A video emerged online showing a xiao didi getting caned by an Ah Beng at a void deck.
The Ah Beng was seen holding a rotan while the boy stood over a table.
The Beng then struck him with the rotan as he screamed in pain.
CHEAPO DRIVER TAILGATES TO EVADE PARKING FEES AT WOODLANDS
A black Volkswagen car with a car plate number of SLQ788D was caught on camera trying to evade the parking fees at Blk 681A Woodlands Drive 62.
Motorists who is caught doing so can be fined SGD$35 (Motorcycle), S$70 (Car) and S$100 (Heavy Vehicles).

A photo emerged online showing a YP sending his mother a lengthy message insulting her.
Apparent his mother found a hickey on him that was presumably given to him by his girlfriend.
He argued that it is “my body my problem”.
He told his mother to “shut the f**k up” and that he doesn’t give 2 “flying f**ks”.
He called her a “f**king dog” and told her that he’d rather be a “f**king orphan” than have parents like her.
HOTEL IN KOREA PLANS TO HOLD REAL LIFE ‘SQUID GAME’, WITHOUT THE KILLINGS OBVIOUSLY
According to an article by The Korea Times, St John’s Hotel in Gangneun, Gangwon province, has recently announced that it would be bringing the popular Netflix series Squid Game to life by hosting a real life version of it on October 24.
The hotel has also said that the event would be open to everyone and not just its guests.
Participants who made a booking to play the game would also receive a card just like in the show, with the phone number of the event organiser on it.
The games that would be played in the event would be similar to the one on the series and they include:
- Red Light, Green Light
- Paper tile flipping
- Dalgona
- Tug of War
Those who do not show up on the day of the event and those who do not comply with the rules will be eliminated, just like in the show except not literally.
The host would also reveal his or her identity at the end of the event.
However, there has been some issues in the build up to the event as the city’s government has issued to the hotel an administrative order to put the event to a halt as the event would apparently violate the current Covid-19 restrictions in place over the city.

XMM CLIMB OVER FENCE TO ESCAPE FROM SCHOOL, EVEN GOT UNCLE CHEERING
A photo emerged online showing a school girl escaping from her school.
She was seen in the photo climbing over the fence beside her school gate entrance.
It is unclear who the girl is or what school she is from, but based on her school uniform and the last three letters of the school name, she is presumably from Gan Eng Seng School.

SECURITY OFFICER TESTED POSITIVE & LEFT HOME TO BORROW MONEY, JAILED
56 y.o security officer Burhanto Rejo was sentenced to five months and two weeks of imprisonment for leaving home after testing positive for Covid-19.
He went to a licensed money lender at Hougang, Goldstar Credit, to take up a loan for Hari Raya Puasa.
When asked to filled in a visitor declaration form, he falsely declared that he did not have any ARI symptoms and that he was feeling well.
The charges brought against him which he pleaded guilty to were a count of breaking Covid-19 laws because he left his place of residence without a valid reason and another count of cheating which was taken into consideration.
What happened
Burhanto worked at a dormitory at Tanah Merah Coast Road which was a cluster and eventually contracted the virus.
He fell ill and developed symptoms like fever, chest pains, loss of appetite and taste and blurred vision on May 18 last year, and proceeded to see a doctor at Yishun Polyclinic on May 22.
The doctor issued him a five days MC and Stay Home Notice after examining him and giving his diagnosis.
Burhanto acknowledged this and was in the knowledge that he needed to stay at home according to the law.
Received his positive test results
Burhanto received his positive test results the following day and was instructed to stay at home, isolate himself and wait for an ambulance to convey him.
He received another call few hours later to inform him of the arrival time of the ambulance, his admission details and things to bring along.
Worried that his family will not have enough money to spend during Hari Raya Puasa, he took a Grab to Hougang to take up a loan.
He was still waiting for his turn at the loan office when he was informed by his sister that the ambulance had arrived at his place and he had received numerous calls from Khoo Teck Puat hospital and the ambulance driver.
His actions also caused the loan company to spend $600 for deep cleaning of its premises and the people he had contact with while out such as the loan officer, grab driver and taxi driver to receive two weeks of quarantine order.
Burhanto would start his jail term on November 22.
He could have been jailed up to six months, fined up to $10,000 or both for his offence.

S’PORE PR CHARGED: MAKE FALSE DECLARATION TO AVOID SHN AT DEDICATED FACILITIES
October 15, 2021, a 48-year-old Singapore Permanent Resident got himself into trouble and got prosecuted in court under Section 64(b) of the Infectious Diseases Act for making a false representation in his application to opt-out of serving his Stay-Home Notice (SHN) at designated facilities.

When Lu arrived in Singapore at Changi Airport, he declared to an ICA officer that his home was suitable for stay home notice as he is staying alone or stays with household members that have the same travel history as him.
He was given stay home notice from 14 July to 28 July 2021. The next day, officers conducted a check at his home and found out that there were 2 other people staying in his home who did not have the same travel history.
Penalties
For making false declarations Lu was charged under the Infectious Diseases (COVID-19 – Stay Orders) Regulations 2020.
He can face up to 6 months jail and/or fine up to SGD$10,000. As Lu is a foreigner he might get his PR revoked as well.

NETIZEN MODIFIES MYVI VEHICLE UNTIL IT LOOKS LIKE AIR ASIA AIRCRAFT
A picture of a MYVI car in Malaysia has been snapped by a netizen and uploaded onto Facebook.
The owner of the car has apparently modified the exterior of the car with stickers to make it similar to an Air Asia aircraft.
Netizens commented in the comments section that the man can now realise his dream of becoming a pilot and can travel out of Malaysia now given the interstate restrictions.

SWAB WORKER PRETENDS TO PLAY MAHJONG AT WORK BECAUSE HE’S BORED
A video has recently been uploaded on Tiktok showing a worker at an undisclosed swab site.
It is unclear as to whether the swab centre is in Singapore.
A bored worker was filmed sitting by himself at a table, enthusiastically pretending to touch and shuffle tiles and play mahjong by himself.
