MAN RANT ABOUT GETTING STUCK IN QUARANTINE HOTEL BUT DONT KNOW WHY

Source: Daniar Gatsby

A man posted on his Facebook about what he had been through in the quarantine he claims that till today he is still in quarantine.

Here is his story:

This is gonna be a slightly long post but really no choice, I think I have to rant online to maybe have some effect. Please help me share this post everyone, you might not know which of your family or friends might get served Quarantine Orders without knowing why exactly!

Some of you might know, I’m actually serving my Quarantine Order in a hotel right now. I believe I am actually stuck here longer than I should. So here is what happened.

On 14th July, I got an SMS from MOH that I was exposed to a positive covid case on 5th July and to monitor my health and etc for the next 14 days.I was with a friend and he got the same SMS.

Timeline

16th July around 9 pm, both of us got the SMS and phone call that we are being served the QO till 19th. This means 5th July + 14 days = 19th July which is correct.

So the first thing that happened is, instead of being pulled to the quarantine facility immediately, I only got picked up by CISCO on 17th night.

17th July evening – got another SMS stating that this time, my QO is from 16th – 25th July instead! My friend did not get this SMS. Called CISCO side to check, they say system not updated my date shown is still 19th. Hotel side also told me the booking for me is till 19th July.

17th July @ 11pm, CISCO finally comes and fetch me, more than 24 hours after I received my QO!

18th July afternoon, I called CISCO again, they said system now showing 25th July, but they couldn’t give me a reason why is it that my QO is extended till 25th! They said they will call MOH to check and get back to me, which until now, nobody has gotten back to me yet!

19th July – my friend proceeds to check out and I’m still stuck in the hotel with no answer why my QO is till 25th.

20th July – Pissed with CISCO, I decided to call the MOH Covid Emergency Hotline, chose the option for “Persons currently serving Quarantine Order”, guess what? After speaking to the guy for more than 10 minutes, he told me he cannot do anything as it is just an enquiry hotline!!! Hello this is MOH leh!! If even the ENQUIRY HOTLINE cannot answer my ENQUIRY, then who can?!?!?!

He told me to call CISCO instead who is the Quarantine Agent! I call CISCO, CISCO say check with MOH! I ask MOH, MOH say check with CISCO!! You all playing taichi with me??? NCID, which falls under MOH is the authority issuing the QO, why are your guys asking me to find CISCO instead???

Super pissed off!! Proceeded to email the Minister of Health and loads of other people, and they directed my email to MOH’s Quality Service Manager. The person asked for my details and till now, after nearly 48 hours, still no updates from them!

22nd July – Called MOH’s hotline again and all I do is getting a voicemail asking me to leave my number and they will call me back. Once again, the waiting game…

How is it that two persons, exposed to the same risk at the same place at the same time, be served two different quarantine orders???? I’m serving QO, not a jail sentence! When imprisoned, even the prison wardens can answer my queries very quickly if I ask about my release date, but MOH just takes their own sweet time and plans to keep me here all the way till 25th?

Are there any more people out there like me who are serving the QO without daring to question why? Until now, nobody can answer me why am I serving QO till 25th when my TraceTogether doesn’t show any possible exposure on 11th July!!

HELLO Ministry of Health, Singapore Ong Ye Kung, you’re not the one getting stuck in a hotel room with crap food, 3 small bottles of water daily and bad wifi, while knowing your F&B business is facing P2HA again without you around physically around to help out!

XMM APOLOGIZES FOR INSENSITIVE RIVER VALLEY HIGH INSTA STORY

A xiao mei mei who previously posted on Instagram saying that she wanted to experience the River Valley murder has posted a new Insta story apologizing for her insensitive actions.

People will do all sorts of nonsense just to gain more followers on Instagram and her actions were undeniably outrageous.

Here previous post

Her apology post:

I want to apologize for the insensitive story I posted on my spam. I’ve gone through a death of a family member recently and I didn’t mean to hurt anyone. I had not harboured any intent about making jokes about his passing and I know what’s done is done but I only posted this on my private acc with the intention of venting my feelings of stress and sadness but I didn’t expect it to get out.

