve been cheated on many times in the past, and I have issues trusting people sometimes.

When the gut knows, it knows. She willingly obliged, and immediately I noticed there was a message thread from a guy, whom she now had blocked, as of about 2 weeks ago.

At first she would barely scroll back, and say “see? It’s just talking about cats and stuff.” But, I could tell she was intentionally trying to control the scrolling to avoid things.

I pressed the guy’s name so it showed a list of all attachments in the thread, and sure enough there was a ‘birthday suit’ pic she had sent me back in September.

I said “I thought you said you took that the same day you sent it to me?” She tried lying by saying “ok I actually took it before that, so this was from way before”.

So I asked her to scroll to that day in September, and sure enough, there was the ‘birthday suit’ pic along with comments from him saying things like “sit on my face” and her calling him babe, amongst other flirting messages.

She then lied again and said it was just a one off she didn’t know how to shake, and that she had never been physically intimate with him.

After a little more pressing and pointing out inconsistencies in her story, turns out they did sleep together “4 years ago” but who knows if that is actually true or if it was when we were together.

Around Christmas Eve, she had said something to him like “I should have sent u home with it” meaning he was at her house at least on Christmas Eve.

They continued to talk up to at least 2-3 weeks ago, when she apparently finally blocked him and decided to focus on our relationship.

I asked her if she told him about us, she said yes. She said she told him on the phone. Another lie. Her default is to lie when she panics apparently.

She never did tell him. She deleted her texts with him so I didn’t even get to see just how into the cheating they were, or find out 100% if they had any physical interactions during the time we had been together.

The ‘birthday suit’ photos and obvious flirting seemed to mostly die down after October, but there were still a ton of “one-time view” videos on Instagram going back and forth almost daily until a few weeks ago.

She claims it was all “cat stuff” but I’ll never really know. She claims she stopped flirting with him after October.

Without the texts to see though, again, I’ll never know the full truth. She also at first didn’t seem to think there was anything wrong with continuing a friendship with him after the flirting stopped, perpetuating a damaging “friendship” because she didn’t want to hurt his feelings, and continuing to lead him on by sending him videos and talking to him almost daily, never telling him she was in a monogamous relationship.

The worst part of all of this? She knows my past. We were best friends in our late teens/early 20’s. We lost contact for a while but reconnected early 2021.

She’s been my best friend again since we reconnected. We hang out almost every day. We talk almost constantly in our time away from each other physically.

She knows I’ve been cheated on in almost every relationship I’ve ever been in. She knows I went to therapy and had tons of healing, and that I had been single for 3+ years by choice prior to getting with her, because I knew I had too much healing to do from past relationships.

She promised to never do that to me, that she would never hurt me and there would be no one else. We discussed boundaries multiple times and what we’d be uncomfortable/not ok with. Even still, she was cheating.

She said she was planning on telling me, but this was the night before our wedding I found out on my own.

I have a very hard time believing she would have told me. But who knows. I’m plagued by “what if’s.”

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read. Currently dying inside.”

GUY TOOK WRONG ORDER & RAN OFF WHEN OWNER ASKED FOR IT

0

A guy shared a story of how he had ordered takeaway one day and when he was walking away with the order, another person was flagging him down.

Thinking that the guy was going to ask him for some loose change, he flashed him a ‘peace’ hand gesture before going off.

It was until when the guy reached home and took his meal that he realised that the order was not what he had ordered and the reality then suddenly hit him that the guy flagging him down was actually trying to claim back his order.

Here is the story

“So I broke down and ordered wingstop cuz I’ve been craving wings all weekend… I go to pick them up tell them my name, get my bag and I get into my car.

This kinda sketch looking dude runs up to the car and I’m like okay I do not want to deal with someone asking for change rn (no cash on me anyway and I’ve had people stop n ask for cash here before).

So I flash the peace sign and drive off. Now I get on the expressway and I’m like huh smells like fries.. I didn’t order fries. Thats weird.

Get home and open up the bag and its like okay fries for free thats cool, but then I open the wings and its like crappy flavors which was not what I ordered so I was a bit disappointed.

I ate it anyway cuz they’re not awful and gave the rest to my housemate. Then it hits me.

Dude wasn’t asking for change, I had HIS order and he was trying to flag me down and instead I took one look at him was like I don’t want to deal with this today and just took off with his order.

My bad wingstop buddy, my bad.”

MAN REMARRIED & FORCED TO CHOOSE BETWEEN HIS DAUGHTERS & HIS WIFE

0

A netizen shared how he remarried after divorcing his ex-wife and his daughters have been lying to their mother about their new stepmother starving them, stealing their clothes and etcetera.

