WOMAN HAD PANIC ATTACK AFTER NOT DATING FOR A VERY LONG TIME

0

A lady shared a story of how she suffered a panic attack while out on a date after not going for one for the longest time.

This was because she was a single mother and was working a pandemic job and therefore spent most of her time and work or taking care of her child.

She added that she did not feel like this before and her date for that day had wasted $200 on dinner and movie for nothing much.

Here is the story

“This actually happened previously while I was trying to go on a date.

As the parent of an infant during a pandemic, you can imagine I don’t get much time away.

Between working in a relatively demanding role and being the primary caregiver to our son, I needed a date night.

Baby went to stay with his grandparents for the first time overnight and we purchased tickets to a movie and went to have dinner.

After dinner, we went to catch a movie in town.

Approximately 30 seconds after the lights dimmed in the cinema venue and the music started playing, I felt DOOM. My vision got blurry and I legitimately thought I was going to collapse out of my chair.

I motioned to my boyfriend to come with me quickly and we walked out of the theater.

I stumbled beside him because everything was blurry and I could barely breathe.

Once I was able to sit outside of the cinema for a few minutes, I realised I was experiencing a full blown panic attack.

We thought of going back in to try and enjoy the show, but as soon as the music started again, my panic ramped up.

We had to leave the venue after less than 5 minutes after spending over $200 for a night out.”

CAR STICKS LTA APPROVAL CODE ON BACK OF VEHICLE

0

A photo emerged online of a White Mitsubishi Lancer bearing the number plate 5583R which was not fully capture in the picture on the road.

A closer look near the exhaust area on the back of the car shows that the owner/driver of the car has pasted a sticker showing the LTA approval code and also a sign to leave the owner/driver alone.

It reads:

“LTA APPROVAL CODE
VIR20150757915
PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE”

May be an image of car and road

The type of willingness of the owner/driver to paste the sticker like this presumably shows that he or she must have always been stopped by the authorities on the road for checks until he or she feels frustrated and enough is enough.

At the time of posting, the photo has garnered almost 839 shares and 113 likes and reacts.

Modifications that require approval from LTA

Here are the modifications which requires LTA approval:

  • Engines
  • Exhaust system
  • Hoods or Canopies
  • Seating arrangements
  • Sunroofs
  • Superchargers or Turbochargers
  • Transmissions or Gearboxes

In the case of the car seen in the picture, here are the guidelines for modifications of the exhaust system:

“The exhaust system consists of the exhaust manifold, catalytic converter and muffler, which are part of a vehicle’s exhaust emission control system that makes sure the vehicle’s exhaust emission does not harm the environment.

Any modification to the exhaust system requires approval from LTA.

The following documents should be submitted to LTA for evaluation before any modifications can be done:

  • Certification provided by the product manufacturer which shows that the modifications which the owner wants to make is suitable for the vehicle.
  • LTA/NEA’s test reports or certificates from recognised test laboratories proving the aftermarket exhaust system complies with the exhaust emission standards when installed in the vehicles.

Catalytic converters and mufflers should also not be removed as they will affect the exhaust emission characteristics of the vehicle adversely.”

It is a punishable offence to leave the scene of an accident, which is considered a hit-and-run – upon conviction, first-time offenders face a fine of up to $3,000 or a jail term of up to 12 months.

GUY DATES GIRL EVEN THOUGH HE LIKES ANOTHER ONE

0

A guy shared a story of how he was talking to this girl which he knew from a dating app for a period of time and was really interested in her but lazy to make any moves because she stays far way from him.

For story’s sake, he stays in the East of Singapore while the girl stays in the West and he does not have a driving license and therefore he thinks that it is very far.

It is because of this situation that he went to befriend another girl from the app and the second girl is now into him but he wishes he was with the first girl instead.

Here is the story

“Not sure what to do. Maybe you have some advice for me? Not today but very recent.

I’ve been talking to this girl (A) for months now. I’ve been afraid to commit for a few reasons, but mostly because we live far away from each other.

I stay in the east of Singapore and she stays in the west, coupled with the fact which I don’t have a driving license so it is very troublesome to always meet her.

I like her a lot and we literally talk everyday. I really think she could be the love of my life.

Well I got in my head too much thinking it can’t work living so far away. I decided I needed something more physical. I got back on an app, met this girl (B) and took her out.

Completely ghosted A without explanation. I was having a good time with B, but it wasn’t until B called me Mr Right that I felt the gravity of the situation.

I want to be A’s Mr Right, not this random girl I just met.

I went home after the date and couldn’t bring myself to call A. I felt guilty and thought that because didn’t commit I wouldn’t feel guilty.

I called A later and I told her about it. It was weighing on my conscience. Now she wants nothing to do with me and idk if I can save this.”

MAID ALLEGEDLY KILLED IN TELOK BLANGAH HDB FIRE, LIVED ONE FLOOR UP

0

The fire that broke out at Block 39 Telok Blangah Rise on 29 January, has purportedly claimed the life of a 48-year-old maid, Koimatun Achmad Ali, according to Mothership.

The maid, also known as Emma to those who knew her, came to Singapore from Indonesia.