I had no intentions of taking the situation lightly nor did I wish for harm to happen to any more people after this tragic incident. this is my coping mechanism I know this is no excuse and once again I’m sorry and I would like to offer my apologies to the family of the student and those that I have offended due to my insensitivity and I hope that nothing is like this would happen again.

I have reflected on my actions and I sincerely apologize for what I have said and I will think before I speak from now on.

HAUNTED JURONG WEST FLAT, MAN SAW WHITE FIGURE. REGRETS BUYING CHEAP FLAT

Man buys a cheap flat in Jurong West turns out to be some haunted.

Here is the story:

Open your eyes, ears and everything before buying a house. Just do not buy a flat because it is sold at a discount. Buying a house in Singapore is a very big deal as it is expensive and the loan repayment will go until our age 40s. My friend learnt it the hard way so just sharing her story for those buying HDB flats.

This is my friend story thus just sharing only for us to be careful when buying a house. Below is my friend’s point of view’s story to prevent any misunderstanding.

I still remember when my office phone rang, my husband was on the line saying that he spotted a good HDB 4 Room house deal at Jurong west street 81 blk 840. I am not going to reveal the floor number to prevent scaring the people living the floor in that particular street.

So, we arranged a viewing with the agent and bought it on the spot! A little bit of history I am going to mention so that if you come across a similar case do consider it carefully. When we viewed the flat, we found that it was renovated extensively, and we were told that the owner only stayed for a short while and moved out.
As the owner had bought the flats from HDB direct, they cannot sell the flat yet (5 years rule), so they moved out to a rented flat and later rented a shop unit.

Since the 19th Century

I came to know from research online and other families nearby that Jurong West was previously a cemetery like lim chu kang cemetery (which explained the close distance) and it had been reclaimed for the housing projects. Aka which meant I lived above a cemetery/dead people. More I research, more I find out that many blocks in Jurong west are haunted through the plentiful ghost stories about that place. which scared me as I had just gotten married recently and paid 400k+ for the house.

So please do your research before you purchase a flat which I learn the hard way.

Ok! now I will list all the incidences that happened during my two and half years there.

The encounters

1) As I was watching TV in the hall, I used to see several times a black shadow darting at the corner of the room. One night after watching TV alone, I think it was about 2.00 am and I was walking to sleep, I heard a voice (very clear) calling me “MaMa!” once and instinctively.
I turn my head to my left where the voice came from. My whole body went cold when there was nothing there at all! My wife and only daughter were sleeping soundly.

2)It was in the afternoon; my wife was washing her hair in the toilet.
As she was sitting on the stool bending forward holding the shower above her head washing her hair. Suddenly, she felt that someone gave her a hard push above her head. She was unable to see that time coz her eyes were covered with shampoo. Then immediately, she opens her eyes and call out to my daughter. She found that my daughter was indeed playing in the hall all the time.

3) It was when a new neighbour moved in next door and when they came over to get to know us. My wife was at the gate chatting with them. And my daughter and I was watching TV in the hall. The next evening after dinner in the hawker centre, we met them in the lift. Then, during our conversation, they mentioned, “Where is your boy?” We told them that we only got a daughter, but they insisted that they saw themself, my daughter in the hall watching TV and there was a boy at the staircase playing and he was about 5 years old! Both husband & wife saw that!

4)There was one evening at about 10.00 pm. I was having my bath then when I turn to face the wall behind me, I got shocked!! There was a transparent figure like a human (do not know gal or guy) moved from one wall to another!
I was shaking like a leave and naturally used the hot shower spray and spray to that direction. Nothing happened at all, so I quickly rushed out.

5) This last one is the final straw we able to take before we moved out to our private apartment which happened the tenancy just expires. (Pls note we can only sell after 5 years for resale flat).
I forgot to mention that all this time during the night when we are sleeping in our locked master bedroom, we always heard noises like someone twisting our room handle and trying to open the door. I did check many times to no avail.