Here is the story:

I feel like I’m having to choose between my daughters and my wife (their stepmom)

I just recently remarried and it’s causing some issues with my daughters (15 and 12). They’ve been convincing their mom that my wife is an awful person and making up stories for months now.

Every time I take them back to their mom’s, they come up with something new. Some of the stories they’ve come up with include saying that my wife lets them starve, steals their clothes, yells at them and hits them, destroys and or hides their stuff, the list goes on and on.

None of this has ever happened. In fact they are absolutely rude and awful to my wife to the point where they have made her cry many times. When they’re at my house, I can tell my wife avoids them because of the things they say to her.

Yet their mom believes every word they say and she just now told me she wants sole custody. I don’t know if I want to fight this and be able to have my daughters and be there for them or just let it happen so they can stop making stories about my wife and causing us so much stress. I feel like I can either be a good dad or a good husband but not both.

Any advice?

Netizens’ comments

  • Ask them, straight up, ask them,
The question needs to be asked, do they want to stay and change and give the family a chance and go to family therapy or do they want to live with their mum full time. Make sure you tell them why this is going on and ask them what they want to happen
  • Yep, they’re kids. The family dynamics have changed, they want to know where they stand and how much power they have. So far, the fact that your ex believes the unbelievable things they say gives them a lot of power over her (and probably a lot of sympathy). And they probably think you/your new wife deserve whatever they do because you divorced their mother. Also, teaming up against the grownups is probably bringing them together in a you-against-them kind of way.
Kids aren’t all the way through Spiderman, they play with power but don’t understand responsibility. They probably don’t even think they can hurt a grownup in a way that matters, it’s all low-stakes to them. Split them up for a conversation to mess with the dynamic, in a way where they aren’t even in contact on cell phones for the duration of the conversation. Talk to them about actions and consequences and what will happen if they continue. And tell them that what happens next is up to them.

GIRL WATCHES DIFFERENT VIDEOS BEFORE BED, DREAMS OF WEIRD THINGS

0

A girl shared a story of how she was watching videos of different genre last night one after another and it resulted in her getting weird dreams about the videos.

She watched a compilation of Formula One videos as well as Resident Evil and it somehow got into her head when she was sleeping resulting in weird dreams occuring.

Her dreams were like a weird type of racer X zombies crossover.

Here is the story

“I am a 19 year old female student and ss such I have a terrible sleep schedule and a keen interest in video games. It also happens that I’m a huge fan of Formula 1 racing.

Last night, I found myself with some free time, so I opened YouTube. I was recommended a speedrun of Resident Evil 7. Can’t turn that down, so I watched it. All two hours. It’s getting late by the time I finished it, but next up is a speedrun of the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I’m a straight girl and thus can’t resist Leon S Kennedy so I watch that, too.

Now, if you don’t know, these are horror games. I’ve just spent 4-odd hours watching zombies and mold-creatures jumpscare me, along with an impressive amount of disgusting horror. But I don’t think anything of it.

Now it’s really late— 1am ish— so I better watch something shorter. I put on a compilation of F1 driver’s best press conference moments. Some of my favorite drivers feature and are very funny. I go to bed happy.

I do not wake up happy. I had horrible dreams about my favorite drivers morphing into mold zombies and eating my fingers. It may have just been a dream, but the memory is so vivid it’s put me off watching races for a bit.”

GUY FARTED IN THE PROCESS OF HIS WIFE PLAYING TRUMPET

0

A guy shared a story of how he screwed up one time with his wife while they were in the room having some intimacy after a long weekend with the family.

They had just gotten married a while ago and was staying in his parents in law place as they were exhausted after going around the whole weekend with entertaining their families.

They decided to use their private time to the fullest and went straight ahead for some intimate ‘action’ but something happened nearing the end which was hilarious for the wife and embarrassing for the man.

Here is the story

“My wife and I had just gotten married recently and due to the pandemic we did not invite a lot of our relatives and opted for a private wedding session with just a few family and close friends.

We had decided that out of courtesy and respect to our relatives, we would go and visit them over the next few weekends to celebrate our marriage in them in a smaller group according to the pandemic measures.

So now to the story me and my wife were doing what newlyweds do and having some needed alone time after a long family weekend.

It started out fine we were having some random mid-night ‘action’ but things were coming to an end, and it was time for the “Big Bang”.

So not to let it make a mess on her parents guest room, she starts blowing the trumpet to get me to finish what we had started, and reach the pinnacle.