The news was confirmed by a former resident and friend of the deceased, Kevin Ho, who spoke to Mothership.

Emma lived on the 11th floor, right above the affected unit on the 10th floor and according to Kevin, she was the only person in the unit when the fire took place.

The other residents of the unit Emma was in were not home at the time and were overseas.

Performed CPR

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) previously posted an update on their Facebook about the fire that ravaged the unit, and they said at the time that an unidentified 48-year-old woman was rescued out of the unit after being found unconscious.

She was brought to the lift lobby where paramedics performed CPR on her before conveying her to Singapore General Hospital (SGH)

She eventually succumbed to her injuries and passed away after 9pm that same day.

Leaves behind family whom she hasn’t seen in years

Emma was the sole breadwinner of her family and she leaves behind a 17-year-old daughter and her elderly parents in Semarang, Java, all of whom she hasn’t seen since the pandemic began.

Ho has since set up an online fundraiser to raise money in order to ease the financial burden of her funeral and the costs of sending her body back to Indonesia.

A 73-year-old man was also reported to have been arrested for mischief by fire and police investigations are underway.

NEW RESIDENT JUST MOVED IN, THROW CARDBOARD BOXES ALL OVER RUBBISH DUMP

A netizen shared a video and some photos of a huge mess of cardboard boxes left behind purportedly by a new resident moving into the building.

Here is the story:

Dear Singaporeans and residents of Northshore, we know you all just move house but do u all really have to make such a big mess and never flatten the cardboard boxes?

Poor cleaners have to flatten every single one of it, when I came here for a visit, from morning and till now, I see the rubbish yet to be cleared properly.

Every few hours there will be people just dumping the whole cartons of boxes without flattening them. Yes, they get paid but can we all help one another?

This is also to deter accidents around the area where cars are dropping off passengers so that the empty boxes won’t fly off due to the wind around this area, and it is also making a mess in that area since it’s opposite the sea.

Let’s help one another, they have to do the garden and etcetera, and now they need to spend extra time clearing and flattening the boxes.

Reminder please, to all Waterfront and Punggol Northshore residents

GIRL DRUNK TEXTS A GUY SHE LIKES, HE BLUE TICKS

0

A girl shared a story of how she got drunk one day and could not remember how she got home but drunk texted a guy which she was interested in.

She regretted what she did when she woke up as she was afraid that she had turned the guy off even though she did not mention much in the drunk text.

As a result of what she has done, she now regrets it and wishes she did none of it while she was drunk.

Here is the story

“So, it happened the night where I got crazy drunk, I don’t remember how I got home. None from my friend group remembers when I left. We were all wasted.

So none can tell me how I left. I woke up in my room not knowing how i got there. I even broke some stuff in my room and made a huge mess.

I don’t remember doing any of that. So all of that scared me. I had no idea how I got home, so I went through my phone to see who I texted and called to get any clues on that.

To my horror, I see that I drunk texted the person i like. It was just random words and nothing too crazy, I didn’t tell them I like them or anything like that in the texts, but then I called them and we talked for less than a minute.

I don’t remember anything from the conversation!!! I don’t know what we talked about and I’m scared that I might have said something stupid.

I texted them today and made a joke about the whole situation, but they left me on seen. I don’t want to bother them anymore. I’m afraid they are annoyed with me.

I’m panicking now! How do I find out what we talked about? I’m scared I told them I like them, or that I maybe said something stupid and got them offended??

Idk I’m really paranoid, because I don’t want to screw things up between us.”

MAIDS GONE WILD – 1V1 EPIC FIGHT USING BAG AS WEAPON @ LUCKY PLAZA

A video emerged online showing an epic fight that broke out yesterday between two maids at Lucky Plaza.

The two maids were seen exchanging blows with each other, using their handbags as weapons, and exchanging what I assume to be Tagalog (un)pleasantries.

The maid in orange then threw away her bag and decided to go for it with her hands.

A passerby stepped in and intervened, and the maid in orange then exclaimed: “SHE PUSHED ME, SHE PUSHED ME, SHE PUSHED ME!”

BOY SAW PARENTS “DOING IT”, MOM EXPLAINS DAD IS PUTTING MEDICINE INSIDE HER

0

A netizen shared a sotry about how he caught his parents getting intimate when he was a child, and his parents then came up with the most ridiculous story to explain what they were doing.

Here is the story:

I caught my parents getting intimate when I was a child. I don’t remember how old I was when it happened.

I remember that I woke up for no reason at all around 2:00 am. I tried to sleep again but I couldn’t. I used to sleep with my bedroom door open because I was scared of monsters or something paranormal at the time.

I noticed that the living room lights were on so I assumed that my mom was awake. I walked out of my room and started to slowly walk to the living room.

I started to hear sounds but I was too young to understand. I went to the living room, and they there were. They stopped doing it.

I asked my mom what is happening. She made up the worst lie ever. She said that my dad was putting medicine inside her stomach because she was sick LMAOOOOOO!!

We haven’t talked about it ever since.

Netizens comments

  • Hahaha. I’d tell the kids we are wrestling.
  • I told my son that noise was us watching a scary movie lol. hope he doesn’t remember that he’s 19 🤔
