WORKER ON MC BUT STILL WENT TO WORK @ HOTEL, JAILED

Chan Foo Mun, 43-years-old, was jailed for 8 weeks earlier today (10 August) after pleading guilty to 2 counts under the Infectious Diseases Act.

5 more similar charges were taken into consideration during sentencing.

Chan was given MC by a doctor but he hid that fact from his colleagues and supervisors and returned to work.

Chan worked at J8 Hotel at 8 Townshend Road, when the hotel had a customer who tested positive for Covid-19.

He then went to Care Family Clinic along Buffalo Road, on 19 April 2020, for cough and blocked nose that lasted 2 to 3 days.

The circuit breaker was in effect at the time.

Chan was then given a 5-day MC from 19 to 23 April.

He was told by the doctor that this was a SHN and he should stay home, not even allowed to leave his home to buy food (to leave that task to someone to help him).

Chan then left the clinic without paying or collecting his MC and medication, he then went to work at his hotel.

He didn’t want his pay to be deducted.

He hid the fact that he saw a doctor and was on MC, interacting with his colleagues as well as the hotels guests (he worked as a receptionist).

Chan left his home on 20 April to buy food and interacted with colleagues.

Enforcement officers from MOH went to visit him at his home to question him about his visit to the clinic on 19 April, telling him that he needed to stay home as per the MC, under the law.

He left his home again on 23 April to buy food.

MAN KU KU JIAO STUCK IN PADLOCK, HIM AND MUM UNABLE TO GET IT OUT

A Thai man was recently rushed to the hospital for putting his private part into a padlock and having it stuck for two weeks.

He was apparently bored from the Covid-19 lock down and got the idea to insert his bird into the padlock.

However, he lost the key to the padlock and therefore couldn’t get it out, even with the help of his mother.

They gave up and called for emergency services where doctors then spent 30 minutes trying to remove his bird from the lock, with the aid of a sheet of metal and water as a lubricant to protect the man.

The doctors eventually managed to remove it but said that his bird will never be the same anymore.

His mother told the local media that the man does not have a girlfriend and the man told her that he was bored and likes putting his bird into small holes.

His eyes like never see women before keep lookup down left right centre and keep whistling at them, I think the saliva want touch the floor already.

The guy looks like the late 40s. Finally, one of the girls noticed the uncle and asked if the uncle if he was interested in having a good massage. The uncle said “why u want to catch my Pikachu?” and laugh like an evil monster to himself.

The look in his eyes was so sickening that I decided to quickly leave the place so that my children won’t learn this kind of behaviour.

MAN’S PHONE STOLEN, THIEF TRIED UNLOCK BUT FAILED TO DO SO

A netizen lost his phone and it unleashed more stories of lost phones on Facebook.

Here is the first story:

Hi need advice, lost my iPhone yesterday morning and yesterday night at 9.41 pm received an email from someone trying to open it. Any chance to get back the iPhone as my Documents in the phone is very important.

Should I make a police report or TraceTogether can help as my Bluetooth is always on to get back my device?

2nd Story:

Like what the mass were saying, don’t think the police will care…I dropped my hp in the cinema. A guy took it and posted on Carousell to sell with his profile pic clearly recognizable as the guy who sat beside me in the cinema. Told the police, they didn’t even care. I.e, they ask me go confront him myself. Zzz

A netizen asked:  then did you act as a buyer, fake to purchase and catch him red handed?

He replied: I did. Haha but he suddenly half way didn’t reply and removed the listing. Think I exposed my cover.
