KIASU WOMAN PRAYING WITH JOSS STICK THAT IS TALLER THAN HER

An interesting photo emerged online showing a woman praying at what appears to be a temple.

She was seen using a giant joss stick, that seems to be taller (or longer) than herself.

Maybe size does matter after all, even to the deities.

He allegedly using his umbrella to whack a stray cat that was sleeping on a bench and minding its own business.

You can read the netizen’s full post below:

“An uncle in jurong west near jwss was hitting the cats around the neighbourhood with his umbrella.

there was an orange cat sleeping on a bench and he hit it with his umbrella, then hit the bench to scare it away.

I went to pet the cat to idk calm it down. there was another cat near me also that was sleeping. he walked towards the other cat and pointed to it with his umbrella so i thought he was telling me there was another cat since i was alr petting one.

I thought he would walk away considering theres someone nearby possibly watching him so he wouldnt hit the cat but he did anyways.

He hit the cat and then the pillar it was beside, then practically followed it around hitting the wall and floor until it ran up some stairs.

Im vv mad abt this bc the cats were sleeping and not doing anything that was disturbing him or anyone honestly. srsly hope that there are v less ppl like this in sg. its not like a stray cat scratches you for no reason when you’re walking past right..”

COVID-19 RULES COULD BE EASED FOR THOSE WHO ARE VACCINATED

Singapore is targeting having two-thirds of the population fully vaccinated by around National Day on 9 August.

And as more people get vaccinated, larger gatherings and travel without SHN upon their return to Singapore would be allowed.

The new normal will see Covid-19 becoming an endemic when we live with it, and those who are infected will stay at home to recover because the vaccine makes sure that the symptoms are mild.

The governmentment is hoping for 2/3 of the population to be vaccinated, which could see the following changes:

Travel resumed

  • Fully vaccinated people will be given concession when going overseas and returning to Singapore.
  • Countries which have controlled the virus and turned it into an endemic to work on mutually recognising vaccine certifications.
  • SHN could be shortened or replaced with frequent testing.

Larger social gatherings

  • Vaccinated people could have gatherings in larger groups, with less stringent social distancing rules.
  • Resumption of major events such as ZoukOut or Ultra.

Living with Covid-19

  • The focus will shift to those who are hospitalised for Covid-19 or in the ICU.
  • No need for massive contact tracing and quarantine every time there is a confirmed case.

GIRL FAKES AMERICAN ACCENT BECAUSE MORE “ATAS” GETS TROLLED

A netizen shared a story that the new age generation of youngsters is over westernized and often thinks that by faking their accents they are atas.

Here is the story:

I have a younger female friend that often fakes her accent and my group of friends often question her accent. She told us that this is how she normally speaks and she has alot of “ang moh” friends.

But all the friends are from her imagination, She told us that if she speaks that way she is more “atas” (high class).

The biggest joke was she has never stepped foot in the USA and told us that she knows everything in the US. Until one of my friends could not take it anymore and told her the truth, my friend told her that I used to stay in Colorado for over a year and I don’t even speak with her “annoying” accent.

Then I told her “Yeah it’s a bit annoying, you never even step foot in the USA before, why wanna act. You’re degrading yourself.”

After that incident she cut all ties with us as she was so embarrassed.

GUY INSIDE HDB WITH 18 STOREYS, BUT LIFT TAKES HIM TO 29TH FLOOR

Stairway to Heaven? How about Lift to Heaven.

A netizen shared a video of himself inside the lift of a HDB building with only 18 storeys in total.

But his lift was seen “teleporting” between floors, sending him from the 29th floor to the 13th floor, to the 6th floor, then back to the 15th floor and so on (you get the gist).

Perhaps he was in a haunted lift? Nah, not really, the lift was just faulty.