In between the spurts my body relaxed enough to let out the longest, loudest release of gas.

Now its two o’clock in the morning and we are at her parents house, and she won’t stop laughing and her mom has woke up!!!!

The only words she could mutter between hyperventilating were “I’m never going to let you live this down””

GIRL’S BROTHER HAS BEEN DEAD FOR 5 YEARS, SHE STILL TEXTS HIM ABOUT HER DAY

0

A netizen shared how her brother passed away in 2017, but she still texts him at his old phone number whenever she comes across something that reminds her of him.

Here is the story

My brother has been dead since 2017. I still text him pretty much all the time.

Every so often I think of something or see something that I think he’d enjoy or find funny and I send it to him on Snapchat or via text. Not sure if someone has his phone number now.

If they do I’m probably blocked and I appreciate that they haven’t sent any nasty replies. I don’t text often maybe twice a year and it’s usually like ‘Hey Brother, you’d love this new song by this new singer’.

Sometimes I forget for just a moment that he’s gone and start the message before it hits me. I like to send him pics of his nieces and nephew on Snapchat. I’m ok just sad right now.

Netizens’ comments

  • I still message my husband, I don’t think I’ll ever stop. Just to tell him I miss him and his the cats are. I’ll send him funny memes I find. Like, I have his phone so I know he’ll never read it but it feels therapeutic to just tell him stuff. I’m sorry for your loss, I think it’s nice to send updates about stuff.

It’s alright I do the same with my grandparents’ number to send a caring message but it’s kinda sad knowing their numbers aren’t active anymore

  • My grandma keeps writing mails to my grandpa, who died in 2019. I think it’s likely the same, don’t feel bad about it, it’s ok.

Editor’s note: Even though our loved ones are gone, they’re not really gone are they?

GIRL SAYS SHE LIKES BEING UGLY, DESPITE NEVER HAVING A BOYFRIEND BEFORE

0

A girl shared how she “kinda” likes being ugly and that despite having never been in a relationship before or had her first kiss, she is okay with it.

Here is the story:

I kinda like being ugly.

I’m (25f) nothing special to look at. Never been in a relationship, held hands with a guy, or had my first kiss. I’ve always been in the background, a little bit shy and never been asked out.

For a long time I always wondered what it would be like to be in a relationship with someone who genuinely likes me, just like my friends. But I think the older I get, the more I realize it’s not going to happen and I’m okay with it. Honest.

It gets lonely a lot but I’ve learned to do things for myself and it’s nice. Really. And for what I lack physically, I make up for academically. I’m not a genius like Einstein but I sure know my numbers.

Netizens’ comments

  • Love the self-acceptance, I believe you’re not as ugly as you think you are. For me, beauty really radiates inside out, and you sound lovely to me. And “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” is really true too. I feel ugly too but bringing up my ugliness to people who genuinely love me only hurts them, so I learned to have peace with my not-conventionally attractive face, and live really gets easier and more fun. Yay to the self-acceptance energy!
  • Just for this way you feel, I already like you. Don’t stress it. As we get older we come to realize how little looks matter.. I’m 30M and have had really great relationships with attractive people, now I’m alone for like 5 years after moving. I’m working on myself and it’s not easy.. But my standards have gone from wanting an extremely attractive woman to needing a loving, caring, sensitive, smart, deep, loyal woman that makes me happy. I’m sure we’ll both find the right person eventually! Don’t give up and just be your best self until then.

HUSBAND EXPECTS WIFE TO REMB ANNIVERSARY CAUSE HE DON’T GIVE A…

0

My husband and I are both in our 40s have a very good and loving relationship. For the most part he’s a very helpful and engaged spouse and father. He cannot/will not remember the dates of important milestones.

I plan and organize the kids birthdays months in advance and he participates. I spent the first few years of our marriage sulking about him forgetting my birthday and since then I plan it out myself and let him know what I want as a gift. I remember my in laws and close friends birthdays and greet them on my behalf, leaving him to manage his relationships with them on his own. And I do love him a lot so I plan and celebrate his birthday (I know he’d forget it if I didn’t do so.)

I gave up caring about valentines days long ago. But, to his credit, he is good about remembering and celebrating mother’s day for me. He always forgets our wedding anniversary and after 8 years of planning and having him simply “participate” I left it on him to do something on this one event. He forgot it every year since then. We’ve been married for thirteen years now and we haven’t celebrated our anniversary for the past five years. I’ve made my peace with that.

We had a family gathering this weekend and in a group conversation, someone asked my husband how long we’ve been married. He did this oh I don’t know, wife keeps tracks of these things. And he and his siblings are all like haha typical husband. They ask me how long we’ve been married and I did the same tone of oh I don’t know, who can remember haha. Everybody became a bit awkward and husband looked upset at me. Later, he asked me why I’d say that and I said that we don’t celebrate our anniversary so it’s not at the forefront of my mind. The realization that we haven’t celebrated our anniversary in years came as a surprise to him.

He pointed out that I remember how old our home is, how old our cars are, even how long he’s had his laptop. He doesn’t remember those things, so for me to not remember how long we’ve been married is showing everyone that my marriage is of much lower value to me. I said that instead of making his forgetfulness a point of contention, I chose to be like him and not track the age of our relationship and he should be accepting of that.

I may be the “bad person” since I do remember how long we’ve been married, but I am pretending not to, because if he can’t bother to remember and celebrate then I shouldn’t be expected to either.

Here are what netizens think:

  • This man may not remember much, but he does have the ability to buy himself a calendar and use it. Its not your job to care for the both of you.
  • Yup. I have all important dates in my phone’s calendar. Even birthdays and anniversaries even if I know when it is. It’s just a reminder for the day of it as I can get days mixed up sometimes.
  • I’ve saved my family’s birthdays, events, holidays and appointments on my phone ever since I had one because I know how i am. I tend to be extremely forgetful when it comes to numbers and dates, so putting them down on my phone saves the embarrassment of not remembering and I even have dates on my phone for roughly a week before to make sure I buy presents/make something before the date. It’s not that hard.

GUY’S GF CHEATED ON HIM WITH MARRIED MAN, WANTS TO SABO THE GUY

0

A netizen shared how he found out that his girlfriend has been cheating on him with a married man and is considering telling his wife about it.

Here is the story:

I (29M) found out my girlfriend (30F) has been cheating on me with someone who has a wife and daughter. Should I tell the wife?

I had been seeing my partner for about 6 months, though we have known each other for most of our lives.

Recently, a mutual party reached out to me, out of the blue, with evidence of messages, pictures, and voice notes that her and her co-worker (who has a wife and daughter) have been sending back and forth to each other for the majority of our relationship, possibly longer.

I confronted her about it immediately. She denied everything and we promptly split up.

What I am unsure of, however, is if I should reach out to the wife and tell her the truth.

My conscience tells me I absolutely should; that she deserves to know the truth just as I deserved to know. However, I am hesitant to potentially ruin the lives of three people by sharing it and disrupting the marriage.

I mean, we live in such a tiny country and there are really only one or two degrees of separation between anyone here. I’m concerned for mutual friends that may be inconvenienced by this.

I’m torn and looking for advice. My heart hurts, but I am so so glad I found out sooner rather than later, and I know I will recover. But I can’t shake the feeling that I would not find the means to forgive myself if I kept this a secret. I don’t know… maybe I should.

What do you think?

GF WANTS BF TO QUIT HIS JOB FROM CLOTHING STORE CAUSE ALOT OF WOMAN

0

I’m a 26-year-old guy and I’ve worked at a clothing store for the past 7 years. The store mostly sells women’s clothing and it is known as a women’s store.

My GF has never been to the store until yesterday and when she saw how it was almost all women who shopped there she said I needed to find a different job because she isn’t comfortable with me working where there could be a chance that one of the customers flirts with me or something.

I like my job and don’t want to quit especially considering I make a good amount and my boss is nice to me now and nowhere else offers that amount of money with my level of education.

What should I do?

Here are what netizens think:

  • She’s being ridiculous. Does she want you to wear a bag over your head as well, so no women look at you?
  • Hear me out, if you leave your job, she will continue to pull that kind of shit on you because of her own insecurities. Decide your own power, if you enjoy that job you just stay and that’s the end of it. If she doesn’t like that, she can fuck off. There’s no reason for her to think you’re cheating, and there’s no reason to make this an argument.
  • At any job, or while running errands etc, he’s going to see other women. Pretty ridiculous indeed.
  • People who are insecure and controlling cannot be appeased. Reduce her anxiety by quitting. Next it will be your time spent with friends under scrutiny. Then any time apart. Before you know it you will be not allowed to enjoy yourself without her in case you realise you have more fun when she is absent. Get out before it gets too complicated.
  • No way! She has no right to try and interfere With your money if you haven’t done anything. With her logic both of you should just stay home so no one ever looks at or flirts with either of you. What a ridiculous ask.
